you know besides the fact caine's nightmares finally show that he, indeed, is gravely shaken up by abstraction and masks it considerably so. and that he seems to focus on pomni the most, so much so that he visits her room just to make sure she's. alive. and well. also his eyes becoming less panicked and more. calmed. kind of. he still looks down, unsure of himself because he's still nervous. Pomni's too tired to process anything going on.
