ive invented (note: dubious claim) something i call the bear diet which is mostly fruits and vegetables with fish as the main protein source and something like once a month you eat a few hyperprocessed foods of your liking because that is when you, the bear, raid a dumpster in the suburbs
after the hyperprocessed foods, do you take tranquilizers to simulate getting captured by animal control and returned to the wild?
i would settle for melatonin gummies but well. knock yourself out
Came back wrong but the wrongness is that you're no longer as awful as you used to be. You're not mean anymore. You don't lose your temper as quickly, you don't say awful things, lash out, or hurt people on purpose just to prove that you can, not since you came back. It's the same face, the same voice, the same superficial tendencies, but all the rough edges have been smoothed away so thoroughly that it feels like something else is wearing you as a mask. Yet it's impossible to get anyone else to see the problem, because you're less of a problem than you've ever been before.
This is actually such a crucial part of healing from neglect and abuse and I have to add to this.
Because indeed, people who like you will not roll their eyes and sigh at the idea of accommodating your needs, they will value your voice and be upset with you about injustice done to you, not at you for "being difficult". They will be happy when you find a way to live a better life, and help you to get there. If you are struggling, someone who loves you wants to see you smile, not tell you to smile because "you have it so good".

unconvinced i'll ever find "the vitamin" that makes me all better so i can get real work done but i do expect they'll elucidate whatever my deal was post-mortem, after which what i did manage to accomplish with my life will be regarded on the level of Beethoven composing despite being deaf or Gordon Ramsay cooking despite being british
"lock in" is probably one of the most important phrases to enter the public lexicon in the 2020s
"all you ever do is complain" that's not true. I also resent.
*turns my attention inwards* mmmmm. no *turns my attention back outwards* oh god
turn your attention to The Character
Youâre Taylor Swift. Youâre one of the richest people on the planet. You have unlimited funds, connections, influence, and social clout to get married literally anywhere in the world. Venues would move heaven and earth for you because wherever you chose would become a tourist destination (if it wasnât already). You could choose somewhere ultra-exclusive, opulent, and secluded. Keep things private - just for you, your fiancĂŠ, and family and friends where you can celebrate in peace.
You choose Madison Square Garden - an impersonal multipurpose arena known for basketball and hockey games, concerts, and Wrestlemania.

Actually when I say âfuck all billionairesâ I particularly mean Taylor âhaving my wedding in the middle of the busiest city in the world on the busiest weekend in the world in the part of the city the majority of commuters need to get through because fuck working peopleâ Swift
*trying to pitch public transportation to Americans* itâs like a legal form of texting while driving
listen I am all for fidget toys. But we need to go harder. Humans were actually not meant to sit through lectures without using their hands. Fight against the robotification of humanity. Do fibercrafts in your office/classroom/church. You do not need to sit there like the impassable ideal man. Do fibercrafts. Start embroidering at work. Listen to the call of the strings.
âIf a society puts half its children into short skirts and warns them not to move in ways that reveal their panties, while putting the other half into jeans and overalls and encouraging them to climb trees, play ball, and participate in other vigorous outdoor games; if later, during adolescence, the children who have been wearing trousers are urged to âeat like growing boys,â while the children in skirts are warned to watch their weight and not get fat; if the half in jeans runs around in sneakers or boots, while the half in skirts totters about on spike heels, then these two groups of people will be biologically as well as socially different. Their muscles will be different, as will their reflexes, posture, arms, legs and feet, hand-eye coordination, and so on. Similarly, people who spend eight hours a day in an office working at a typewriter or a visual display terminal will be biologically different from those who work on construction jobs. There is no way to sort the biological and social components that produce these differences. We cannot sort nature from nurture when we confront group differences in societies in which people from different races, classes, and sexes do not have equal access to resources and power, and therefore live in different environments. Sex-typed generalizations, such as that men are heavier, taller, or stronger than women, obscure the diversity among women and among men and the extensive overlaps between them⌠Most women and men fall within the same range of heights, weights, and strengths, three variables that depend a great deal on how we have grown up and live. We all know that first-generation Americans, on average, are taller than their immigrant parents and that men who do physical labor, on average, are stronger than male college professors. But we forget to look for the obvious reasons for differences when confronted with assertions like âMen are stronger than women.â We should be asking: âWhich men?â and âWhat do they do?â There may be biologically based average differences between women and men, but these are interwoven with a host of social differences from which we cannot disentangle them.â

Yes.
Here, have a study (x) showing that mothers underestimate their daughterâs physical capacity from as young as 11 months old (though in reality itâs identical to that of their sonâs at the same age). And if you think that parents acting on those expectations wonât alter their childrenâs development, then I have a sloped bridge to sell you.
being in the heated rivalry fandom rn is like witnessing the olympics of gay fan fiction. authors who have been training for years in their respective fandoms all coming together to contribute some of the best work iâve ever seen to this beautiful show. what a joy, what a privilege
