Hello my beauty. What lovely choices.

Shadows Are Just Fears Within the Heart is the next part of my Max Phillips Light and Shadow cycle where I'm playing around with some horror romance themes. He's taken a shine to the reader and in the first installment she couldn't help herself and allowed him to breach her threshold for a kiss. But now that he's essentially been invited in, her home is not a fortress anymore. Not that Max necessarily means harm. But he is a vampire. And she is a food source. And they both know it. Combine that with some really bad dreams and Max using his power to get into her head, and some horror's gonna go down.

But I do love them, and love what they can become. I don't have any gigs lined up for the fall, so I'm hoping to have the time to write during spooky season....

Leave Off Your Wandering needs an epilogue. Winter was bleak and it didn't feel right just slapping a happy little ending on it, like everything was just gonna be happy shiny in a month's time. I wanted to give them a big, soft send off. So we're going to see another spring with Joel and Meadowlark and Ellie so they can have their many happy endings. The secret to this is...it's not the spring directly following the story, but a year later, so they've had some time to settle in. So you're gonna get a very soft and comfy Joel....

40 Bucks on Pump 8 is told through the POV of Lena's original character, Earl, who runs the only gas station in Lebanon, Kansas (aka where the bunker is located, aka Sam and Dean's home from season 8 and on)

It gives an amazing storytelling view of the brothers, Cas, and even Jack through the eyes of the everyday, mundane person in a very touching and realistic manner. The bond Earl forms with them is also something that I found really made this wonderful little story such an amazing gem. This story TOTALLY could've been an episode of the show, or even fully inserting Earl as a character. I love, love, loveeee this fic!

So again, please give Lena's fic a read, kudos, and comment! She deserves it for this banger!

And with that, we are getting things started! As a brief reminder for those new to the event -- AU Roulette is a casual fic-writing challenge encouraging fanfic authors to play around with different types of alternate universe stories, which will be randomly assigned to each participant regardless of the fandom they sign up with.

Writers will be able to sign up from May 10th-31st with a fandom of their choice. At the start of June, each participant will be assigned three AUs from a masterlist using a random number generator. Each author will then have the choice of completing the challenge one, two, or all three of the AUs. Any fic exceeding a 500-word minimum will be considered a completion, so long as it employs the AU premise. Fics can then be posted at any point during the month of June.

As a reminder: The fandom you signed up with is used to filter AU assignments, in order to minimize re-rolls! (For example, someone signing up with "The Lord of the Rings" will not be assigned a High Fantasy AU). Please only sign-up with one fandom.

Admin Marie will host prompted writing sprints in our Discord server, and the prompt will be our Monthly Prompt: Concert!

How will it work?

Anyone who participates in the sprints, writes something of any length inspired by the prompt, and then posts what they wrote will win a prize!
