Underrated Fics Weekend at the Pond!
That's right, it's underrated fics time over at the @spnfanficpond! Which means, there's no minimum hits or kudos for it! If you feel like some of your works haven't been getting the attention you were hoping them to get... there it is!
And now, without further ado... my underrated fics!
Damnation, Thievery and Everything is dear and close to my heart. It tells the tale of Crowley and the counterpart I wanted to give him: dangerous, cunning, with sticky fingers and a fondness for sharp and shiny things. So far, it has 10 parts. It's at a point where I can add to it without disrupting the story - and I would love to give the story a whole second part. It started from this story, written for a challenge, and now it's over 100K words.
Fallen Leaves, Scattered Words, is another series. Of course, it's about Crowley. Yes. Shocking, I know. Post-canon or AU, as you wish. He and Cas help the hunters and run a mechanic shop. What can I say, I'm fond of a few things in life.
Sheffield Steel is a character study I love very, very much. It's Crowley, in canon, considering his past. It's short, and yet it took me forever to find the courage to write it.
But, to be honest... I love all of my fics. I tend to write what we saw of Crowley after his brush with humanity, but was never explored on the show. I write about Jimmy Novak, and about Dean being hangover. Small moments that make the characters more tangible to me.
