how it felt watching gwayne walk away from criston and the rest knowing the horrors heâs just saved himself from
im sorry it's so funny to me how aemond and aegon are having a telepathic argument about which of them was their mother's favorite child and all the while she literally traded them both in a heartbeat for helaena's life weeks ago
why must female led superhero movies be exceptional. why can't they just be good. like legit i'm sick of it. supergirl is fun and good i enjoyed it and that's all you fuckers are getting out of me. go see it.
While I sort of get the impulse, it does always get my back up when people talk about something like Animorphs with this attitude of 'omgggg remember these books, how on EARTH were we allowed to read these books, they're so grim and dark and violent and tragic, no adults could possibly have known what they actually contained or they'd have been banned.'
And like. Allowing for the fact that there absolutely are adults who think every distressing topic ever should be banned from children's literature - they're children's books. You were allowed to read them when you were a kid because they were written for kids. Bridge to Terabithia is also a children's book. So is Where the Red Fern Grows and Old Yeller and Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry and The Giver and loads of other books that deal with heavy, difficult topics. It is appropriate and good for children to have books about these things that are tailored to their reading levels and it genuinely really bugs me when people act like they're somehow not really for kids because bad things happen in them or they end tragically.

I kind of miss the impulsivity that certain spaces used to allow. oh you want a hair cut today? hairdresser in the corner can fit you in before her 2 oâclock. tattoo of a cobra⌠sure leg or arm? even concerts, back when you could go to the box office thirty mins before any show. not saying these things donât exist at all, but everything feels booked five months in advance and 10x more expensive
I remember when my area got the orange smoke. It was eerie.
argentina nt one day your knees will buckle under the weight of your endless sins
âI wish I was more powerful, like you guys. Even casting fireball takes it right out of me some days.â
âHey, none of that. You're a valued member of the team, no matter what your power level.â
âI just don't understand how you can tear open that portal to the fire dimension so easily.â
â⌠fire dimension?â
âYeah. Where the fire lives. Before you summon it. For fireballs.â
âDude. We've been creating explosions by igniting flammable gases in the air. What the fuck have you been doing?â
this is like the opposite of that "wizard vs artificer" post. the one that goes, like, "oh, you've just been summoning from the plane of water! I thought you had to combine hydrogen and oxygen, that's so much easier".
and I like that. because different methods will work for different people. sometimes you find it easier to start up physics and sometimes you find it easier to tear open the layers of reality.
it would be so funny if all fire actually came from the fire dimension, so putting out a fire would be like putting out a cat at night

still fucks me up what a bad rap coyotes get in peoples eyes. like ive talked to people who see em as like. gross pests who should be culled. theyre literally just as cool as wolves just a lil smaller and less confident. i love them with all my heart to balance out all the coyote haters out there, coyotes rule theyre doing great
imagine having hatred in your heart for this beast
this post was so fucking funny I literally was just like âI like coyotes I think theyâre coolâ and so many people fucking hated it. Shut up Iâm trying. To enjoy animal
Ohh my sweet beasties⌠if I were not raccoonmilf, I would be coyotemilf. But alas, I do not have the time to devote đĽş
You personally enjoying a side character more than the main character doesnât automatically turn the main character into the real villain of the story.
genuine writers getting wrongly accused of using ai because of witch hunt and proper grammar/structure in their works must be what being a woman in the 1600s who is wrongly accused of being a witch because she can read and is intelligent feels like
âI would eat his heart in the marketplaceâ is legit the most savage line I have ever heard, Iâd like to personally thank Shakespeare for putting into words that feeling of rage and protectiveness women get when some fuckboy hurts another woman
Okay first off, I will always reblog this post, but secondly, I went to Shakespeare in the Park tonight to see this and all the women cheered *so loudly* when Beatrice said this line, and the guy in front of me looked around all shocked and a little scared and said â⌠oh wowâ and it was ICONIQUE

some people will be like âI wonder why fanfic writers donât share their works anymoređâ and then this is them when a writer is kind enough to share something they write â as a hobby, for their own enjoyment â with them for free.
some people really donât realize how privileged they are that they get fanfics for free. imagine having access to something for free because someone is kind enough to share it with you⌠and then being rude, entitled and an ungrateful pos to that person who was kind enough to share their creation with you for free
âalmost 1 year is a lil too much for meâ fuck off. fanfic writers donât owe you anything. one of my favorite fics was updated after 13 years, and what I did is that I thanked the author for choosing to continue the work, I didnât act like a spoiled toddler by asking why they didnât update sooner. and even if a writer chooses to abandon their fic permanently with no explanation, that is their choice, their hobby, their decision. they donât owe your entitled ass anything.
you people let tiktok rot your brains to the point you see everything as content farm and engagement. not a piece of art created by the artistâs love and passion. itâs dystopian.
Couple + Sibling/relative third wheel is honestly an S-tier trio dynamic and I wish we saw more of this in media.
"You are my soulmate. We are forged together by battle and tears and love. Also my brother's coming along."
"Yo."
Bonus points if the non-related half of the couple is just as committed to keeping the third wheel around as the related half.
"Isn't it weird that your brother in law is always hanging around?"
"You've got a problem with Andrew?"
