Every serious climate scientist agrees that there is no such as thing as too late, just as there is no such thing as too early. We should have done a lot more than we have to fight climate change, and the world will suffer for our inaction, but there is no point of no return. We can always work to reduce the amount of suffering that occurs, and eventually turn things around to the point where our planet is healing once again. Do not believe anyone who says it's "too late".

Okay, I don’t know if this is a nuanced enough website for this take to be understood but here goes. I find the age gap discourse in older vampire media tedious af. Going forward? Yeah, I straight up don’t ever want to see a sixteen yo with a 200 yo ever again. Please. Let it die. Give me my novel about a teenage looking immortal trying to make it happen with a human in their 50s when they can’t go out in public together. But as far as earlier stuff like Buffy or Vampire Diaries There’s just no intellectual there there. The discussion begins and ends with “these teens are coded as being more mature and we sexualize teens weirdly. We’re trying to move past it.” The absolute ongoing debates about Buffy and her love interests are so annoying to me. THIS is the hill you want to die on for these pairings? Because they have other major problems. Like I feel like I just want to go back to “okay first of all vampires aren’t REAL” before we start getting into the age of consent.

I need every single person to understand how horrible tumblr’s tagging system is

I go into the tag for epilepsy and its all flashing lights. We can’t use our own tag because people without epilepsy fill it up with improper warnings.

Use ‘flashing’ in place of ‘epilepsy’ in your tags. You aren’t warning people of epileptics, you’re warning us of flashing lights. Please please tag properly. Epileptics say this endlessly and constantly and it’s ignored. You are risking lives by doing this.
