Malachiel the Messenger Angel

i miss my wings so much, i can almost feel them aching to be stretched out in the wind again

i was wondering if anyone remembers me. i was an angel with big ol wings that were the color of a flamingo, with black tips on the ends. i had long hair that i often wore in a braid that was the same color. i leaned towards the masculine side, although i could look more androgynous if i tried. i was fairly quiet, i didn’t speak much unless i had something to say. even though i was more on the introverted side, i did end up taking a couple of younger angels under my wing as a mentor/older brother type figure. i liked to teach them how to swordfight and just mess around with them, they really brought some fun back into my life. i don’t remember my name, or really much else. if anyone thinks they could have known me, don’t be afraid to contact me, i look forward to speaking to other angels!

the name irivis keeps popping into my head, i think they may have been another angel i was close with, possibly in a romantic way? does the name sound familiar to anyone else? the name brings some sort of comfort to me, and i would like to know if anyone else recognizes it!

when i think of them i think of blues and whites, and the sort of ethereal, yearning feeling you get when you look up at the moon on a cool summer night. whoever they were, i miss them.
