Some YJ birdflash headcanons for you all (in the world where Wally doesnt die because im still upset about it):
Mutual pining turns into relationships with other people because "they dont want me and i do have feelings for (person) so we will give it a shot
They finally get together after a birthday party for Dick turns into a mission that nearly gets them both killed. They're both yelling at each other for being reckless and Artemis casually shoves Wally forward into Dick so that they kiss.
She just wanted them to shut up for five minutes but Wally scooped Dick up and theyve been gone for three days.
When they do come back theyre both acting like nothing happened, except Dick is smiling again, so the team lets them have it.
Missions start to go smoother with Dick in a better mindset in general.
Wally still retires and gives Bart the colors.
He also still takes Artemis to Paris, except its a double date with her and Zatanna and he and Dick.
Three months in, Dick comes home from a rough night of patrol and they argue a bit.
Wally gets all upset "you cant die on me before we get married and grow old together, you just cant"
They go to the courthouse the next day and buy a pair of cheap rings.
Theyll get real ones when they hold a ceremony, but they are married and they love it.
They forget to tell the team.
Dick finally visits the manor (not just the batcave) and Alfred makes a jab at the ring.
"Oh yeah we uh... Got married"
They dont hold a ceremony for a while, but when they do its on the beach in Happy Harbor where the mountain used to be.
When Damian shows up and Bruce 'dies' they both adopt Damian.
Damian actually loves Wally. He doesn not let anyone except Wally and Dick know.
He grows very fond of Dick as always, but also of how happy Wally makes Dick. And vice versa.
He gets sick at school one time and tells the nurse to call his dads.
Wally picks him up and the kid is a little delirious with fever, and latches right on, even though the nurse is still there.
Wally does not hesitate to scoop Damian up and carry him to the car. Thanking the nurse politely and letting her know that he will call after the doctor's appointment.
Someone managed a picture of Wally carrying Damian to the car and its all over social media.
For a brief few weeks the Grayson-Wayne-West family is the social media headline. Half of it because that is Too-Many-Namesâ˘
Damian thinks that the more names you have the better and requests the last name as well.
Wally decides its funny and soon all three of them are Grayson-Wayne-West.
Barbara wants to smack them but its cute.
Wally's signature becomes a scribble of WGWW. It confuses everyone.
Kon and Jon start calling them G-Dubs. Damian pretends to hate it.

When they do finally have the ceremony, Damian sits at the family table and to many folks surprise is the ring bearer even though hes already fourteen.
"I couldn't just pick one father over the other, what kind of son do you take me for?"
Dick and Wally overhear it and it makes them both cry. They do an awkward trio dance with Damian to celebrate.
When Bruce comes back Damian keeps the name and lives with Dick and Wally. He still calls Bruce "Father" but Dick and Wally are "Baba" and "Dad"
