does anyone want to be study buddies? ADHD and lack of motivation is making it hard but I’m hoping having someone to hold me accountable might help.

hello..... many things to catch up on...

first of all. I am employed!! yippee!!!! will be working at da museum over the summer.......

second of all. got a 96 on my chem test!! only one question wrong!! dude when I tell you I was stressing out for that test. I was doing so many practice problems and I was STRUGGLING. and then I took the test... and it was so easy........ I finished it in like 40 minutes. crazy......

anyways. I've got a final due tomorrow and I really did not mean to leave so much work until now, but such is the way finals go. okay well i actually thought I was almost done and then I realized I needed Seven sources and not Three sources to get an A. which is a bit of a problem because I only have three original sources..... and I've already gotten Quite a bit of information from those. they have all the information there is to add. I am so braindead I really do not have the energy to read through like 4 more really dense book chapters by tomorrow... 😭 even worse part is that I'm going to have to pick an additional topic to write about to be able to get more sources. which means I have to actually learn the topic. and I'm not going to have Any idea what's going on for like two hours. ooooouuuuuggghhhhhjhhjjjju. we'll see. we'll see what I figure out.

lunch review: had beans, banana and granola bar. classic. got a matcha from the same place as last time Without sweetener and wouldn't you believe it!!! it was ridiculously bitter. added a lot of milk. now it is good.

hello!! i've been doing all of my schooling from home since the beginning of the semester due to some health and social issues, and i'm starting to struggle a lot with getting my work done.

it's nearing the end of the year, so I have a lot of work to get done, but it's incredibly difficult to start work and it's even harder to stay focused.

i'm in eighth grade taking all honors classes, but I also take a French high school level class and honors geometry (tenth grade class), so there's some context for ya.

i also have ADHD and autism, so I was hoping someone might have some tips to get my work done!!!

hello!!

we are soooo back. as in, my to-do list is significantly shorter than last week. I also did work for a total of 11 hours last week B) not counting my actual Job Thing in which case it's.......... sixteen hours. wow. guys we're so back.

the to-do list for today..........

- spanish homework

- make graphs for lab

- start lab presentation

- study chem

- chem homework

- request internship info

- other internship application

I will be giving a Matcha Review shortly. the cafe here has some I think. it's not on the menu but I keep seeing people with matcha..... we will see.

Update: my attention span is AWFUL today. had to put on some fast music and I still feel So anxiously bored. and this was while doing chemistry!!! the entertaining puzzle subject!!!! also my headphones are about to die, oh dear. i think I need to go to The Library and sit down at their giant computers because the gigantic freaking screens obstruct anything in my view that could distract me #adhdlifehack

matcha review: it's alright. lowkey does feel like drinking dirt, it is very grainy. tastes like peach. probably because I asked for peach sweetener in it.

Update 2: I GOT AN INTERVIEW!!!!!!! YIPPEE!!!!!!

the fiasco continues. but first. other things:

just gave a presentation for my archaeology class and it went well :) now I gotta make a presentation for spanish. ouuugghhhh. unfortunately was cut short yesterday again but it was lowkey my fault since my parents offered to pick me up and I agreed. and then when I got home I genuinely felt like I was going to keel over and die if I stayed upright any longer so I went to sleep.

my wonderfully short to do list for today:

- spanish presentation

- job application

- study for chem

ANYWAYS BACK TO THE FIASCO. you guys recall how I signed up for the second five week session, right? I vividly remember that. I remember signing up and seeing that it was 5 weeks and being like dang bro that's really short. so tell me why. TELL ME WHY. I WAS WORKING ON MY JOB APPLICATION AND WENT TO DOUBLE CHECK WHEN MY CLASSES WERE. BECAUSE IT ASKED ME. AND IT'S NOW THE FIRST SEVEN WEEK SESSION. WHICH I CAN'T DO. WHY DID IT DO THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it does not show up in my dropped classes. I am going insane, because I Vividly remember signing up for the five week one. the second five week one. I am going to go to my advisor and ask them if for Some Reason switching around classes is a thing they do. and then switch to the second five week one. haha. hah. hahahaha. I'm going insane. what is happening. genuinely what is happening.

Discussed discourse on transsexuality in Portugal, depathologisation and demedicalization and opinions on it from interviews gathered, informed by government practices and cultural norms

Skipped class on 22nd because I was tired and ill (again)

Got my industrial bar repierced and eyebrow pierced for the first time

Things left to do:

Need to finish writing annotated bibliography on the papers I read

(Started one, wrote two pages then stopped to watch the hockey game)

start working on presentation draft for my research project on transmedicalism in a cross cultural comparison

Write two 500 word reflections on readings from art (already late)

Read 40 page science journal on some topic I can't remember

Make presentation on paper by Wednesday afternoon
