I’m ashamed to say I learned the hard way.

Rabbits can easily die from shock or hypothermia when given a bath. They can also get ear infections and pneumonia. Rabbits bathe themselves regularly, just like cats do. When living in clean conditions, rabbits should never need a bath.

Introducing, Claire Springfield & A. Lumi Vale;

Claire Springfield - Claire is a 19 year old who has a height of 5'0". She has long light blue hair that fades into purple that she usually wears in pigtails, two purple cat ears biny, and one brown eye and one blue eye. Claire is generally a nice person, but she can be a bit rude and protective if someone were to mess with her friends or her girlfriend, Sammi, she's also a good actress. Sometimes when she gets too frustrated or angry flames will burst through her hands, it was a inherited trait from her mother. Both of her parents have already died before she was born or at an early age, leaving her with only her older sister of which, she has a strained relationship with.

Aisu Lumi Vale - Aisu is a 16 year old who is 5'1". He has short blonde hair and bright green eyes.He is in all a calm person and is very kind but, he does has his own fair share of knowledge and actions for it. Aisu is very pure, and his friend Harley acts like a mother to him by trying to stop everyone from corrupting him with dirty jokes and cussing. Aisu also has the ability to control plants, since he has a connection with them, and they respond to his emotions. He has a general weakness towards the cold so he normally wears warm clothing.

I have a job, but I start tomorrow

Im not very optimistic about this post anymore, its gained so little traction in the last month, and if I remember correctly, ive gotten a grand total of $8 to my gofundme in the same timeframe.

To make matters worse, my job’s shift ends at 1am which means I will be unable to use shelters once I start regular hours.

Please use “Latine” instead of “Latinx” or “Latin@” when refering to nonbinary Latines or groups of Latines. Here are a few reasons why!

In general, we nonbinary Latines have been trying to find an alternative to the gendered -a/-o endings in many Spanish words for a long time. The -e ending is our solution that the nonbinary Latine community widely agrees on, and wants to gain traction.

Using the @ symbol merely fuses the two binary gendered endings. It isn’t inclusive of nonbinary identities.

While an X is not gendered, it also is not easy for Latines to pronounce. It is not a naturally occuring ending in our languages, and due to its placement there is no agreed upon way to pronounce it.

Additionally, the @ symbol and X endings are hard if not impossible for screenreaders to recognize. We want to make sure to keep accessibility in mind!

There are already many words in our languages that end in E. It is an ending that flows naturally and is easy for us to pronounce.

I don’t think I’ve ever reblogged this kind of thing before but I’ve had about enough with misinformation lately.

This is maybe possible but only if we’re talking about cardiac arrest here, which this post is not. The coughing thing is useless during a heart attack because your heart still beats during one. (Cleveland Clinic, 2013). In fact, coughing could be dangerous to someone suffering from a heart attack, especially when most people can’t tell the difference between a heart attack and cardiac arrest. (American Heart Organization, 2006).

While OP has mislabeled this as a heart attack, they’re talking about cardiac arrest when they mention losing consciousness within seconds. For heart attack victims, symptoms usually persist for a long time and do not result in immediate loss of consciousness. (American Heart Association, 2015).

Even then, the method being useful for cardiac arrest is based off anecdotal scenarios and will not help most patients in cardiac arrest because the rhythms are usually too complex for a cough to correct. (UChicago Medicine, 2019).

Doctors will sometimes ask patients to cough if a slow heart rate occurs during a cardiac catheterization (an examination of how well the heart is functioning) but that’s not the same as an emergency of cardiac arrest. It might work but this is unlikely and even if so, it would only give you a minute or two. (Harvard Health, 2018).

If you know it’s cardiac arrest, attempting the coughing method is better than nothing, but your best chance for survival is either calling 911 or finding someone who can call.
