The only reason for your avoidance of him was because you wanted to ignore the blissful feelings of seeing him. Your relationship was strictly professional yet you find yourself fantasizing the presence of him.

You hated his cold personality yet you felt warm in those stern eyes when he brought up details that you had told him ages ago.

It was difficult maintaining your feelings for him, so in turn, you thought leaving him be would be for the better. This ended horribly however after he confronted you one day.

The confrontation left you storming out of his office after he continuously nagged you after every prolonged visit. It was hard to like someone that seemed to only want to make your life difficult.

Regardless, you roamed the empty streets of Linkon. Your eyes were peeled for any sight of the doctor. Surprisingly it wasn’t much of a challenge as the man seemed to be the outlier in an empty play ground

Your breath lingered in the foggy air for a moment, feet crunching towards the swinging man whose face was flushed with a red hue.

It was clear he had a few too many drinks, presumably from his colleagues. “ Zayne you’re going to catch a cold” you call out

Zayne’s head spins upwards, his eyes squint at you when you become more clearer to him.

“ you…” Zayne mutters a few words that are inaudible before you crouch in front of him

“ you are the girl from my dreams” he feels the need to point out. These words make you frown, ‘the girl of his dreams? What did he mean?’

“ it’s time to get you home” you ignore his murmurs, wrapping his arm around your shoulders in an attempt to support his standing weight

“ stop that” Zayne holds your wrist, halting your movements. “ stop what?” The purity in your voice makes Zayne focus back to your eyes

“ why do you avoid me?” You could smell Zayne’s intoxication, his eyebrows furrowed.

He was drunk, really drunk.

“ Zayne lets take you home” you try to focus on the matter at hand, rejecting your hand from his tight grip. Zayne’s hold on you was strong, balancing out in firm and being painless

“ these past few days, I worried about you. Whether you were eating well or if you missed me” Zayne’s voice softened, eyes pleading for some sort of reassurance from you as the moon coated him in its spell

“ and now you come back like none of that mattered” Zayne felt hurt, his breath being more ragged and shallow

“ Zayne you know I’m fine I just…been changing doctors because of my missions-“

“ so..? I’m your one and only physician. No place is far for me to go to you. I’m here to treat you” Zayne gently guided your hand to his swollen cheek. He was avoiding your gaze as if he was guilty of his actions

“ Zayne…you are drunk” you were skeptical, heart on the verge of plunging out your own chest

“ regardless if I’m drunk, I lov…” Zayne couldn’t finish his sentence. The words he meant to say caught up in his throat. Every single lifetime he was bound to a dreaded curse that forbid him from uttering those three loving words

I love you.

He wanted to say that. He knew even if he was sober he would never admit his true feelings towards you in fear of hurting you. He couldn’t stand for it.

“ Zayne what are you saying?” You leaned more closely, trying to hear him better with the view of his beautifully sunken face.

Zayne avoids your alluring gaze, instead, placing a light kiss on your cheek. “ I’m saying that I want to be yours” . There it was, that false sense of security that made you yearn for Zayne even more.

‘ Did he mean it? Was he that drunk?’ Your mind was spinning on a axis

“ I will never have the courage to say that to you when I’m sober so I’m letting you know now” Zayne’s large hands supported your own hands like it was a delicate snowflake

“ let me take care of you. Let me see you everyday, all the time” Zayne knew it was wrong, he knew he couldn’t but faced with the sight of you again, he couldn’t avoid losing you to someone else.

He wanted you again despite the pain he felt again and again.

He loved you so much even if he couldn’t utter those three words, I love you.

Silently after confessing, Zayne laid his head on your shoulder, accepting your invitation to take him home in the chilling weather.

Whether what he was true or not, you find your own hands repositioning around his shoulders in a hugging position. In one breath you let out, “ I like you too Zayne. I know now it was foolish of me to avoid these feelings” your arms tightly bound to him as you gave out your own confession

“ I promise I will have you for me only, I will not visit another doctor” you vow, feeling Zayne’s lips curve upwards at those words

“ and I promise I’ll cherish all I days the spend with you, my love. My only love.” Zayne replies, his delicate response leaving butterflies in your stomach. His hands coat your face, stroking it with a tender gaze

Zayne had reunited with his love again. This time, not intending to let go, sealing his promises into the form of peppered kisses

Sharing a longing kiss, Zayne felt greedy, stealing more than he intended.

XAVIER

Xavier knew he messed up. He hated it. How he couldn’t adapt to the new environment that you lived in. He couldn’t help his urge to sleep nor the lack of emotions he tended to exert

He felt bad it ruined the dates you had with him, how he would always be late despite numerous reminders. He felt bad and knew you were upset about it

Maybe that’s why you distanced yourself from him. Taking in more missions, spending more time with your other co-workers. He couldn’t blame you for that.

Xavier felt trapped in his own world due to the lack of communication. These feelings left him having the tendency to isolate himself away from you as well. However this night was an exception

“ careful” you and Xavier clashed around his apartment, stumbling to his bathroom

“ I’m sorry” Xavier profusely apologised for getting injured. The words that escaped your mouth seemed hurt and one sided to him

“ you should’ve alerted me. You know I hate seeing you hurt” you tone was lecturing, sounding more hurt than what Xavier actually felt

“ I’m sorry” Xavier repeated with innocent eyes, his back meeting the cold tiles of his restroom. “ stop saying that” you gritted your teeth as you couched before him

“ may i?” Your hands hover over his stained shirt. Xavier had nothing to do but bob his head slowly. You wasted no time, your hands tearing at the soft fabric, revealing the shallow gash on his chest

Your eyes averted the sight, feeling sorrow for him. If only he didn’t risk his life for a small wanderer. “ this is going to hurt…so brace yourself” your hands grasp the med kit you had brought over

Xavier observes your subtle movements, witnessing your hand unwrap the graze and alcohol. He itched to confess something, the feeling of guilt he had been feeling recently and the way he hated his habits

“ okay” you look into Xavier’s eyes as a form of mercy, pressing the cloth over his chest, cleaning the surrounding wound

Xavier’s groans were fairly quiet but his actions weren’t. You felt a tight grip around your free hand. Xavier had grabbed the closest thing to him, that being you

“ I’msososorry” Xavier quickly flocked back to his stilled state, realising his awkward actions.

“ no it’s okay” you reassure, only bring caught off guard. In an attempt to soothe his fragile state, you took his hand back in yours

“ you can hold my hand for support, I don’t mind” you reminded, continuing your patching

Xavier’s eyes wondered to your gentle behaviour in contrast to your previous actions. Your coating behaviour left his eyes drowsy as he felt at ease - at peace .

After you were done you decide to stand up in order to clean the area. That was your plan until a hand reaches out to you

“ [y/n]. I’m sorry I always nap. It was never my intention to skip out on our dates.” Xavier feels the need to bring up, knowing it was now or never

“ and I’m sorry I can’t express my emotions like you do. In truth I like you a lot. I really do and I’m willing to do anything for you” Xavier confesses all at once, making you even more stunned

“ is this what’s it’s always been about?” The change in your tone made Xavier shiver

“ Xavier I was never mad at you. I was mad that we couldn’t spend more time together and that’s…my fault” your words make Xavier’s ears perk

“ I’ve been avoiding my feelings for you all this time, I’m sorry if that affected you in any way” Your hands cup his soft face without any retaliation from the receiving end

“ You don’t have to apologise” Xavier’s lips curve into a smile. “ you too” you reply, placing a soft peck on his empty lips

Xavier pulls back so suddenly, surprised by your wits. Although it doesn’t take long for him to quickly adapt and move in to steal another kiss

“ alright then. Let’s both not avoid our feelings for each other and embrace it” Xavier’s hands cups your own while the other tangles around your waist

Your eyes close before your lips are invited into another lasting kiss. This feeling is all too familiar to Xavier, in fact, he remembers his past lives with you.

It’s a cozy and warm feeling, shielding him with that sense of security. This feeling leaves him smiling softly

“ I love you and I will never leave you, again”Xavier vows, hands wrapping around your waist in an attempt to pull you down on top of him

The kiss soon turns deeper when your body is supported by Xavier’s touch’s and reassurances.

“ beautiful” he calls out, taking in your breathtaking appearance that coats him with love. Your lips erupt a giggle, enough to make Xavier feel butterflies in his stomach. The feelings of butterflies was a moto he didn’t understand until now

“ let me indulge you tonight” Xavier whispers, coating to hands in his as he drags you into the endless night of stars

SYLUS

“ you told me to find someone to keep me occupied so I did? What’s wrong with that?” You yelled, standing your ground before the man in front of you

Sylus pauses, weighting his decisions. He wanted to tell you he meant himself, he wanted you to be with him. and yet his feelings created a wall he couldn’t cross

“ god Sylus you never understand do you? You keep me here and you always keep everything to yourself despite us being friends” Your frustrations were being let out.

In truth you weren’t mad at Sylus for ruining your date, you were just mad about work and evidently without thinking straight, you took it out on him

“ in fact we aren’t friends, our situation is more like enemies…you said you didn’t like me nor my guts” you voice softens

“ I never said that” Sylus is quick to defend, his tone neutral

“ yeah but it seems like you do.” You found yourself getting even more angrier than before. This wasn’t you, and you knew it. Opening your mind and thinking clearly you end it at that

“ just don’t go that again. And don’t send Mephisto after me again.” you coldly grab your bag, heading to the door. Sylus stands there Idly, having no words to express his emotions as he watches you leave.

It had been a few weeks by now, not that you kept count. Lately you had been miserable, taking in more work commissions to cover the pain from that night.

‘Why did Sylus worry all the time? Why did he always make time for you?’. All these questions made your feelings prominent, you were falling for Sylus and you couldn’t admit that fact

Perhaps you should’ve stayed to listen to Sylus. But what did it matter he seemed to stop bothering you, keeping his promise.

Although only occasionally did you receive letters checking on your welfare.

Walking through the pathway to your home you couldn’t shake the familiar feeling of eyes watching you. Strange because you seemed to be surrounded by swaying trees

Did Sylus send Mephisto again? You couldn’t help but long for an answer

“ l want you to leave me alone” you remembered your vow. Speaking out loud to the feeling you all too well. You knew Sylus was behind you, not Mephisto this time

Sylus shifts slightly on the gravel pavement, unmoving. He appears out of the blue, like a movie to you.

“ Sylus what are you doing here?” Your feet shuffle backwards, unsure if you were in a dazed and crazed state

“ I can’t bare this any longer.” Sylus’s hair is raffled, cheeks pink and appearance unkept as he moves in to your position

“ are you drunk Sylus-“

“ yes you were right back then, your argument was totally valid. I shouldn’t have ruined your date nor should I have sent Mephisto after you.” Sylus refutes, grabbing your attention by moving closely to you

“ but..You are the existence of my being. I love you dearly and I can’t spend a day without hearing you, touching you and seeing you. So no I can’t grant your request” Sylus admits as his tone softens. It almost sounds unbelievable, leaving you stunned

“ Sylus you look drunk, did Luke and Kieran sent you to do this?” You couldn’t help but have worry laced in your tone.

“ I don’t want to fight like this any longer” Sylus ignores your questioning, taking your hand in one motion, catching you off guard

“ sweetie, I’m sorry for making you feel this way” Sylus guides your hand to cup his face.

His smooth word swayed you. Sylus had never raised his voice at you and sometimes you hated that. His charming persona and sweet talk

“ don’t say things-“

Sylus acts on your word. Placing a quick peck to your lips. Your eyes widened and you stumbled back, escaping his loose grip

“ I truely adore you” his eyes shower you with a warm feeling.

You feel all your regret come to light. “ I didn’t know you felt that way…I’m sorry” you suddenly realise your true feelings for Sylus as well

“ perhaps you should go out with me instead” Sylus proposed, taking the burden of your worries off your shoulders

Those final words make the corner of your lips turn upwards. Finally you had smiling after a long time.

“ you could’ve started with that” your hands attach to Sylus, speeding him into a hug

“ then…can I request a kiss?” Sylus’s face shifts to in lock your eyes. You chuckle sheepishly, leaning upwards to place a lasting kiss to his lips

Sylus cups your head, supporting you as he prolongs the kiss. “ and one more request” Sylus makes another statement

Your face smiles, a mischievous look on your face before Sylus pushes tightly against his chest. “ could I perhaps…have you for the rest of the night too?”

RAFAYEL

“ have you ever thought of getting married?” A question sticks in Rafayel’s head. Marriage, a far fetched term that he longed for. Rafayel’s lips turn into a thin line

- “ no”

“ I pronounce you husband and wife” the middle announces, allowing the bride and groom to make amends. A purple haired man stands in the distance, swirling his cup as he simply observes

“ congratulations on your wedding, Thomas.” The sign reads. Rafayel couldn’t help but feel envy for his manager, although he gave him a hard time, Thomas always had better end of the stick

Rafayel’s eyes scanned around, his hands twitching at the thought of marriage. In his mind, he imagines a lavish wedding that is limited to his close circle. His bride? The girl of his dreams

Rafayel couldn’t help but chuckle at the situation. You and him had an argument before you left abroad. It had been weeks since he saw you and it was unbearable.

He only had the courage to look ‘ properly ’ for his friend, despite his crippling state. After all Rafayel owed Thomas for showing up as he hadn’t been keeping up with dead lines for his art projects

He had no motivation to paint, not after his muse was gone. Oh how he regretted it all, that petty argument and that painful bond that linked your lifetimes together

He had lost you again and he had no one to blame but himself.

All night he had spent looking at his phone, all the missed calls and texts he would send to you were never opened or replied too.

“ thank you for showing up” Thomas was now by his side, walking around to show his sincerity. “ I owe you” Rafayel simply nodded, the sassiness in his tone gone

Thomas gives an awkward smile, his attitude towards Rafayel had changed after Rafayel’s personality shifted to a rather cold one. “ well, have a good one” Thomas could only pat Rafayel’s shoulder in reassurance

Rafayel dismisses it, watching the crowd ahead of him dance happily with their partners. Such a grim reminder leaves Rafayel clenching his own fists

His heart couldn’t take it anymore, you were his purpose and now you were gone.

“ care for a dance?” A voice comforts him. That voice…it’s way too familiar to him. Rafayel spins around and meets an alluring pair of eyes

“ oh…it’s..you” the voice recognizes him in shock

“ it’s so cold” you cursed the harsh weather of the night. If only you dressed for such an occasion. “ how am I going to get home” you huff, your driver who was your friend was too drunk to get you home. Adding more, you dreaded the fact you lost your phone

“ here” a cape drapes over your shoulders. The stern voice is difficult not to recognize. It’s Rafayel and he found you again

“ you found me” you mutter, shyly avoiding his gaze. “ your lucky other people got to me before we could dance” Rafayel stands beside you, reversing the roles of you being his body guard

“ why am I lucky” your sentence was quiet as you peered down at the cars racing past. Rafayel takes a peek at you, savoring every bit of your features

“ they stopped me from leaping forward to hug you” he confesses, erupting a long forgotten flutter in your chest

“ why did you come back?” Rafayel is confused to say the least, turning around to face you properly, one on one after some awkward silence

Your mind races for responses for him, “ I never went away”

“ really.” Rafayel’s tone is quiet while he collects his thoughts. “ I lost my phone so I..couldn’t talk to you-“

“ you should’ve visited me.” Rafayel interrupted, his voice sounding genuinely hurt after waiting you for endlessly

“ I’m sorry, I should’ve done that…that’s why I came to this wedding, because I knew you be here” your sweet words get to Rafayel. No matter how much Rafayel wanted to resent you, he couldn’t

Your voice was a siren that casted him into an irresistible trance.

“ if that’s the case..” Rafayel uses his hands to wrap around your waist, pulling you into a tight embrace in a split second. Your body feels limp after being caught off guard

“ let me take you home” Rafayel whispers softly into your ear, his hands cupping your hand

“ okay” you close your eyes, cherishing the long awaited hug.

The clashing of kisses trailed down your neck. “ thank you for this” Rafayel praises, allowing you to climb on top of him

“ I’m really sorry” Your hands are bare on his chest, his chest who rapidly moves up and down in amusement. “ it’s okay, it really is”

Rafayel uses his hand to coax your face, his eyes softer than before, his personality had seemingly all but faded.

Instead he had a different look in his face. One that was complete admiration.

“ please…” Rafayel inhales. “ please don’t ever leave me waiting like this again” Rafayel inhales once more, his hands covering your cheeks

RAFAYEL

He has a fear of heights, it doesn’t help his job requires him to travel around the world. With that, he will always finds some solace in you

“ remind me why you called me again?” You stood at the entrance of the gateway to the plane. Rafayel tries to ignore your question, submitting his plane ticket to the flight attendant

“ earth to Rafayel?” You were slightly annoyed, having been called at 5am to go to the airport

“ gosh I thought the sight of the airport would answer that question” Rafayel sighs. You remain adamant, waiting for a proper response

“ fineeee. I’m going away for an art exhibition, I wanted to take you with me” Rafayel explained, dragging you inside the awaiting airplane

“ why? Isn’t Thomas coming with you!” You huffed, crossing your arms in a fit. Rafayel pauses and turns back to you. “ you’re my body guard no?” He tries to mimic a puppy’s eyes

“ I am but this sort of thing doesn’t really require protection” you refer to the airplane. Seeing that you wanted to leave, Rafayel grabbed your wrist

“ I’m just scared of heights okay?” Rafayel confessed. You were bewildered. Him? Afraid of heights? You would think he would be use to flights by now

“ why didn’t you tell me sooner?” Your tone softened

“ you would bully me” Rafayel pouted. You felt guilty, you were acting like a brute before.

“ I wouldn’t…in fact, I’ll support you.” You stare down, intertwining your fingers with Rafayel’s . “ if there is no stable ground, I’ll be your land” you vowed

Rafayel parts his lips, in awe at your words. “ just tell me next time” you smile tenderly, leaning upwards to give the man a peck on the lips

EXTRA NOTE : Rafayel made you hold his hand the entire flight ( and you sat in the window seat)

Has thing for holding you very tightly. Most people would give you a squeeze but Rafayel finds himself leeching onto you

“ she said she would be here soon!” Rafayel complained to Thomas. “ I already called her, she will be here soon” Thomas was also getting increasingly annoyed

“ did you even call the right number?” Rafayel whined, Thomas snapped back, “ I did! I heard her voice!”

“ just great” Rafayel mumbled, slumping back in his seat. “ if only you didn’t lose your phone in the accident” Thomas mumbled under his breath

“ I heard that!” Rafayel sprung out of his hospital bed

Before Thomas could utter another word the sounds of the door unlocked. “ [y/n]?” Rafayel’s hopes were exceedingly high

“ Rafayel!” Your frantic voice echoed through the hospital room. Thomas had a relieved expression while Rafayel sprinted to you, ignoring the wires attached to his body

“ Baby!” Rafayel was like a little child, squeezing you tightly. All his resentful emotions were long gone by now.

His lips peppered you with numerous kisses

“ Rafayel” you breathed, or at least you tried too, he was squeezing you like no tomorrow. “ Rafayel! Too tight” you had to mutter

Rafayel instantly let’s go, scared he hurt you. “ I’m sorry! I missed you so much” he held your hand

“ me too. Now get back to your bed mister! I have to lecture you!”

He has frequent nightmares of you killing him or vise visa. It disheartens him to think about it, knowing he can’t cry it out.

Rafayel wakes up in cold sweat. His eyes frantically search the room. You weren’t by his side and that’s what saddened him.

He had a recurring dream, the moment where you perished. It was unbearable for him. With a cold breath, Rafayel hazily stumbled out his room

While arriving outside his room, there was a dim light in his studio. He was confused, usually his studio would automatically have the light off at night

With his guard up, he walked into his studio. However instead of a thief, it was you.

Relief washed over him. You were the only person he wanted to be with right now. “ [y/n]?” He calls your name

Your back was faced to him and as you heard his voice you were startled. “ oh Rafayel! I was just taking a walk” you walk to the man

“ I was wondering where my lover went” Rafayel couldn’t help but chuckle. “ did I worry you? Are you okay?” You asked many questions while carelessly caressing Rafayel’s cheek

“ I’m fine. Just a bad nightmare” Rafayel admitted, rubbing his face into your hand. “ poor you” you coo, wrapping your hands around the man’s neck

Rafayel hums, wrapping his arms around your waist. “ can we go back to the bed now?”

“ okay”

He has SO many moles.

You sat next to Rafayel while he muses about his latest painting. You couldn’t help but realise the small moles on his face

“ your moles are cute Rafayel” you mention. Rafayel stops painting, placing his paint brush down

“ what?” He wants to hear you again

“ your moles. I could kiss them all day” you teased with a smirk. Rafayel’s cheek turn to a hue of pink, “ you know, they say your moles are where your past lover kissed you” you point out to Rafayel’s moles

Rafayel smiles. Ironic because you were all his past lovers. “ Is that so? Should I claim you now then?” Rafayel gains the courage

You were a bit startled by his comment but you gave in to his alluring eyes. Not long after you found yourself colliding lips with Rafayel.

Every time he looks at you, he gets a wave of adrenaline, he vows that one day, he will marry you.

“ beautiful isn’t it?” You pointed at the flowers embedded in the garden. Rafayel only has eyes for you, “ really beautiful” he emphasises, eyes fixated on you

“ are you even looking at the flowers?” You turn to Rafayel’s soft gaze

“ the only beautiful flower I see, is you.” Rafayel gently whispers. “ In fact, you are even prettier than a flower” he adds

You feel butterflies swarm in your stomach at the mention. “ can you promise me something?” Rafayel inquires

Your body faces him, letting him know you were listening to him. “ promise me, you’ll never leave me” Rafayel pulls you closer to him

“ where is this coming from?” You giggle at the mention. Rafayel’s eyes hold seriousness, letting you know he was not joking. You feel his hands hover over your lip

“ never mind. I will Rafayel, I will never leave you” you pinky promise, making Rafayel relieved. “ good, in that case, I’ll marry you then.” Rafayel leaned in for a loving kiss

And indeed, he will marry you again.

XAVIER

Despite always being sleepy and being on the verge of knocking out, Xavier always tries to stay awake for you.

“ and I couldn’t believe it Xavier! The nerve of that woman” you ranted. It was late at night and you just got home after a mission

“ that woman had no sense of respect” Xavier added. “ I know! And she yelled at me” you ranted even more.

You were frustrated and annoyed, throwing your pillows on your bed. “ but I’m sorry for annoying you Xavier, you probably want to sleep” your tone changed

There was some silence before Xavier softly answered. “ no. Keep going. I love hearing your voice.” He muses

“ are you sure? I don’t want to bore you” you lay on your cushioned bed. “ you could never ‘bore’ me dear” Xavier breathed

You couldn’t tell if he was going to sleep or not but nevertheless you chatted your head off. You thought Xavier would fall asleep but he would always hum and give you short sentences in response

He made you feel appreciated

Sometimes when you speak, Xavier can’t help but stare at your lips. His a very bold man, therefore he kisses you to stir you up

“ Tara said she would buy me these” you pout at recalling a fond memory. Xavier stays silent, listening to your rant

“ Is that so?” His eyebrows show interest

“ yeah but she ended up buying this for herself” your pout was abnormally large. Xavier stared with pitiful eyes

You were utterly breathtaking. You put him under a spell he could not resist

“ but you know it’s okay-“

Before you could finish your sentence, a pair of lips engulfed your own. You were stunned to say the least, closing your eyes after registering Xavier’s actions

“ Xavier..” your tone whined as Xavier parted from your lips. “ I’m sorry, I couldn’t resist myself, you were too cute” Xavier teases.

“ you sly fox” you mock, feeling Xavier pull you even closer to him. “ say that again and I’ll give you even more kisses”

You always have your way with him. He always finds himself losing to you. His utterly intoxicated by you.

“ what if you Iose?” Xavier looks at the card in his hand. “ if I lose..?” You begin to ponder

“ if I lose, I pay for the meal tonight” you wager. Xavier is intrigued by your words. “ alright then, loser pays for tonight’s dinner” Xavier readies his cards

You were determined but that wouldn’t last long. You see, despite Xavier not knowing half the rules of the game, he somehow had an advantage over you

The problem was he knew he was going to win. Xavier looks up at your worried expression. You seemed frustrated and it was evident you didn’t want to lose

Xavier smiles. It was never his intention for you pay for the dinner you two would be having that night. Xavier stays silent, closing his eyes

He knew you would take the bait and swap the kitties in the cup. As soon as your shuffling finished, Xavier peeked his eye open

“ huh. The cats position seems off” he plays it off like a natural. “ Is it? Can’t tell” your laughs were stifled

Xavier’s lips stay upwards. “ guess I’m the loser then.” Xavier surrenders. You swayed him into losing and he didn’t regret any bit of it

He did it all for the smile on your face.

“ Xavier are you there?” You had called Xavier after talking with your friends

“ what do you mean?” Xavier tries to make it sound like he just woke up. “ i thought I saw you behind me” you begin to worry

“ I’m at …home” Xavier says after some hesitation.

“ are you? You know the craziest thing happened to me” you begin to retell. “ tell” you could feel Xavier’s nod through the screen

“ I was talking with my friend and suddenly the light nearby went off, so he left me alone” you explained. “ what’s crazy about that” Xavier’s voice seems forced

“ I’m scared to walk home but then a speck of light comes down and guides me” you sounded crazy

“ really..?” Xavier tries to hide his cheeky voice

“ yeah, the light reminded me of you. To bad I never got to finish my conversation with my friend” there was a glint of sadness in your speech

“ you sure? 23 minutes was enough” Xavier spurted out.

You had a smirk on your face. “ how did you know we talked for that long?” It was your turn to tease him. Xavier goes silence, caught red handed

“ you cheeky star.” You joked. “ anyway, open the door, I’m outside your house” you knock on the door

Xavier shuffles and panick envelopes him. “ that is…unless you aren’t home?” You were too smart for him

The sounds of the call hanging up are heard and you hear footsteps approaching you

“ fine. You caught me” Xavier’s voice rings from behind you. “ you really are cute Xavier ” you smile, hugging the man

“ whatever” Xavier hides the sourness in his voice, kissing your forehead.

A HUGE tease

You were relaxing in Xavier’s sofa after he called you over. Playing on your phone you hear the door unlock.

Sitting up quickly, your eyes dart to Xavier. Xavier appears before you, only wearing pants with a towel slinging around his neck

You felt hot instantly, Xavier spots you after he attempts to dry his hair. “ ah, you caught me” he smiled at your reaction

You feel Xavier’s footsteps travels over to your position. “ what’s wrong? Do you have a fever?” Xavier grazes a hand over your cheek

“ or…are you embarrassed?” A sly smirk appears on his lips

“ go away Xavier” you fluster up. Xavier giggles. “ you’ve seen me like this before…so why are you acting all shy now?”

ZAYNE

When you happened to be partying one time, Zayne had to bring you back home. However this was proven to be a challenge when you wouldn’t budge, so instead, he carried you over shoulder his shoulder

“ let’s go [y/n]” Zayne meets you at a night club. Sure enough, you were very drunk

“ party pooper” you mock, trying to drink another glass of alcohol. Quickly and swiftly the drink is swapped from your hands.

“ I don’t like that tone” Zayne softly holds your cheek.

“ hey! Zayne I was drinking that!” You slur to Zayne’s stoic face, Zayne observes your drunken state and smiles softly. “ time for you to go home” Zayne reminds

“ I don’t want to go home. I’m fine right here” you were still in your seat

Zayne is tired, and more over, he knows you weren’t in a stable state. “ i see how it is” He sighs, grabbing your waist while pulling you in

“ what are you doing!” Before you could finish your speech, Zayne lifts you over his shoulder.

“ Hey! Put me down!” You throw a fit while the man couldn’t care any less

“ I told you to go home” Zayne holds you securely. Waving to all your friends. “ this is so embarrassing” you grumble, Zayne’s lips begin to grow a smirk in victory

Zayne sometimes notices the way your desk is scattered with papers and books, being a small clean freak, he cleans things for you without being asked

Zayne passes by your table. It looked like a truck had wrecked your room. Your table had notes scattered everywhere

Sticky notes were folded and pages looked worn out. Zayne sighs, knowing you just had your final exams. You weren’t at home as of currently,

So silently, without being ordered to, Zayne cleans your desk and eventually, your room. He makes sure to keep boundaries, knowing not to mess with your private stuff

Then it was as if time had passed by very quickly. He had finished the work just in time for you to come home from your exams

You were exhausted and pent up. Opening your door you see a rose petal path leading to the kitchen

Smiling at the sight, you follow the path and see Zayne prepare a home cooked dinner for you. “ welcome home dear” Zayne looks back at you

You felt like crying, he was so sweet. You dropped your bags, stumbling over to the man

“ i love you. I don’t deserve you” you sniffle into Zayne’s shoulder. “ me too” Zayne murmurs

“ how did you do all this?” You were breathless, lookng around your decorated home

“ I got off work early, so I came over and cleaned up your place. Then I cooked dinner for you” Zayne make it seem like it was nothing

You felt your eyes water. “ Zayne…you…you are the best” you engulf his body again, squeezing him

“ you are just want I needed after a long day Zayne.”

He has nightmares very often. He always tries to lure you to his house to spend the night

The storm raged outside Zayne’s room. He is less startled than you. “ it’s really pouring out there” you look at the falling rain drops

“ a pity really” Zayne wipes the dishes in his hands

“ but you know I really have to get home” you muster the courage. Zayne looks worried, he stops you. “ how will you get home?” He pouts

“ I have trouble sleeping.” Zayne says out of nowhere. You tilt your head in slight confusion

“ I would like it…if you stayed” Zayne fiddled with his hands out of nervousness. You realise the severity of his words

“ you should’ve started with that. Of course I’ll stay Zayne” you walk over to the cold man, cupping the man’s cheek

“ thank you” Zayne rubbed his cheek against your hand. “ I should be thanking you” you laugh wholeheartedly, sharing a kiss

Very picky with food so you always end up eating his left overs.

“ Zayne?” Your voice crowds his thoughts. Zayne looks up, realising he had sorted out his food into big portions

“ are you going to eat that?” Your fork points at the pile of carrots on his plate.

Zayne looks down and embarrassingly shakes his head. “ you don’t like carrots?” You piece some information together. “ I was never fond of it” Zayne puts it

You smilel. “ a doctor not liking healthy foods? Strange” you comment

“ that’s a stereotype, who taught you that?” Zayne looks a bit annoyed at your mockery . “ I’m kidding of course!” You chuckle at his expression

“ here, give me the leftovers” you offer. Zayne obligates, passing you his own plate

“ …thank you.”

Looks forward to your daily visits to the hospital. If you don’t show up, he will get more aggravated

Zayne lights up upon seeing the door open. He had been checking the time regularly and he predicted you would arrive by now

“ here are the documents Dr Zayne” his assistant rolls around. Zayne can’t hide his disappointment, his smile was now a frown

“ what? Is something wrong?” His assistant judges him.

“ nothing is wrong” Zayne props up his glasses upwards, eyes now fixated on the computer screen ahead of him. His assistant knows something is wrong and realises the reason

“ your girlfriend should be arriving by now-“

“ why? Is she here? Did she come by earlier?” Zayne seems to have high hopes in his tone. His assistant smirks and Zayne feels a tease coming out of her mouth

“ why are you asking that? Do you miss her?” She places a hand on her hip

“ no. “ Zayne tries to immediately defend. “ you can tell me you know! I wouldn’t tease you” his friend tries to frame him

“ leave” Zayne avoids her gaze. The nurse sighs, rolling her eyes, “ fine whatever” she dismisses, walking out the room

Zayne curses silently, typing away at his keyboard. However not too long after, the door unlocks again. “ I told you to stop teasing me” Zayne nonchalantly scolds

“ teasing you?” He recognises a sweet voice

“ [y/n]?” His eyes are filled with sparkles upon seeing you. “ I’m not teasing you” you repeat with a smile, opening your arms for a hug

Zayne immediately gets up and hugs you without exchanging any more words. “ your late” he couldn’t help but lecture

“ sorry, there were a lot of wanderers today” you pat his shoulder.

“ are you hurt?”

“ nope.”

“ where’s this behaviour from?” You find yourself giggling at his request. “ …okay!” You give in after some silence

Before you could take another step, your eyes stuck out to him.

Your gaze was familiar, Zayne engulfs you into a tight embrace. “ I want you to look at me with those eyes forever ” he whispers in your ears

He means the eyes you gave when you were in awe or in love. He adores your eyes, just like in his past life, those eyes gave him so much closure. It didn’t matter who you laid your eyes on, he just wanted your eyes on him

You didn’t get him now, and you thought you would never get him. “ what eyes? ” you pat his shoulders

“ I don’t get your obsession with stars” you huff, crossing your arms

“ stars..?” Xavier repeats after you, his tone lacing with worry. “ I don’t know, you always look at those star charms and I saw some stickers in your apartment” you remark

Xavier’s lips quiver, stars. He smiles at your comment. You looked completely clueless to him, considering you started his obsession with stars a long long time ago.

“ their cute” he only states

“ cute? Okay..” you try to hide your excitement

“ does it bother you?” Xavier’s head tilts downward, his curiosity peaking at your sneaky comments. “ it’s just…I got this for you” you pull out a star charm

Xavier’s lips part, he is more than shocked at receiving a gift from you, it all happened so fast. “ I thought you would like it, considering you like stars” you try to hide your embarrassment

Xavier pauses for a brief moment, his memories haunt him like the flu. ‘ have this’ he still remembers your voice. The voice that offered him the very same charm. No matter how far he was from the stars, he would find you again and again.

He would go above and beyond to finally lay his eyes on you. No matter how you part, you will be reunited with him

His hands lay on your head and waist. Now that you couldn’t see his face, his eyes soften. They threatened to cry

“ poor fish” he dismisses, only giving a glance to the fish in the tank. “ trapped without any freedom” he crosses his arms

“ reminds me of someone” you mutter, your fingers gazing over the glass

“ what makes you say that?” Rafayel’s interest is peaked, he looks back at you

“ I don’t know. I just felt like saying it. I don’t even know what I mean” you found it silly to think such thoughts

Rafayel takes a moment to admire your laughs. Reminds you of someone? Did you mean him? It all made sense considering what happened in your past life. Yet you didn’t remember an ounce of it.

Staring at the couch, you make out a figure slouching over the couch. It was Gojo as his feet barely fit on the chair, you didn’t want to see him now. A part of you had moved on but still, the anger was still prevalent

You quickly traveled to the kitchen and drank a glass of water, eyeing a vase on the counter. You realised there were suddenly flowers in the vase. You were in shock, why hadn’t you seen them before?

Moving closer, you spot a note that was placed on the side of the vase. Picking up the note, you were curious enough to read the contents inside it

Staring back at the couch and note, you couldn’t leave the man out in the cold. You breathed in and out before approaching the couch

You kneeled down to stare at Gojo’s features. It was only now that you realised the dark circles that centred around his eyes. How long have they been there for?

Was he just as stressed as you? You felt guilty at this point.

“ Satoru….wake up” you slowly murmur, lightly patting the man’s shoulder. Satoru grumbled and stirred awake, his eyes focusing on your prominent figure

“ [y/n]..?” Gojo replies softly. You share a soft smile, “ let’s get to bed-“

You couldn’t even muster a sentence before you were tightly squeezed by Gojo’s arm. “ I’m sorry” Gojo immediately apologised

You were saddened by the apology, it made you seem more at fault. “ I know you are capable of fighting…and I didn’t mean it when I said you were selfish, in fact all you’ve ever been was self less…I was just worried and tired” Gojo murmurs, his rigid breath coating your neck

Your hands slowly snaked to Gojo’s back. “ you had every right to be worried… I’m sorry I put myself in danger too, you were right, I am still injured and I shouldn’t fight” you added on, addressing the doubts Gojo had

At last, Gojo parted from the hug, hand cupping your cheek. “ I’m sorry I sweared at you..I never meant it” you added, remembering your rude comment, shyly looking away from the man

“ don’t be, I kinda deserved it” Gojo merely chuckles, hugging you again. “ I missed you..don’t leave me please? I can do better” Gojo’s grip tightened again

“ Satoru I would never, we are in this together forever you know” you chuckled softly at Gojo’s overthinking

“ then…can i sleep with you please..?” Gojo’s voice wasn’t cocky anymore, it was a soft request to you

“ of course” you smile back, lightly kissing his cheek. Gojo smiles, wasting no time in peppering you in kisses

“ thank you” Gojo was very relieved. Out of everyone, he didn’t want to lose you to a stupid argument. He wasted no time in carrying you upwards, “ and then let’s cuddle together okay?” Gojo kissed your lips, carrying you to your shared room

But still… you stared at the blank screen, glancing over to check if the man was still sleeping. He had his back turned to you so you assumed you were safe.

You lightly tap the screen, it lit up with the passcode entry. You didn’t know the passcode as you never asked him. He did have facial recognition however so that was your only solution

Quietly creeping out of the bed, you travel to Geto’s side, kneeling down to place the phone in front of his face

You tried to muffle your shuffling but after the facial recognition didn’t work because of the awkward angle you were in, you heard some grumbling

Geto’s eyebrows wrinkled , “ my passcode…” Geto slowly murmured. “ it’s your birthday…” Geto mumbled, turning his body to the other side of the bed

You kneeled in shock, you didn’t know if he was sleep talking or actually telling you the truth. You gulp and try the idea. Sure enough, it worked.

You bit your lip softly, it felt wrong to look through his phone. You searched the messages and calls, it was all from you or his close friends. The more you red, the more a pit dug a hole in your chest

You place Geto’s phone back on the counter, feeling selfish for ever doubting him. “ are you alright?” Geto fluttered his eyes to you as you travelled to his side

“ I’m sorry” you apologize. “ no no, don’t be” Geto was calm as ever. He didn’t yell nor deny you access to his phone

“ did you find what you were looking for?” Geto slowly opened his eyes to your sitting figure

“ aside from our photos and messages…no” you sigh, moving inside the sheets to stare at your significant other

“ come here beautiful ” Geto pulled your body closer to his. Your body was lightweight to him as he embraced you in a warm hug, his hand rubbing the top of your head

Without another word you took the glass on the table, gulping down the liquid immediately. You felt the after effects as the burning sensation filled your throat like a bush fire

Meanwhile aside Shoko’s worries, you sat at an empty playground.

You were swinging mindlessly, watching your feet dangle forward and back. You felt sick and you had enough of clubbing for tonight . You watched your phone screen light up with another Shoko message and miss call

“ what the hell are you doing here?” You got straight to the point, not wanting to have ‘small talk’. “ Shoko called me, said you were in trouble and I knew you would be here” Gojo explained to you. Looking at his appearance, he looked like he just left his house in a hurry .

“ right..Shoko should of went looking for me” you grumble at your friends choices, head leaning back lazily

“ woah there!” Gojo was quick to cup your head to prevent you from falling backwards on the swing. “ shouldn’t children be playing on these swings?” Gojo teased you as he guided you upwards.

“ oh shut up. I’m leaving” you had enough, not wanting to associate with Satoru- no. “Gojo” anymore.

“ you aren’t in a stable condition, let me drive you home.” Gojo followed you like a lost puppy as you slowly walked away. He had to resort to grabbing your hand after you wouldn’t stop

“ yeah? So are you!” you mumbled without thinking of the effects of your harsh tone. Gojo peered at you through his black glasses before having a defeated sigh

“ fine then you leave me no choice, I’m not letting you get kidnapped” Gojo easily lifted you upwards as if you were a sack of potato’s that he could throw over his shoulder

“ hey! That’s assault!” You started to whin, kicking and trying your attempts to punch the man. Gojo gave an airy laugh, “ you’ll thank me later.”

“ why are you doing this?” You watched Gojo take the keys to your house out of your very own pockets. “ because I’m doing Shoko a favour, she was practically begging me to take you home, she knew you were going to kill her if you didn’t get home safely” Gojo reasoned. It was a lie. He did it for you.

“ so much for friends” you gestured, looking into Gojo’s eyes. Maybe you were hallucinating but you saw a grey tint in Gojo’s under bags, it seemed worse from before but nothing was definite .

“ let’s get you to the bed” Gojo managed to open the door while dragging you inside

You felt slightly better after reaching your home. In fact you felt your home become warm again. It was always cold when you were in it so why did it feel like it was glowing of warmness again?

“ here we go” Gojo guided you to your room. Even after months he still remembered the layout of your house

“ hey.” You stopped Gojo from entering your room. Gojo perked his head to you as if he was all ears

“ thank you.” You quietly murmured. It was a blessing for Gojo to hear such words slip out your mouth. “ it’s fine” Gojo leaned down to observe your features. It was as if the tension had changed, he was staring into your eyes differently this time.

You tensed up, he looked as if he had the urge to say something but didn’t have the confidence to act upon it. You didn’t even know what came over you, maybe it was the influence of the alcohol running through your veins as you collided with Gojo’s lips

It was familiar feeling, it felt minty and refreshing like it always was. You couldn’t help yourself as you wrapped your arms around Gojo’s neck

He was just as aroused as you were. He was shocked that you would be all over him after insulting him to the core moments earlier

You continue to share your lips as Gojo manages to open the door behind you. He didn’t break contact, pressing his body against yours as you stumbled into your bedroom

You felt like whimpering against his lips. “ Satoru..” Your legs felt weak as you fell on the bed with him towering over you.

Gojo stopped after leaving you breathless. His eyes sparkled to you as he took off his glasses, taking a moment to take in the view

“ talk to me in the morning , then I’ll give you that greeting you were looking for baby ” Gojo kissed your forehead.

You sprang out of your bed, the ringing sensation in your mind didn’t seem to go away as you hissed louder. You gawked around your room. How did you get here? All you remembered was that party?

You step out of bed, feeling curious as you looked around

You limped to your bedroom door, hands clutching the doorknob before you swag it wide open. You were met with ocean eyes which totally caught you off guard

You stumbled back as the man held some soup in his hands, “ what are you doing here..?” You manage to murmur.

Gojo perks his head at you, disappointed you didn’t remember the past events. “ who do you think took you home?” Gojo travelled past you, placing the hot soup on your desk

“ you took me home..?” You thought your ears were deceiving you. The last thing you wanted right now was this man driving you home

“ although you were relentless, I couldn’t let you sleep on the streets” Gojo stared at your frame that was stuck in place ( mostly because of shock)

“ did we…” you immediately looked down to see you were fully clothed, indicating your mind thought of other means

“ I mean you were all over me” Gojo mocked you, moving slightly closer to you. “ did you stay here? Where did you sleep?” You ask as many questions as you could

Gojo grumbled and massaged his neck from your scolding, “ relax I slept on the couch, not comfortable by the way” Gojo phrased with his fingers. It was a lie. He stayed by your side the whole night.

“ you have to go” you wrap up, walking to the man and trying your attempts to drag him out the room.

“ hey!? Making me leave so soon- I mean you were all over me yesterday-“, You rush to open the door to your house, yanking the giant man outside to meet with the harsh breezes.

“ this was a mistake.. I’m killing Shoko” you cursed under your breath, your hand slamming the door. Well that was your plan before a hand stopped the door from shutting in time

“ hey hey! Just- let me tell you something” Gojo walked into your house again. The nerve of this man…

“ what??!? What was so important?” You reached your limits, he was really good at pushing your buttons

“ I…can i stay for breakfast..?” Gojo shared an airy laugh. You stared into his pupils. His eye bags seemed more worse then before…

“ maybe you should go home and sleep..look at those eye bags” you tried your best to avoid any more interactions

“ Gojo- I’ve told you this many times” you wanted so badly to get out of the situation

Gojo frowns, “ my names Satoru” Gojo moved more closely to you. “ well- you know I’ve talked about this! This won’t work” you repeated for god knows how much

“ I know, we can’t be together because they might use you to get to me…but that’s stupid isn’t it?” Gojo chuckled to himself. You stared in utter bewilderment

“ you are also strong baby…please let me stay” Satoru grabbed your wrist, making your hand rest on his cheek

“ I missed you” you simply respond, eyes finally staring into those bright skies again

Gepard froze, his hand stopping in it’s tracks

“ I miss how you hold me. I miss how you made me coffee in the morning. I miss how you kiss and tell me everything will be fine! I miss everything!” You explain, retorting your anger on him

“ god…I will do anything to do it again but…you broke up with me” you hid your tears despite your eyes pleading with you

You stare breathlessly at the man, the tension rising, you weren’t in the right state of mind as you leaned in for a kiss

Diluc when you visit the bar is very cautious of you, he is careful to look after you

Even if it’s a little task, Aether is always willing to help you like packing the fallen books, his love language is always acts of services

You blushed and looked at Diluc

“ knock it off Kaeya” Diluc said as he wiped the glass cup, having blush evident on his face

When Diluc is not in the tavern I could imagine he would be in his office doing paperwork, now you would always arrive there with food or a book to accompany him and it would mostly end with you on his lap as he writes, both you and him enjoying one’s company

“ thank you for coming [y/n]” Diluc rested his head on your shoulder

“ no problem at all Diluc” you smiled

“ thank you for keeping me company” he whispered once more before dropping his pen and wrapping his hands around your waist

The two of you sat there and enjoyed the moment

Diluc being the dark night hero would always come late at night and when he does he adjusts to you as you patch him up, the feeling of your skin with his is enough to make him have butterflies

Diluc is not a man of words but action, he always does the little things for you whether it be to make you breakfast or tuck you in when you fall asleep on him, it’s the little things that make him so precious

You had sat on Dilucs lap and appear to have fallen asleep and upon noticing this Diluc chuckled and carried you to the bed

he put you in your shared bed and smiled as he tucked you in and kissed your forehead and before he could leave, you unknowingly grabbed his wrist and pulled him in the bed

Diluc was flustered at first but seeing your innocent face he mumbled

“ very well, 5 more minutes”

Before accidentally falling asleep with you

One of the little things he always do is take care of your hair, for whatever reason Diluc feels attracted to it so in the morning he was always take your hair, tying and washing it and you would always do the same for him

You smiled and swayed

“ aww why not? I’m just playing” you chuckled as Dilucs fingers drove through your hair

Thoma is always busy with chores around the estate and when you come visit him you would always scare him with a hug from the back, although it would always scare him he was always grateful as that action was found adorable

You stared in awe and hugged him

Adding to his soft personality, Kazuha is also a soft person, the way he holds your hands in his and the way he strokes your cheeks are such gentle gesture

Getting a napkin you try rub it but after you do, you lock eyes with Diluc

You gulp as Diluc slowly grasped your hand holding the napkin and brought it down as he leaned closer to your face, lost in the moment

In almost an instant your lips connected

The kiss was gentle, soft and filled with meaning

After parting you stared at each other, cheeks flustered and in the awkwardness turned your heads the other way

You gulped silently and nodded as Zhongli cupped your cheek with his hand softly and guided you to his lips

The kiss was affectionate and soft, it felt like home

Snapping out of your day dream you nodded quickly

“ Beidou! Kazuha! traveller! you’re here!” you waved excitedly making everyone wave back at you as you get from your place to travellers  

“ hey traveller and paimon how was your trip? its been a long time since you’ve have been here! ” you asked 

“ it was a fun time! that food was amazing too!” Paimon asnwered 

You smiled, “ thats great!” 

“oh and before i forget, isnt there something you wanted to give [y/n], traveller?” Paimon asked 

Traveller looks at her and nods and gives you a flower 

“ while we were in Liyue we made a trip to Monstadt and got a windwheel aster considering we heard Thoma was from Monstadt we wanted you to give it to him” traveller gestured to you 

you were stunned, “ why me, i mean its yours-”

“i’m pretty sure he would appearicate it from you” Traveller smiled 

not wanting to argue you sighed and took it 

“ it will be on your behalf” you smiled 

“ oh no need, it will be our secret!” Paimon chuckled and smirked at traveller 

You looked at the two suspecting that they were up to a little scheme 

“ okay if you insist” you said, secreting screaming inside, afterall you had admired Thoma for a long time

Thoma was in the Kamisato estate cleaning the place as a chore and you happened to stop by

Thoma was singing to a tune as it appeared while sweeping with his back turned to you 

“ Thoma?” you said cheerfully 

Thoma fliched and looked at you and sighed 

“ [y/n]! your back! you scared me” he put a hand to his heart 

You giggled, “ my bad, i’m sorry”

“ oh! no need to apologise” Thoma said 

You stare at Thoma and frown, “ are you tired?” you asked 

Thoma looked at you with tired eyes, “ well maybe a little” he gestured

You sighed, “ here let me massage you-”

“ don’t worry! i wouldn’t want to tire your hands from massaging me haha...” Thoma faked a laugh 

“ no its okay! c’mon take a break for a while, please? i have something for you!” you said gesturing Thoma to sit down which to Thoma sighs and nods giving in to your charms 

“ okay what is it that you want to show me” Thoma said as he sat next to you 

You smiled and softly got out the flower and gave it to Thoma 

As soon as Thoma saw this his eyes widened and sparkled 

“ its...its really...[y/n]...words can’t express how i feel i- thank you!” Thoma said gently grasping it, it looked as if he was going to shed some tears 

“ your welcome...although you shouldn’t-”

“ can i kiss you?” Thoma asked out of nowhere 

You were stunned, what did he just say?, “ w-hat?” you stuttered, shocked 

“ i know its selfish but can i kiss you?” Thoma leaned in closer to you with blushed cheeks

You looked at him with your face flushed but nevertheless you nodded, “ you can-”

And before you could finish Thoma kissed you 

The kiss looked passionate and loving, lost in the moment Thoma wrapped his arms around you and by the time you parted you were both a blushing mess and avoided eye contact

“ me too” you replied making eye contact and holding Thomas hand

“ you do?” Thomas eyes glowed 

“ yes” you smiled as you leaned in for another kiss 

only little did you know Paimon and traveller were celebrating in joy as there plan worked.

You smell the familiar air of Liyue habour as you walked around town for a walk 

unaware of the presence behind you, you were only aware when a voice called out for you 

“ girlie! my my my! what brings you here on this fine day?” Childe smiled as he strolled up to your side

You sighed, “ is there something you need Childe?” you asked, annoyed 

“ oh, you just looked too good to be alone, so here i am, your knight in shining armour” Childe winked to you 

he didn’t know but these gestures were enough to make your heart burst, so in response to hide your feelings, you rolled your eyes 

“ oh c’mon don’t do that! your hurting my feelings!” Childe said with a hand to his heart in exaggeration

You chuckle at his remark as you continued to walk further

“ so where are we going today [y/n]?” Childe asked as he followed you

“ don’t you have work?” You asked getting a little flustered by his presence

“ technically it’s about your work-“

“ hey! it’s the thought that counts! Anyway I got off early and happened to see you” Childe said , of course he was lying, he skipped work for you and you only

“ whatever you say” you said as you continued to walk

You were walking on the bridge when suddenly you spot the sky and stand there

“ is there something there?” Childe looks at what you were looking at

“ the view..it’s amazing” you smiled and walked to the fence and leaned on it while admiring the view

Childe mirrored your actions

You close your eyes and inhale the lovely scent as Childe watches in awe, the way your hair moved with the wind and the way your face was illuminated with the sky’s light

“ Childe?” You asked making Childe snap out of his day dream

“ sorry I got lost there comrade” Childe chuckled sheepishly, “ oh and before I forget I got you this” Childe handed you something

You pouted

“ is it something expensive?” You asked which to Childe nodded

“ it just…reminded me of you” Childe rubbed his neck as he watched you delicately open it

You were amazed when you realised the contents

“ are you stunned?” Childe smirked at your reaction

In your hands held a beautiful necklace that complimented your vision

“ I… thank you Childe you really didn’t have too” you said looking in his ocean eyes

“ ah it’s no problem! It’s on me” Childe cupped your hand that held the necklace “ here let me put it on you” Childe smiled

You nod and pushed your hair on the side for Childe to see easily and as he puts it on your skin, you shiver as his hands softly drag across your skin

“ done!” Childe said with proudness in his tone

After he did you couldn’t help your urge and kissed his cheek leaving Childe stunned

“ thank you…ahem I think I have to go now” you fake chuckled regretting your actions

So in the embarrassment you turned around leaving the stunned Childe

But before you could take another step you felt something grab your wrist and turn you around

And before you could react you were meant with lips

The kiss was firm and passionate as Childe pressed your head lightly to his more, he wanted to taste yoru lips and savour it

And after you parted Childe smiled

“ you thought you could leave me like that?” He teased

You blushed at his words and to this Childe laughed

“ hey! What’s so funny!” You said embarrassed

“ the look on your face!” Childe pointed and laughed

“ god you make me hate you” you said irritated

“ you know you love me ~” Childe said as he hugged you closer

“…fine but stop staring at me like that” you tried to avoid eye contact

“ so you finally admit it huh? Well I loveeee you too ~” Childe said grabbing your chin softly and making you make eye contact and piling your face with kisses

“ [y/n]...?” Childe walked to you, showing his hand to you

you look up at him, confused at such actions 

“why me?” you hesitate but ask

“why not, we make a good team, don’t we? c’mon” Childe reasured with that smile 

You stare at his hand for a brief moment but gave in to that cheeky smile, the one you knew as a kid

“ ah! With you, we make a good duo! That prize money is sure to be ours” Childe winked at you

You give a nervous smile and look at the time and wait quietly for the round to start

You didn’t take it however

“ please…” Childe begged with tears in his eyes

“ one game, please it can’t end like this-“

“ fine” you said as you muster your tears

“ whoever can throw it far will win all of it, after all it’s one match” you said emotionless

“ not now, see that timer? Can we at least talk it out?” Childe said shaken up

You stare at him and nod silently as Childe guided you to a seat area 

You two sat in silence thinking of what to say

You mustered your courage and stared in those ocean eyes

“ please promise me if I don’t make it and you make it out of this hell hole…please say hi to your siblings for me and live a happy life without me” you said tears on the brim of your eyes with your pinkie out

“ I can’t promise that please don’t. say. that.” Childe said as he avoided your eyes

“ please.” You said as your hand pressed on his hand

“ I- [y/n] I love-“

“ well look at the time..heh it’s almost over best we get on with it huh?” You said as you wiped your tears and stood up, not letting Childe finish his words

“ oh yeah…” Childe said as he slowly stood up

You sighed and looked at the wall and took a marble

Childe glanced at you and shakingly took his marble out

“ you first” you said to which Childe slowly nodded

Childe rolled the marble without effort and you noticed and after sighing you dropped the marble

“ looks like I lost to you..” you said standing up properly

Childe looked at you furiously

“ Why Did You Do That??!? [Y/n] Why?!? Do It Again!” Childe said as he grabbed your shoulders

“ I Cleary lost Childe give it a break-“

“ WHY? Why…did you join this game” Childe’s voice turns weaker as he looked at the ground, tears raining on the floor

“ i hope you have a good life Childe” you whispered as you gave him the marbles

You smiled and gave him a soft nod

Seeing this Childe’s heart broke, it’s ached, it shattered, his body shaking, he loved you, he didn’t want to lose you but when he saw you playing this game, he knew your fate was already written down

The guard observed this and got his gun ready

“[y/n]…” Childe trembled with his words

“ I love you…” Childe said looking at you trembling as he gripped your shoulders

Tears reached your cheeks as you looked at him

“ please…let me go Ajax” you said using his real name, a name that touched him, a name he would never want to hear be used

“ I can’t-“ he said as he hugged you

You smiled and patted his shoulder

“ I love you Ajax, but it wasn’t meant to be…see you in my next life” you smiled as Childe let go

He tried to speak but his mouth couldn’t bring him to do it

By now the guard has gestured Childe to leave and he had to obey, his heart screaming no, his legs aching from the pain, his chest sore, his heart threatening to stop beating for you…

“ Ajax…I love you so please let me go” you said for the last time before a thud echoed on the floor

Childe flinched with his back turned so he wouldn’t have to face your eyes, but what was on your face at that moment? He thought, his hands clenched, tears pouring down his cheeks

Childe sighed as he turned the TV off

“ wow that was a amazing performance” Childe clapped

You look at him, “ you think?” You tease

“ it made me tear up” Childe said wiping his tears

You scoffed but gave in to his charms as he hugs you

“ lucky your right here, with me for the rest of your life my love “ Childe smiled as he hugged you tightly
