2026 - 2025 - 2024 - 2023
in spite of it all, happy 2026 pride.
you can download current and past hi-res versions of these over at my ko-fi (ok to print for personal use): https://ko-fi.com/mxmorgan/shop/freedownloads
you can also snag shirts here which go to various orgs: https://mxmorgan.threadless.com/collections/pride
these get reposted a whole lot from here to reddit to twitter to tiktok and on and on, and i don't personally care whether or not i'm credited. i made these for everyone to use, enjoy, and find meaning in them. i appreciate folks who do credit me, but if able, please at least link to the threadless shop in the previous post - folks can get an official shirt where 90% of earnings go to trans led orgs focused on mental health (which is an important matter in general, but very personal to me) and not from a scam bot site selling AI-churned maga garbage where you probably won't get one anyway. i also suggest downloading the files from my ko-fi - they are free/PWYW and you can use them to make your own shirt, patch, embroidery project, whatever. tips are always nice, cuz i do like a pizza now and then, but never required for download.
final thought - breaking the pride tradition and more than likely won't make a new piece. the top one from TDOV is all i'm making this year. i have my focus on other projects currently and i don't want to force a poster design. these came from a specific head space and my current head space is Very Tired lmao so i wanna work on other things. 👍

“oh no, my audience has begun to guess the big twists of my story and are accurately predicting what will happen!”
incorrect response: write the rest of the story to be as twisty, shocking and counter to expectations as possible, regardless of whether this is a logical or satisfying way for the plot to go
correct response:
can someone elaborate on the “make hoax” and “post angry tweet about “leak”“ part. i’m stupid and don’t understand things
sure!
(you’re not stupid. I posted this thinking it would amuse a handful of mutuals who all knew the context and that would be about it, so I didn’t think about providing any other explanation. I had no idea it would spread this far.)
I’ll start from the very beginning just to be thorough. so this is Alex Hirsch, creator and head writer of Gravity Falls, a show which had a big focus on mystery, conspiracies, codes and ciphers, etc. the whole plot is kicked off by one of the main characters finding a mysterious old journal in the woods, which detailed all kinds of weird and supernatural things, but then ended abruptly with the author saying they had to hide the journal because they were being watched. the central driving mystery of the show, therefore, was the question of who wrote the journal and what happened to them.
now, the thing about Gravity Falls is that, while it must be said that the writers weren’t always quite as sure of their plans as we tend to like to think they are, it is very much a fair play mystery, with legitimate clues to what was going on. but the writers were caught off guard by how quickly the show attracted a dedicated audience, including a lot of people outside the primary presumed demographic, who started solving the clues faster than expected. so some of the fans were able to correctly guess who the author was before it was revealed in the show, and the theory started spreading. this put the writers in something of a panic, because this was THE mystery that the whole story revolved around, with ¾ of the show building up to the dramatic reveal in the middle of season 2. they wanted it to be a mystery that could be figured out, sure, but they weren’t prepared for people to solve it so far in advance of when it was planned to be revealed, which would have really taken away from the big moment. they weren’t going to change the main story itself, but having been caught unaware by how much attention the fans were paying, they wanted to up the ante and make the mystery more complex to solve going forward–but first they needed to buy some time and throw the fandom off the scent for a little longer.
hence, Alex’s plan as described above. they whipped up a fake shot that appears to give away the identity of the author as being another character in the show, put it on a screen in the studio as if it was a real animation frame, took a picture of it, and ‘leaked’ it online. it was initially decided to be a hoax (albeit, I think, presumed to be a hoax originating from outside the production team), until Alex posted this tweet:
…before quickly deleting it (though not so quickly that it didn’t get seen, of course).
it worked well enough to distract most people for a while, and wasn’t revealed as a hoax until a year later, when an episode aired that definitively proved that the supposed screenshot could never have happened, at which point Alex owned up to the whole thing as seen in the tweet above. by then the episode with the real reveal wasn’t far off, and while people did still work it out ahead of time, it was more of an “OH MY GOD I KNEW IT!” moment than a “booooooring, we’ve known that for ages” moment, which of course was what the writers wanted all along.
personally I find this a fascinating approach to dealing with the problem of spoilers, because it doesn’t affect the story itself at all; if you watch Gravity Falls today–or if you were watching it when it aired without any significant contact with the fandom–you’d never know about it. ultimately, the problem the writers were facing wasn’t that some people might guess the answer to the mystery–they never wanted to make it completely impossible to predict–so much as it was that they hadn’t designed the story to stand up to so many people working on the puzzle together, which resulted in a sort of total output of puzzle-solving ability that far outstripped the capability of any one solo human being. so their solution is something that’s very much targeted toward delaying that group problem-solving, without actually affecting the experience of any individual person watching the show.
plus, it’s very in keeping with the overall tone of the show.
and now you know!
if your audience guesses the ending of your story
don’t:
change the ending
do:
gaslight them
Hey, did y'all see this?
I saw this when running newpipe. But wait, it gets deeper. I clicked on the details buttons and it said as of today, we have 83 days left until Google rolls out this new requirement for apps inside and outside of the google play store. If any developer disagrees with their new terms and fees, they will be blocked!
I'll share some of the info below:
Looks like they're trying to nuke the remaining privacy and freedoms we have left on the internet.
What to do?
-Get your developer friends to not comply to their new guides
- Sign the open letter on the site and take action by checking out the full resources list on their website as well!
To summarize, this is all daunting especially when you feel all alone with unfair and inhumane regulations comming out faster than improvements but we got this working together!
Share the link with your friends, family and anyone who will listen!
Your phone is about to stop being yours. In September 2026, Google will block every Android app whose developer hasn't registered with them.

irritating as fuck when people get mad at Black people existing in premodern historical fiction/fantasy media. like first of all, you're racist. and second of all, you are acting as though Black people didn't exist in premodern Europe which is simply false. especially when we're talking about the Mediterranean, like what the fuck do you people think is along the southern half of the Mediterranean Ocean?? everyone's on boats, there are GOING to be interactions with Black people in Northern Africa, and there are GOING to be Black people in Mediterranean Europe. stop being stupid. your imagined homogeneous white European past is not historical reality, get over it you massive losers
What the fuck is this??????????
Folks: you CANNOT censor trigger tags. When you block a tag, it doesn't block other "spellings" of it. Writing it as "r@pe" or "r4p3" means that someone who has "tw rape" as a blocked tag will still see that post because you didn't wanna say the word rape. You are hurting people. Do not censor words, because people do not have those filtered out.
And honestly if you can't even write the word rape to protect other people then you probably aren't old/mature enough to discuss the topic.
this. this shit INFRUIATES me. i have to block literally 10 different versions of the SAME FUCKING TAG because everyone does this 1337 speak bullshit for their tags.
sorry, if youre talking about shit not everyone is gonna wanna see or be mentally prepared for, TAG YOUR SHIT RIGHT!
a peace offering for you @mwphisto
More often than not, Zayne comes home to a quiet house.
It's not surprising. It's rare that his schedule aligns with yours and Sylus's. He's used to it. But today is different, because he knows the two of you should be home.
So where are you?
He checks upstairs first, but no luck. It's only once he heads down towards the gym Sylus had built that he starts to hear sounds of life.
And what a sight it is.
The two of you are in the boxing ring, both drenched in sweat and clearly riding on a high of adrenaline. Neither of you seem to be holding back. Sylus moves in a calculated matter, striking precisely. You manage to dodge most times, but he still lands a few hits. Clearly, you have the advantage of speed. More often than not, surprise flashes on Sylus's face as you twist your body and slam your wrapped fist into him.
Perhaps he should be less aroused at the sight.
"Oh, you're home!" You grin, leaning against the ropes to greet him. He walks over to you, passing you a bottle of water and a towel. You mumble a thanks, quick to greedily gulp it down.
"Care to join us?" Sylus offers. Zayne debates declining, but soon enough he finds himself with his fists wrapped and facing Sylus in the ring. You mumble something to Sylus as you go to sit down, something that sounds suspiciously like 'go easy on him'. Sylus hums, but it doesn't seem like he takes it to heart.
They start off slowly, circling the ring and getting a feel for it. Zayne isn't one for fighting. Still, he was an army medic. You pick up a few things along the way.
His first hit surprises Sylus, a direct hit to the chest that makes him step back. Then, he grins, and launches straight into a counter. They're mostly evenly matched, but Sylus isn't holding back in the slightest, and begins to gain the upper hand.
Zayne's back slams into the mat, knocking the air from him. He hears you admonish Sylus for the slightly dirty move, though when Zayne sees you, he notices your pupils are more dilated than ever, and you're sweating a little, despite how long you've been resting.
It seems like it's time for a different workout.

hi there hello!
I absolutely do not presume that you know the answer to this question. but. i desperately want to know the answer.
namely - is there ANY WAY to sort my bookmarks based on whether I've privated the bookmark?
I had a major scare recently - found out that Google's AI knew WAY too much about me. I'd love to private all of my AO3 bookmarks, but I have so many of them that I'd love to find a way to at least filter out the bookmarks I've already "locked down".
any hints or help very much appreciated; even if just to confirm that such a filter does not exist.
Yes, you can filter your own bookmarks by whether or not you have marked them as private.
In the bookmark filters, scroll down to the More Options section and find the box labelled Search bookmarker's tags and notes
You can find your public bookmarks by entering private: false into that box and then hitting the Sort and Filter button.
You can find your private bookmarks by entering private: true into that box and hitting the Sort and Filter button.
Since I'm here, I might as well share a few other ways you can filter your bookmarks, this time in the Search Within Results field (which is just above the one for Searching a bookmarker's tags and notes)
restricted: true for bookmarks of restricted works only (aka locked so that only logged in users can view them)
restricted: false for bookmarks of public works only
complete: true for bookmarks of complete works
complete: false for bookmarks of works in progress
bookmarkable_type: ExternalWork for bookmarks of external works
bookmarkable_type: Series for bookmarks of series
You can also use this bulleted list of filters in a bookmark search by entering them in the Any field on bookmark box of the search form.
lowkey kinda hate how all the pride flags are just stripes, can we get some shapes up in here pls

sex with a nerd who looks up at you star-dazed as you ride them. pupils blown out wide, their hands trembling as they rest on your thighs because they don't know where else to put them (until you guide them where you want to feel them). their hips involuntarily twitching upwards and rutting into you when you tease to pull out early, the stammered love confession when all you asked them to do is beg. their head thrown back and the half-pleading, half-feral groan when you trail kisses down their exposed neck during the aftermath. how easily they flip you around to bury themselves inside of you again and again and again

Does it hurt?
stayrus x sorceress!mc/reader. Summary: you teach Sylus that love is brutal devotion, and that actions speak louder than words. Suggestive, fluff and banter, cannibalistic imagery as metaphor. ~1300 words.
Does it hurt, you ask.
Mmm? Eyes half-lidded, pupils blown wide as the sun bleeds into the flowered fields, crimson on crimson, aglow like his eyes. His question is lazy, distracted. His wings unfold behind him, the veins spiderwebbing shadows through the thin membranes. They, too, are molten with the dying light.
Here, you murmur, fingertips brushing carefully across the hard, black, bone-like protrusions drifting from his ear, along his cheek, jagged down his jaw.
Mouth to mouth, his lips are the softest part of him right now, aside from those wide, wide wings. Eyes focused on yours, he breathes a sigh, licking delicately along your bottom lip.
No. I can’t feel it when you touch me there so softly. If you want to hurt me, you’ll have to press harder.
Chest to chest, hips to hips, you straddle his lap as his clawed hands span the width of your back. Close like this, you can’t tell where his skin ends and yours begins, hot and sweaty in the windless valley palmed between looming mountain peaks, like a child’s fingers curved over a captured dragonfly, sheltering, or smothering, only the life or death of the dragonfly will tell.
Opening your mouth, exposing your teeth, you nip the tip of his tongue. He hisses, a sharp little sound, but his pupils swallow his irises, black holes crushing hydrogen flames.
You suck, pulling his tongue into your mouth to soothe it with the softness of your own. He lets you.
The sun drowns itself in the jagged horizon as the fireflies flare, competing with the stars as they blink over the darkened valley of flowers. The world is so still, there is only the wet sound of your mouth on his, the creak of his leathers under your hips, the soft sounds deep in his throat.
Finally, you release him. I didn’t ask in order to hurt you.
The arch of a silver brow, the heavy thump of a vicious tail flicking. Flowers torn from the stems, their nectar oozing from newly broken stalks. They make you dizzy with the release of their intoxicating scent. Could have fooled me, sorceress.
You press your lips to his, soft, soft, hard. Teeth and tongue, until you force yourself to pull back. It’s hard, when you want to swallow him whole. It just looks painful, like a callous grown too thick.
If this is flattery, you need more practice. He turns his head, hiding that side of his face from you despite his apparent indifference.
Stop deliberately misunderstanding me. I’m trying to learn more about you. Nudging his jaw, guiding him back to look at you, you press the tip of your nose against his, rubbing gently. You're trying to say, you are safe with me. Even when I want to carve you into pieces, savor every bite of you, it's only because I don't know how to contain how hungry I am for you.
Ask about my manhood then, if you’re so interested in my body. I’ll gladly deepen your acquaintance. He bucks his hips, pressing into you, as if to drive his point home, if not just his manhood.
You laugh, always startled by these flashes of lighthearted teasing, of dry humor.
But you will not swayed, or distracted.
Fingers drifting further up his face, you plunge them into the lush fall of his hair, run your nails through its silken strands to drag along his scalp.
A low rumbling against your heart. He purrs, eyes closing fully. You miss their light immediately.
Stayrus, you say, halting as ever. You have something to say, but this bothers you, every time. I hate that I can’t pronounce your true name.
He opens his eyes again, their glow brighter than the firefly flickers filling the night around you. Enough of that. I like that you gave me a new one. I like the one you gave me.
You'd look away, if you could stand to be parted from his gaze. No matter how long you're with him, every moment with him feels like it could be your last. You know all too well that the world is too cruel to let you keep him for long.
Stayrus, you repeat. A prayer.
Sorceress, he answers, the ritualistic answer to a prayer.
You call, he answers. He calls, you answer.
This is how you both know you're both still alive, after the bloodbaths.
And these? Finally, you grip the base of his horns, thrusting from his tender scalp. Do these hurt?
His steady gaze falters, drifts across the starlit valley, flickering above, flickering below. Only when they first grew in.
Liar.
His claws tighten along the skin of your back, but not enough to draw blood. Yet.
Cease your endless questioning. Let us indulge in real pleasures.
Again, you guide his gaze back to yours by gently tugging on his horns, recovering what is yours by right. His eyes on you. Your eyes on him. My first pleasure is learning more of you. There is no other pleasure for me, without satisfaction of the first.
Scowling, he considers your terms, and then accedes. They hurt when they first came in, and they hurt when I tried to carve them from my skull.
He must want to rut very much, if he's willing to be so forthcoming about something so sensitive with so little resistance. You reward him with a sharp smile.
Why would you carve them from your skull? They’re beautiful.
His scowl deepens, but his eyes remain on yours. His vanity, soothed by your words. Beautiful like a bull’s eye to the archer, perhaps.
All at once, you understand.
The stars pulse, overhead. The fireflies flicker, underneath.
This world is cruel to those who are different. His horns, a symbol of his otherness. Your blank stare, a symbol of yours.
Kindred spirits, hunted by frightened fools.
You caress the wicked points of his horns, satisfied only when you draw blood from the tip of each forefinger. Smearing your blood along his bottom lip, you ask, Did you try many times, then?
Only a fool keeps trying the same thing repeatedly with the same results, every time.
Something in your chest spasms at his non-answer. They say you don't have one, so surely it's not your heart that hurts so much at his unspoken confession. So you were very foolish.
Closing his eyes, nostrils flaring in a resigned sigh. Are you satisfied? Will you cease your fruitless questions, now?
Of course. You never want to hurt him, even as you want to peel him like a fruit, lap up his tender flesh, drink his juices, carry him in your stomach forever.
You want them to have to disembowel you, to get to him.
All you can say: It’s just as well you quit on your own. Else I would have made you stop.
The molten glow of his eyes follows your lips in the dark. Confusion. Wonder. Why?
Leaning down, hands still curled around his traitorous horns, you press your lips to his forehead. To his eyebrows, first right, then left. To his nose, in all of its proud glory. Finally, you lean back, meet his glowing gaze. What need have you now for camouflage, when I will skin alive any who dares touch you, and wear their pelt like a cloak in the high, cold atmosphere when we fly?
Through the leathers over his groin, he hardens against your body.
Is this what you mean by love, he wonders aloud, voice wonder-filled.
You grind your hips against his, your hot wet heat against the iron length of him. What else could it be, my dragon?
He stares. In the deep dusk, you can barely make out the serious tilt of his thoughtful mouth, the sharp slope of his nose. His eyes, focused on yours. Whatever it is, I like it. Tell me more.
You laugh. The fireflies scatter at the sound as it echoes through the valley, as townsfolk scatter at the sound of your warcries fanned by the heavy beat of his wings.
Words are cheap. I’ll show you, instead.
And so you do, under the pinprick diamond sky, amidst the suspension of fireflies, under the blanket of datura.
As his hips slap against yours, and your saliva drips into his mouth in one long string—as he sinks his teeth into your shoulder, and his claws into your spine, he gasps, Does it hurt?
Through the pleasure of his body filling yours, his claws in your muscles, his teeth in your flesh, his question evokes only the memory of the spasm of your heart in response to his youthful pain, his misguided self-mutilation. But you don't know how to explain how it hurts you, now, when you must witness his hurt. You too are still young, and your wisdom limited.
You cheat, echoing his words instead: Only when you first come in. When his hips stutter, faltering in their relentless rhythm, you cry out. Keep going.
He laughs, breathless, his youth mirroring yours. Only a fool keeps trying the same thing repeatedly with the same results.
Bringing your lips close to the lovely curves of his delicate ear, you whisper, Then I'm gladly a fool for you. Don’t. Stop.
As you wish, he lies as he pauses, then thrusts once, hard, following your enraged whine. My beloved.
i hope you enjoyed reading! i saw this art last night and immediately started writing this drabble on my phone. it's so crazy to think that so much of who sylus is now comes from his time with sorceress mc in their first life together. hurts to think about. i'd love to hear your thoughts in tags or comments, if you feel like sharing!
