We as a fandom do not discuss the fact that Alex Blake likes hiphop enough. Like, it makes so much sense. She’s a linguist!! Hiphop is all about language and rhythm. I feel like she’d be a total hiphop nerd, big on the classics, but still staying up to date with the new stuff. I think she’d be a really big Kendrick fan. I think her favourite Kendrick album would be Mr. Morale (it’s underrated but brilliant, just like her lol), but she would think that objectively TPAP is his best.
I’m not done. Alex bonds with people in quiet ways. Imagine her making Morgan mixtapes or playlists of songs she thinks he would like for their flights back from cases. They talk about music and different artists from their childhoods.
