I'm lowkey still annoyed by the mom on my last long-haul (16 hour!) flight who got a flight attendant to wake me up out of a rare deep sleep to ask me to turn off my reading light because it was shining in her three-year-old daughter's face. It was her daughter's reading light connected to her daughter's seat. I had to be the one to point that out and couldn't fall back asleep after. 🤦🏻‍♀️

What was lovely about the Reid/Blake dynamic was that Spencer was always so supportive of Alex, too. He listens to her, asks her what she thinks she's going to do when her husband proposes moving to Boston, even when he's surely disappointed by the idea of losing her so soon. He notices her tell for when she's stressed out / upset (whispering lyrics to herself) and doesn't just ignore it when he knows what it means. He gives her a space to talk about her son and the dignity of the unspoken goodbye they share in her final episode. He adored her and he always had her back quietly, steadfastly, and in this overall very gentle and sweet way.
