You got to be fucking kidding me! Is this an adhd-thing? Fuck all the way off! I have been laughed at and ridiculed because I wrote my MA thesis in the cafeteria at uni. The silence at the study hall was driving me crazy and music distracts me too much. I need human background noises to concentrate when I write. An adviser-person even told me she uses me as an example to other students about how important it is to do things how they work best for you NO MATTER HOW SILLY THEY ARE!!!

When I do chores around the house, I *need* Belzebong as background music. It's mostly without lyrics, and it's nice to dance along to.

People find it so weird that I get distracted by songs with lyrics in. And *omg* how can a person who enjoys brutal death metal even consider listening to classical stuff. Well, sweety....

So..... I just wanted to say wow. So it can be an adhd-thing this "strange" way I use music when I do things....

Can't wait to be assessed for adhd in September.....

Some things about this post since getting quite a few notes:

1. If you see this post, highly recommend taking it as an opportunity to set a timer for 15 minutes and switch over to ACTIVITY YOU ENJOY. if after those 15 minutes, you want to go back to scrolling, that's okay!

2. Huge shout out to this popping up in my notifs often, bc I do go back to activity.

3. I think there are times where scrolling is fine. Right now, for example, I'm being connected to a machine for two hours to donate plasma and platelets. Yes this is a brag but it is also a time where scrolling is one of the few things I can do. (Though I will probably also read or watch something on phone lol)
