I did this drawing last year, but I forgot to send that to you 🙇‍♀️ I really really LOVE this AU! It's so cute and adorable, for real! A mix of slice of life and rock band romance hihi LOVE IT!

Sooo context for the drawing: I was listening to "Bad Romance Rock Version from Halestrom" (last year) and I had an inspiration. Something like (prepare for the fic):

"Petey and his band are playing a last show before a big tour. The thing they always wanted and everybody is so excited. But Petey is... confused? Sad? Troubled?? Well, Dogman will ALSO take another way: he is moving to another state. He received a great oportunity, something he can't refuse (I don't know exactly what tho xdxd). Dogman, to make things even sad, won't be present on the last show. Petey didn't declared yet and that hurts a lot. Sarah even said that, if that's what he wants, he needs to go for it, but the cat is already hopeless."

"Day passes and the big show is here. There is a looot of people. A huge crowd. But Petey is still annoyed. The band tries to talk with him, but he refuses. BUT, during the show, someone IS in the crowd: Dogman. He is on the VIP area and smiling from ear to ear. Petey almost faint. It's now or never."

"The song ends and Petey look at Sarah, asking for THE song. It was not meant for the show, but the moment requires it. Sarah sinalizes to the band and the song starts. Petey play all the notes looking at Dogman, trying hard to show him, through the music, what he is feeling. But he still doesn't know the dog's answer..."

(Okay, now the fanfic diverges from the fanart. On the drawing, I put a crowd on the background, like the kiss happenned on the stage. But I don't know if this would really happen. They seem kinda shy. I just put the crowd there for aesthetic kdkdn soo ignores that for the fic)

"Dogman starts to wave at Petey, like a... GOODBYE?! Oh no no no. He is leaving already! What? NOT THIS TIME! Petey goes to the backstage (yes, during the show and the middle of the song), leave his bass and start to run. He takes a different path to not pass near the fans or the public. Even ignores his manager. The guy has only one thing in mind."

"Dogman is walking, leaving the show silently, but with a smile on his face. OF COURSE HE UNDERSTOOD THE SONG, but he doesn't want to mess with Petey career... Petey deserves to follow his dream. Yes, life is not fair, Petey won't be with him and...Petey is running back to him?"

"He can't sinalize a thing before Petey kisses him"

"Both stuck on the same place"

"No word or song is necessary anymore"
