This is a writing blog so I (and anyone who is interested in what I write lol) can keep better track of my writing projects and ideas. I'm an adult, and a lot of what I write will contain mature content, so keep that in mind. As the title suggests, a lot of my writing is also quite whump centric (very angsty, essentially), and will cover some pretty heavy stuff. With that out of the way, my main is twitchystitchwitch, I use they/he/it/ye pronouns (I'm fine if people just pick a single one out of there and stick with it). All my blogs are entirely created and managed from mobile, so I am sorry if they don't look very good
I'm gonna try and use this to keep things organized, both for myself and for anyone who is looking for info on anything I'm working on! Under the cut I'll be linking posts that are compilations of information on different stories I'm working on and different ideas I've had, and just other helpful info!
I trust people to police their interactions with me based on their own comfort, I will not be doing that for you. I am autistic, and as such I may have to ask for excessive clarification in conversation. This is not an attempt to be rude, it is just how I have to interact to limit misunderstandings
I will be writing several things inspired by my own experiences with disability, gender, and trauma, but I will also be trying to represent things that I do not experience. If you see me representing something you are familiar with in a glaringly offensive way (I do my best to avoid this by research, but I am a single human making content for fun so sometimes things slip through) please politely let me know. Other than that, I would appreciate a limit to criticism of my works. I wrote a lot and I wrote consistently for several years before a head injury and worsening neurological and cognitive problems gutted my ability to write. After over a decade I am finally on meds that have issues under control to allow me to write, and I have finally scraped together the self confidence to put my work out there. I don't want that to be damaged by excessive criticism
Due to ongoing neurological and cognitive disabilities I have bouts of memory loss and bouts of struggles with putting words together, this makes it hard to have a consistent writing style. I'm no longer stressing myself out about this, because it isn't something that can be changed
I can't guarantee I'll be able to fill requests that are sent in, but I'd really love to interact more with other people in fandom so I'm gonna drop what fandoms I'm interested in below the readmore too!

My gal Ahnah!! She's from a fic set in the Avatar the Last Airbender verse!
She is one of my favorite OCs to whump because she has a bit of a complex about always needing to be the one to keep things light and cheer people up, so it is always devastatingly fun to push her to a breaking point
I also really love doing hurt/comfort with her because she deserves so much comfort and support, and it's really nice to have a character that will slowly get that idea through to her!
She's also disabled, though she is one of my characters who would hesitate to call herself as much. She has a knee injury that never healed properly, and due to the active job she works it only continues to get worse. She lives with two close friends of hers that she considers her younger siblings, who are also disabled. One of them, her sister Iris, is also a trans woman!

FAQ and Rules
What sort of content can I create for this event?
You can create whatever you want (fic, art, edits, etc). Any fandom is allowed, as well as OC stuff. NSFW is allowed, but please tag your content accordingly! The only thing not allowed is AI-generated content. You're also free to combine these prompts with the prompts of any other event.
Do I need to make 31 things to participate?
Oh heavens no! You can make as much or as little content as you like, skip days when desired, or combine prompts (so for example, write something that covers a prompt from day 1, 2, AND 3). You don't have to do the days in order either, go wild! To be considered a 'completionist', you only have to make sure that at the end of the month, you've covered 31 prompts from 31 different days, but whether you do that in 31 works or just 1 is up to you. Your works can be separate oneshots or one continuous fic, or something in-between.
How do I interpret these prompts?
Creativity is the name of the game here! If you don't understand a prompt, feel free to send us an ask about it. However, the important thing is you can interpret the prompts however you want. For example, 'heat' could be literal (fever, heatstroke, burn wounds) or figurative (somebody getting heat for something). The dialogue prompts are allowed to be slightly rewritten to fit better for the character whose mouth it's coming out of, be that the whumpee, whumpter, or caretaker. As long as you're having fun!
What are these alts about?
If none of the three prompts of a particular day are your cup of tea, you can swap them out for an alt prompt of your choice. This will count as having covered that day for completionists.
How do I tag my works and is there an AO3 collection?
It suffices to tag your work with #ailesswhumptober for us to see and reblog it! Please also tag nsfw content, since we'll be using that tag on this blog too. Tagging the day is optional but does help the mods along.
There will be an AO3 collection like every year. It will be linked here once created (closer to October).
What's this I hear about badges/achievements?
For those who want an extra challenge, we come up with a set of achievements each year in addition to the 'completionist' one for you to strive for. Each achievement you complete comes with a cool little badge, hand drawn by our very own Mod Radio, which you can claim at the end of the event. A full list of the achievements will be linked here once created (closer to October).

- Whumpee being tied to something heavy and dropped into a deep pool of water. Straining/pulling against ropes chains as they run out of breath, their body slowly going limp
- Similarly, whumpee seeing a form swimming towards them (caretaker?) through bleary eyes
- Whumpee has a near-drowning experience but makes it out and assumes theyβre fine. Later, they end up developing pneumonia from the leftover water in their lungs
- Whumpee being pulled out of a body of water and needing cpr, caretaker wincing slightly as they break whumpeeβs ribs
- Caretaker swimming with an unconscious whumpee and trying to keep both their heads above water (bonus points if the water has waves/is choppy af. Bonus bonus points if caretaker runs out of strength and they both start to go down)
- Whumpee who has to swim a very long distance finally makes it to shore. They drag themselves onto land and immediately pass out/collapse from exhaustion
- Caretaker shaking/screaming at a whumpee they just pulled out of water to wake up
- Whumpee coughing/gasping as they struggle to get the water out of their lungs
- Whumpee drowning in shallow water. Maybe they're caught on something/pinned by something, maybed they're being held, but the surface is right there
- Whumpee on their back in water, having to consciously breathe out the last precious bubbles of air they have to try and keep water from rushing up their nose
- The moment of horror and panic when they run out of air to breathe out, and suddenly there is water rushing into their sinuses and down their throat no matter how hard they try to hold their breath
- Whumpee being the only one in a group who actually knows how to swim, despite a near-death in the water before. They have to choose to be the one to go in to save someone else, because no one else can
- A whumpee who is pinned in rising water, and can only hope they are freed before it's too late

Captor Whumper that grows a severe attachment to Captive Whumpee; Whumpee is the only one who's ever stayed with them - willing or not.
Whumper spends all their free time wherever Whumpee is confined, just musing on topics that range from their own childhood to their daily frustrations. And within Whumpee's terrified silence or bare minimum answers, Whumper finds companionship they've always craved. Whumper develops an extremely skewed view of their relationship, and ultimately ends up needing Whumpee on a fundamental level.
When all along, what Whumper really wanted was a feeling of power over Whumpee - the sick knowledge that they were entitled to someone else's life, that Whumpee completely relies on them for everything.
When/if Whumpee gets rescued, Whumper completely falls apart. The idea, obsessive planning of recapture is the only thing keeping them going; Whumpee can't leave Whumper. Not like everyone else. Whumper won't let Whumpee betray them, make a fool out of them.
Because if Whumper doesn't have Whumpee, what do they have?
i greatly respect people who have casts of characters with very defined whump roles. sometimes that far better serves the narrative or embodies the message or evokes emotion and catharsis. however my cast is a bingo card and the more who suffer badly the more i WIN π
Yulma Erased AU, I don't have too many details sorted out at the moment but the vibes are too perfect to pass up. Need to decide if I want to lean closer to Erased canon, or find a way to keep the fucked up human experiment aspect of the Second Exorcist project
I keep forgetting to check notifs on this blog, whoops! I did some more thinking on this one and ironed out some more specific details to use when I get around to this! I found a way to stick with both the Erased type setting AND some of the fucked up Second Exorcist stuff! My thought for it is that Kanda and Alma are the only successful survivors of a facility that sought to find a way to gestate a fetus without a body from in vitro fertilization to full term, but they were considered partial successes because they remained medically fragile and required the support of constant interventions to survive until roughly 8 or 9 (the age where they "awaken" in DGM), at which point they both stabilized enough to be released from the facility. So they still have the incredibly close upbringing and shared trauma we get in D. Gray-man, but by the time they're a few years older they've both been adopted and are being encouraged to interact more as acquaintances than the extremely close bond they had (I figure this would be pushed as part of their "recovery" from the ordeals of their early lives). My thought is that Kanda ends up with Tiedoll in a genuinely good and loving household, while Alma is adopted into a far less ideal environment (haven't thought of any specifics on that yet) and that leads into the Erased plotline!

At the moment though, my sister (who I dragged into the pit that is DGM the moment she was old enough) is begging me to write a LaviLena Proposal AU that I'm trying to iron out lololol
A wise sister, I see! She figured out the good ships XD I'm afraid Yulma is also a few items down on my writing list, too, but I will get to this idea some day! In the meantime I have very OC centric non-DGM stories and a lot of Miranda centric stuff to work on XD I'm always working on this idea in the back of my head, though, making sure it is ready to go once its time comes!

Whumpee going through a bad migraine that does more heaviness, fog and difficulty keeping upright than actual pain. The team has to walk a long distance, unaware of Whumpee's migraine. Whumpee tries hard to keep up, everyone is too busy to notice but every time they have to stop even for a little bit, they crouch down and bury their heads in their arms, only to be deprived of continuous relief as they keep moving.
You know as much as I like the "whumpers play for the prize of getting to whump the whumpee" I think whumpee should every now and then get the chance to play for not getting whumped. So they can lose horribly.
