a funny layer to the "imagine disco elysium but it's about a young witch trying to solve the disappearance of her neighbor's cat in the alps" tweet that i think goes understated is that the op, a game designer, was really obviously hoping this elevator pitch would go viral and the public demand for such a game would lead to her getting some sort of deal with a studio to develop it

sometimes when a real horny post thats typed like this crosses my dash mommy stares at it in confusion trying to figure out what the joke is but there is no joke. some people really jack off to this

I was talking about this with a friend but a really interesting cultural shift over the last ohhhhhh ten years maybe is that many people in fandoms view themselves as stakeholders and not audience members. Because of that, they think that the fandom should be running things, or at least have an acknowledged say in how something is run. And every reminder that they are not in control, no matter how small, bothers them.

I think the reason I still enjoy tumblr is that even though this all still pisses me off, I know that anything that makes me mad on here is 100% earnest. It's not ragebait or engagement farming, y'all are actually just that stupid sometimes
