Dethklok as a concert is such a fun show and I love seeing their songs live but I also just wanna say how much I WOULD GO SO CRAZY for a full Doomstar Requiem show. Like I just want to watch a full playthrough/performance. I guess that's not really possible with him doing like half the voices but udkggirhgh I love the Doomstar Requiem so much I love every song in it and I jam out to the whole thing so hard

Like the one part of the Dethklok show last year when they played the Toki/Skwisgaar duel I was McFreakin Losing It TM I got a little snippet of it because I knew I'd be mad at myself if I didnt save some amount of it to look back on again but other than that I just spent the whole song bouncing and flailing my hands around like a doofus i FUCKING LOVE THE DOOMSTAR REQUIEM

Hang on, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there a whole thing a little bit ago about "support tumblr because we're against selling user data"? Surely their "licensed network of content and research partners" are paying Automattic for this data, which is obtained from users? Like I know it's not exactly the same as selling personal information like most sites do but this still leaves a NASTY taste in my mouth

Not enough people supported them. I remember some time ago an employee/ former employee shared the figures for ad-free subscribers and they were depressingly low. So now Tumblr is likely using one of their only other viable money options

Pretty sure there are some options you should exhaust before you get to "sell our users' art, prose, and sensitive personal posts to AI companies"
