This is getting traction again as cases surge. I want to repeat what I’ve said on Twitter: In the 4 months since I’ve posted this, none of my symptoms have improved. I’m nearing 2 years post-COVID with zero improvement, no answers, and little hope. Take this seriously.

Because I’m a nerd and I love linguistics! It’s called a “tap,” when we soften the t sound to kind of like a d or even softer; when the t is at the end of the word, we often just replace it with a glottal stop and don’t pronounce it at all. Listen again and you’ll hear them.
