🍊 Who’s a character you don’t write for that often, but keep meaning to write for more?

kind of a cop out but I really miss some of my OCs…I worked so hard on them and I haven’t touched Cailinn in particular with any depth since the behemoth!! when she’s one of my oldest and most beloved OCs!! someday maybe

another cop out but a pairing with canon characters I’d like to tackle someday is haytee. SC made it so weird. “I was reaped the day you were born” WHY did he say that. why. now Haymitch and Beetee are linked in the strangest way with a huge age gap. to me this sounds great and there’s so much potential for freak shit 10 years after Haymitch’s victory. would love to work with it

🍏 Is there something you overuse, whether it’s a certain phrase, trope, or piece of punctuation?

a trope I overuse…it’s hard to tell but I do think I lean a wee bit heavily on miscommunication. but also a) that’s how plots happen b) that’s how realistic dialogue happens and c) most importantly that’s how ongreenergrasses has a rip roaring good time writing

🍌 In your opinion, what’s the funniest joke/reference/pun you’ve made in a fic?

so I still think I’m not that funny but god bless @kittymalicious bc they were Not having it the last time I said that and I forgot that Johanna in Marriage, a History is actually pretty sarcastic and funny. she has this banger line I like:

“Ah, yes,” Johanna said. “My heir, which will be somehow conceived through the power of occasional eye contact with my husband in one of his brief moments on land, will certainly usurp all the carefully planned machinations both your families have orchestrated, which also include my husband long ago agreeing to sign over his share of the company and approve the merger as long as he can continue his captaincy.”
