Hong Kong police = Terrorist.

This is the truth of what happened in Hong Kong last night.

To you who is reading this right now,

We, Hongkongers just experienced a terrorist attack planned and executed by our Hong Kong Police Force. At about 10pm today, our police force rushed into our railway system in Prince Edward station, got in to the carriage and indifferently beat up all the people in it regardless they are protesters or simply passengers. They ignored the weapon guidelines and fired tear gas indoor in the carriage which is in fact lethal. Also, they beat up innocent people causing them seriously wounded. Some passengers kneeled before them asking them to stop but the response they got were beaten ever harder. Meanwhile, the police haven’t arrested the passengers after they got beaten up, showing that the only purpose of their brutality was to sort their anger to violence but not dispersing the crowd.

Not only that, they refused to let first aider enter gated station with wounded inside even the first aider was begging and promising to ditch all his gears. He even pleaded that the police could beat him up after he has saved the people inside. The police still wouldn’t let the first aid team in.

We, Hongkongers are experiencing a humanitarian crisis and we hope that people all over the world can help us in anyways you can think of. Thank you and we will stay strong.

The show did Walker SO DIRTY I can’t even grasp it. Here’s the thing: idk if he was introduced simply as a complication/ drama to get in the way of Jandi and trigger Jonah’s panic attack & them becoming an official “couple,” but the fact of the matter is WALKER AND ANDI HAD WAY MORE CHEMISTRY THAN ANDI AND JONAH **EVER** DID. Walker was an AMAZING character. He was kind to Andi, clearly really into her, they had so much in common. He was extraordinarily nice to her and to Cyrus, he was funny and sweet and just a really cool, charismatic character in a way we hadn’t really seen on the show yet. 

Something I loved about Walker was just… he was so respectful and did not let jealousy get in the way of how he treated Andi?? Like, when she told him she had a boyfriend now, he was still like “here keep the custom shoes I MADE YOU,” and “it’s cool, I get it, see you around” like he was CLEARLY upset because again, he really liked her, but he was incredibly mature for a 14 year old boy and handled it really well.

Then, Wuffy happened, and everything was destroyed. It was pretty OOC for Walker to get over Andi that quickly. It was very clear to me that he was really into her! He designed her shoes and made a painting with her and sketched her!!!!! They had so much in common, they made a great pair, and frankly the only reason Andi didn’t go for it was because Jonah came and asked her to be a couple, which was ~what she had always wanted~, so she just went with it. (AND ITS SO IRONIC BC LOWKEY JONAH DIDN’T WANT TO BE A LABEL ANYWAYS HE ONLY DID IT BC HE WAS AFRAID OF LOSING ANDI FOREVER IM SCREAMING GOODBYE) 

About the prom-posal thing, Walker was clearly a hopeless romantic so to me, his prom-posal didn’t actually seem that out of character, nor was Buffy’s reaction to it (because she’s not a hopeless romantic and she doesn’t like big things like that). What was out of character was that they even got together in the first place. Walker and Buffy were not a good pair at all and it was one of the more out-of-left-field decisions the show made. It was p clear it was only made bc the show was nervous that they wouldn’t get Garren back to play Marty, and they wanted Buffy to have some love interest: TJ was already gonna be with Cyrus, so they were probably like “okay Jonah’s has to be with Andi and Buffy can be with Walker, sick” but then when they found out they could get Garren back they were already in p deep with Wuffy and so they had to figure out a way to have Buffy drop Walker and go to Marty without looking like a shitty person. SO IN ORDER TO DO THAT, they assassinated Walker’s character. They had Buffy say that Walker made her shoes and Buffy and Andi started joking about how “there are probably so many girls walking around wearing his shoes ew gross he’s such a player” and IM LIKE/?????

First of all, it was OOC to make Walker make shoes for Buffy: shoe-making for girls isn’t like a common flirting tactic, it was CLEARLY something Walker had tailored for Andi because of her great fashion sense and the painting they made together. Like, it would make no sense from his POV to make shoes for Buffy lmao. AND NOW ON TO THE PART THAT MAKES ME MOST FURIOUS OF ALL: THE HYPOCRITICALNESS WAS ***INSANE***

BECAUSE HERE THEY ARE DRAGGING WALKER FOR APPARENTLY BEING A “PLAYER” BC HE WAS WITH 2 GIRLS, MEANWHILE YOU HAVE JONAH FUCKING BECK STANDING RIGHT THERE, WHO KISSES A DIFFERENT GIRL EVERY WEEK?? LIKE ARE YOU SHITTING ME? 

ALSO… the fact that the boy of color gets labeled a player and is discarded but the cute white boy gets away with 10x that and is still seen as a protagonist/ guy worth being a love interest???? just… that didn’t sit super well with me :( no hate towards Jonah I love my boy, but if they were gonna call Walker out on something as small as that, they should have been dragging Jonah way more than they did.

They go on runs to protect the child if they feel even the slightest threatened no matter where. If the child needs them to go on vacation with them, they do. Bikers come from across the nation to watch over and take shifts for these kids. And the best part is once you’re adopted into this family as a BACA kid, you’re always one. Even when you’re 40 and the perp gets released from jail, they’ll come meet with you and find your best options for avoiding the person and maintaining the life you’ve built for yourself. Once a BACA child, always a BACA child. In Florida, there’s 100% rate for identifying the perp based on the child’s testimony. Why? Because BACA stands with the child and supports the child so they feel comfortable enough to point out their attacker.

They’re in Canada as well and probably other countries. I met and talked with a native guy who runs the place near me. His name is Shaman. I got in, and I’m considered a BACA child now. Despite being 17, turning 18 when I talked to them. They spent time with me when my abuser was over, they gave me therapy resources. They give you something called a ‘level 1′ where they go to your house with as many bikers as they can, i shit you not a solid 20-40 bikers came from even out of province, and met me. I got to choose my biker name and I got a vest with patches on it and my name on it. They all hugged a Teddybear before giving it to me, and told me if I ever felt the BACA bear was running out of love, to give them a call and they’d refill it for me, and then I got a ride on one of their bikes. Just a day or so ago I went to an annual party with them and they we ate food one of them cooked and had a lot of laughs. 

I’ve never felt as loved as I did being a part of the BACA family. They also gave me dog tags with the names, and phone numbers of my 2 workers.  So I can call them whenever I feel scared. 

BACA is an absolutely wonderful group that will do everything in it’s power to help any child whos been abused. 

And it doesn’t end when you’re 18 either. As long as you get in contact/get your level 1 before you’re 18? you’re ALWAYS a BACA kid. I’m 18 now and they still invite me to parties, ask me if I’m okay, and are there for me. They’re still trying to find me resources for therapy. 

BACA has changed my fucking life.
