I haven't said it in awhile but
It's an opinion that I will stand ten toes down always.
Yall can say the manga is rush all you want.
I would rather spend 10-14 acts each arc which is 5 story arcs over the span of 60 acts them figuring out shit about their enemies then spend 35-40 episodes a season which is five seasons over the span of 200 episodes of them not figuring out shit until the last possible minute.
Everyone in the manga feels like they got a gotdamn brain and actually use it which is why I love it so much as well. The 90’s anime treats everyone like they lost so many damn brain cells and only get them back when the plot permits is. Yes they are teenagers that are growing but when shit seem sus they know it’s sus and not act like it aint sus. Usagi knows shit aint sus and 2 plus 2 equals 4 even if she doesn’t like math. The 90’s anime wouldn’t let Usagi do that for shit.
It's a breath of fresh air reading the manga and the senshi are figuring out who Tomoe, the Death Busters ,and Uranus and Neptune are and its not taking almost the whole season to figure it all.
The Senshi Moto: You are suspicious as hell and are considered an enemy until proven otherwise.

Until you are proven to be an ally by the senshi, you are the enemy.
Minako Aino LIVED by that moto to a fault. She wasn't the leader of the senshi for nothing.
Usagi flat out asked Haruka was she a Sailor Guardian in Act 28 because realized she looked like the mask senshi she just freaking met the night before." Haruka had to laugh to stop herself from gagging cause how quick she clocked her being a senshi.
Yeah she was laughing trying to play it off but she was like this in the inside.
USAGI APPLIED PRESSURE ON HER!
Usagi is no where near dumb like another version tried to make her out to be and is observant as fuck in the manga.
She literally was like "Damn I should have figured out he was Tuxedo Mask earlier by his eyes." in act seven.
Mamo straight up found out info about Tomoe with Mic's help which didn't take until the end of the season to figure out about him.
Senshi in the Manga: Yep! New Enemy Alert. Let's get to work and find out everything we can on them so we can stop them. This person is sus. Lets find out some information on them. ( Find out who the enemy is during the course of the arc by actively looking for information on the enemy which they fully know who they are up against before the main battle which either Usagi or them takes out the subvillians during the course of the arc then Usagi takes out the big bad with their help of their combined powers.)
Senshi in the 90's anime: Usagi we got to figure who the new enemy is! Stop eating or sleeping and pay attention. ( "Pretends" to be looking for information on the enemy while acting like Usagi aint pulling her weight but doesn't found out who the enemy truly is until the season is almost over which Usagi takes out all the MoTD's by herself with them doing attacks to "distract" the MoTD not kill them during the course of the season and then Usagi take out the big bad by herself.)
Naoko treat her characters like people with common sense and not walking embarrassments.
Like they actually get on their job being senshi but I guess the fact we ain't spending five or six acts them doing " normal" things yall act like they don't have no personality, character development, no friendships, and is just there.
Even tho Naoko show them doing normal things like hanging out at the crown eating or playing games, celebrating each other birthdays, going to concerts, going the amusement park, and ect.
The girls literally went to the mountains to find Rei so they could celebrate her birthday with her. Mako wanted make a cake and have a party for Rei and was upset thinking that she couldn't because she was in the mountains.
They celebrated Mako and Mina Birthdays together while having a Christmas Party at the crown.
Mic: I don't like this lipstick. Oo! A comet!
Sets: It looks great on you stop it! Pick up the pace!
Har: We are going to be late and they going to get us for being late. Let's take a taxi.
Har and Mic: Happy Birthday Mina and Mako!!

Yall can scream " They have no personality, character development, or Usagi get everything while they get nothing, the senshi don't do nothing, the villains die to quickly and any else yall say about the manga to the high heavens and I still believe the manga is better.
PGSM is the GOAT for character development not the 90's anime..
I did use majority of Infinity arc to prove my point not only because I'm reading that arc at this moment but because the simple fact that arc is considered as the fandom darling and where most people considered Naoko at her best but will sit here and play in that woman face constantly saying that she can't write and the senshi doesn't have any personality or character development.
