And ever since he was a kitten, when I first caught him peeing in the bathtub and he sae me use the shower to clean it out, he has been doing this whenever he wants a faucet turned on

Tub, sink, shower, whatever- he will climb on in. Scratch scratch scratch. LOOK at me. Then do it again

I learned this was intentional when I taught him the word "water", and after that whenever I caught him scratching I'd say "water?" and he'd stop to run over to the spigot and stare at it in anticipation like the strange little freak he is.

Well it's been a few years. I keep the bathroom sink filled when it's out of use because whenever it's empty he gets upset. I have learned to live around this

Tonight he didn't get to watch the bathtub drain because he was playing with a can downstairs. By the time he was done the bath was empty and I was getting dressed.

And so he began to scratch.

"No", I told myself. "I just got dry. I am not turning the shower on now. Not this time."

I saw him stop. Look back at me. Then resume scratching.

I left to throw my towel in the laundry.

Then I came back.

And I heard a plop.

My friends. Family. Compatriots.

I pulled back the curtain to find my son dropping STEAMING HOT LOGS in my MOTHER FUCKING BATHTUB
