How to Protect Your Feet and Heels:

Use silicon cushions your shoes. Test your heels and take note of what areas tend the hurt the quickest/most during wear and then purchase shoe padding (silicone or foam) to pad your heels. I usually pad my the area around my toes.

After prolonged wear you will notice that your calves and feet will be swollen. What I like to do is put my feet in a foot bath and cover my calves with cooling packs. Before I go to bed, I rub aloe vera gel into my calves and feet.

Whenever I buy heels I usually check if the sole is padded enough for me. If not I will buy padded sole inserts of have a cobbler replace the sole with a padded sole for me.

If you notice the soles of your heels starting to wear down, get them replaced as soon as possible. 

Regularly get your feet done. Prolonged pressure on your feet can have them looking and feeling quite rough getting your feet pedicured regularly (every 2 weeks) can help keep your feet looking and feeling soft.

Regularly exfoliate your feet (twice a week). Soak your feet in hot water. Rub the body scrub into your feet and then rinse with hot water. Dry brush your feet (especially your heel and sole). Warm up cocoa butter and rub generously into feet then put your feet in cling film (aka, saran wrap or plastic wrap) for 20 minutes.

Before wearing your heels out of the house, break them in. I like to do that by cooking in heels (it also makes me feel like a sexy housewife but that’s another topic) and cleaning in heels (I wrap them in plastic bags to protect them). This also helps with my ability to walk in heels with great stability.

If you are going to wear heels for a prolonged period of time get your heels in a bigger size (lengthwise and width). This is because, when your feet swell, they expand. If your feet become tight in your heels they will become unbearable to walk in.

Even though I am a tall woman (178 cm/5′10) I love to incorporate wearing heels into my everyday life, because of the benefits I listed above. I usually opt for wearing:

3-inch heels for everyday activities (going to classes, work, grocery shopping)

4-inch to 5-inch heels for parties and events

I know a lot of women, especially tall women, shy away from wearing heels as they believe they will look unattractive to men if they are taller than them. All I can say is that, for me, it’s never stopped them.

Based off of the picture guide above this is my personal opinion for which heels are best for which settings:

Evening Events (i.e. yacht parties, album release parties) - Stiletto, Pumps, Platforms, Peep Toe, Pin, Sandals, T-Strap, Ankle Strap, Slingback

Day Events (i.e. Wimbledon, Royal Ascot) - D’Orsay, Stiletto, Pumps, Sandals, Ankle Straps, Peep Toe, Open Toe, T-Strap, Slingback

Formal daily life (i.e. work, school) - D’Orsay, Stiletto, Mary Jane, Ankle Strap, Pumps, Block, Kitten, Cone

Informal daily life (i.e. school, shopping, picnics) - Ankle Strap, Chunky, Clogs, Cone, D’Orsay, Mule, Open Toe, Sandals

Shoes I never wear - Lobster Claw, Curved, Spool, Wedge, Gladiator

Honorable Mentions - Lace-Up Heels, High Heel Boots, Ankle Boots

General Tips

Make sure your toe nails are neat and well-maintained if wearing heels that expose them

Make sure your feet are not cracked and well oiled/moisturised (especially the heel area)

Make sure you match your heel’s colour to your outfit’s colour and skin tone

When in doubt go for black heels if your outfit is dark and tan/cream heels if your outfit is colourful

For evening events/informal events: If your outfit is quite “out there” try to go for a simpler heel design and vice versa

Bart made the impulsive decision to play in front of his entire school with the help of his cousin Jenni on the saxophone, after the artist was knocked out.

But first of all Bart had no idea how to do it, so he starts off with a mess. However, as is well known, he can learn new skills too quickly (and we can actually see how he generates smoke from the guitar at such speed).

So from one moment to the next it goes from being a disaster to everyone loving the performance on stage. (actually I just realized that Bart was sweating from the effort lol)

I think I’ve seen this panel like a hundred times and I never notices how far over they moved her head so it doesn’t block her boobs, or how weirdly angled the boobs are themselves so they’re both so prominently in shot 

Hint for the artist: the pattern is shoulder boob neck boob shoulder, not shoulder boob boob neck. I know it’s hard to remember >//<

In case you didn’t notice:

•her left arm is small

•her left leg is placed awkwardly between the boobs. I cannot say where it should go, but definitely not there (connect it to the butt and pelvis in your mind and you will see. Maybe it should be closer in?)

•the boobs face upward, hence it looks like her boobs are sideways

•her head is facing from a back view, most body parts are not

•do not get me started on the right arm because I really really don’t know where to start

•all body parts are angled differently, and no not because she’s not standing directly still, because some are slightly to the right and others are slightly to the left when all should be the same angle but different directions/poses

•The hair/head looks like a separate entity because of the different angles and the fact that it can’t blend with any of them so it just does it’s own thing

•The black spots in the hair when it goes inward. I don’t know why but it feels wrong

•The neck is elongated or in the wrong place

•she doesn’t have a left shoulder probably

•she has one singular tiny buttox

•Her hair might be in one of those old updos because there’s a bulge

•The right leg is also kinda small, especially since it’s smaller than the left one, which is supposed to be further away by the angle. Sorry, I keep saying angle like there is a particular angle or direct any of her body parts are going. Also it’s at a slightly different angle than the left one

•She does not have a back, or it is higher than it’s supposed to be

•probably more that I’m missing
