Some Doodles of Shirako, my Sushi Pack OC! Featuring Tako Maki showing off a painting to him, and even Lieutenant Gadget from Gadget & The Gadgetinis on the cover of a doujinshi! (The cover reads "A Gadget's Gadgeteer Romance" by the way, and little bit of lore, Shirako made the doujinshi himself.)
A recap on the miscellaneous factoids about this sperm sac (that's literally what Shirako is, a cod's sperm sac):
SHIRAKO BULLET-POINT LIST #1
Much like Tako Maki, he is a creative type of person, but in terms of architecture, fashion, and in general has a knack for aesthetics. And only on occasion utilizes feng shui but not to its accurate usage, which mildly annoys Maguro, but doesn't pay any mind to it.
Out of all the characters, he has the most common sense, using logic when the pack needs it most. Despite that common sense, he ain't no straight man or everyman, that's for sure.
As previously-mentioned, he has an alter ego/alternate persona named "Milty" who emerges when he crossdresses. Milty even has her own voice, which I headcanoned to be Cree Summer's. (Which voice? Well, it could literally be anybody, it just depends on the time of day for him...)
When he isn't Milty, though, his general headcanon voice is Steve Blum, with a voice cross between Wolverine, Starscream, Spike Spiegel, and Heatwave, y'know, the "Steve Blum" voice. (Also, why he'd have two voices makes no sense, but as I said, it's for fun.)
Though not shown in the artwork, he has a pair of headphones and a music-player which is his most prized possessions. He listens to a lot of music, and often does song covers for himself, even aspiring to be a musician like the people he listened to. His favorite bands are Midori Day (parody of Green Day), Cry Out Girl (parody of Fall Out Boy), Complex of a Frown (parody of System of a Down), Digit Twelve (parody of Finger Eleven), and many others. If he were to be around in the modern day, he would most definitely have a few Vocaloid songs in there... No wait, there's quite a bit of Vocaloid in the 2000s, but you'd get the gist. (Now that I think about it, he might have ONE Dr. Steel song, purely for the vibes.)
SHIRAKO BULLET-POINT LIST #2:
Avid reader of fanfiction, especially fan-comics/doujinshi. He often collects them because he likes them. Especially the more "saucier" ones that he tries to hide from the others.
When someone asks about a cartoon or a piece of media, he would be knowledgeable about it to address who the characters are and what the premise is about. (This is only prevalent for an Inspector Gadget crossover, only because both shows were by DiC Entertainment.)
SHIRAKO BULLET-POINT #3 (DETAILS THAT EXPAND ON PREVIOUS DETAILS IN THE OTHER LISTS):
He writes and self-publishes his own doujinshi at various Comiket-like spaces, but mainly writes saucier doujins for himself and himself alone, especially doujins about Inspector Gadget, or really, Lieutenant Gadget. (Due to the Sushi Pack cartoon being released in 2007, and Gadget & The Gadgetinis being released in 2002, even though that design for Gadget that was used in the show debuted in 1999 with Inspector Gadget's Last Case. But in general, both shows were in the 2000s, so it would make sense.)
Unrelated to Shirako, but still in the same lane, I like to believe that Wharf City and Metro City are miles away from each other, being rather close cities for there to be a good excuse for a crossover. I mean, if Shirako ain't a Gadget fan to be the key for this crossover of mine, then Ikura or someone else on the team would be. (Also, I bet Penny Gadget and Kani Maki would get along thanks to their shared understandings of technology... I think.)
I have yet to draw his crossdressing persona "Milty", but for now, what do you think, Sushi Pack fans? Do we fw him? Would y'all draw him interacting with your own Sushi Pack OCs? Do tell! I'd love to hear the yapping...
