Obv Three hasn't gone thru all of its character development yet, but the current fandom take on it is that Three is a sociable softie who loves nature and learning.
Which is very adorable, and as textually supported as anything can be. But I propose:
--Three canonically tries to get SecUnit to wear its armor by pointing at it for two minutes without saying a word
--SecUnit canonically pulls a lot of things it says directly from Sanctuary Moon, which it has watched thousands of hours of, and Three hasn't
--Three is into documentaries and nonfiction
--Three is used to working with other SecUnits
Thus,
Three rarely speaks, but when it does, it's basically *David Attenborough voice*. When Three and SecUnit are working together and SecUnit forgets to tell the humans what it's doing, Three (who hasn't said a word in the past six hours) suddenly says, "Your SecUnit is currently attempting a hack on nearby drones. This has a high probability of success, but there is always the chance that these drones have had their security features altered. ...and there, these drones are now under our control. Our path forward is clear, but we will continue to use caution," like it's narrating Blue Planet

MURDERBOT DIARIES FANDOM DISCORD TIRE FIRE, my contribution. yes i will drop names.
Fandom history time since the fanlore page for the murderbot diaries is locked as of this posting in July 2026, and therefore it will be neigh impossible to add the actual fan lore that the New Tideland murderbot diaries server is creating. Y'know, the thing that Fan Lore is for. Recording the lore of a fandom.
(I will admit i am a fan on the side of no ships for murderbot unless its friendships. People can however do whatever they want until they make things uncomfortable or unsafe for others. Curate your own internet to avoid things you don't want to see, which i have done.) (this does not include racism. That should not be something you have to curate around.)
img 1 of ?: in nov of 2025 i was lurking until i saw this person ask a logical question that I could answer.(who has since been banned from NT despite being a lovely person that truly never caused drama that i saw and just wanted to ship their ship of mb/mensah. they have since created their own niche server and several people left NT that were also interested in that ship.) Having been in the fandom since 2020 and witnessed the history, I provided what I think is unbiased truth of what happened.
Don't worry, lets keep going.
my biased comment about this: this is also occurred in a thread where other members of NT were discussing the murderbot fanlore page and were doing back and forth conflicting updates against the edits that fans in from the OG murderbot server "2.0" were adding to correct whatever NT was adding to make themselves and their main ship look better/more popular. The people that resented the fact that the 'shipping container' on the 2.0 server were gamebird, boppinrobin, and rosewind, from my recollection. Rosewind is the most egregious as she made a point to message new members to praise the lord gurathin and how he was in love with murderbot and that was the only explanation. I've had her blocked since before NT was created and also she's been on this stint even before murderbot was a white man on the TV show, and she only had Gurathin as fandom possible white man. (He is not a white man in the show, but I guess close enough for some people.)
img 2: I am not redacting the mod's name from this screenshot, as you should be able to stand behind your words as a mod of a server that wants to be the biggest and bestest server with the most ships. I hardly ever posted in NT, as i am a natural lurker. But I am "a member of 2.0" and not fond of mb/gurathin therefore have a scarlet A. Honestly before this, I didn't have time to be in multiple servers and be present, so I don't know wtf this mod is talking about. I even went back and searched all 100ish posts I made, and I still don't know wtf they mean.
Speculations in re racism:
img 3: may/june of this year, a few fans started the discussion about how it feels like gurathin is inserted into every convo and also has the most channels dedicated to ships with him in it, despite the characters of color, especially Mensah, are not treated the same. This got shuffled into a thread to get it off a main channel. (I noticed this is a pattern of behavior on the NT mod's part. Hiding what they don't want others to see.) The mods repeatedly asked for receipts, then disregarded info when presented to them, and then would ask again. As far as I can tell, the conversation went nowhere and members were unsatisfied.
img 4/5:Around that same time as above I realized the link to my tiny murderbot server (here) was removed from their list of other murderbot servers. I figured the link had expired and generated a new one, which was deleted again and then I got a message via their ticketing system from gamebird informing me that my server has members that have been negative about NT. I asked for names/screenshots/any info for me to address behavior specifically on my server. I got none and dropped the issue after checking to make sure the link to 2.0 was still available, as my server is linked there.
my biased comment about this: there are only 3 people as of this writing that are banned from my server. Only 1 of them is a NT mod. Take that as you will. I find it WILD that gamebird would think that I delete things that others have posted. Unlike the NT mods, I do not delete messages I merely dislike, because I do not consider myself the moderator of the entire fandom.

img 6: i asked a friend to search for my name in NT, to see if my most recent messages were deleted. (Now my most recent messages only show me be excited about my tiny zucchini plants in their offtopic channel.)
Those messages were me responding politely to gamebird in the thread addressing racism, when she said that mods have "never reverted messages" when a message from a member was posted, then edited afterward. I asked if there was a setting to revert another account's message that I should be able to see on my server, and have missed. I was also curious if the servers labeled as Community servers had different settings.
She backtracked and said that it wasn't what she meant.
Then my account was assigned an Unusual Activity tag that removes my ability to see any of the server at all. I assume so they can quarantine members they dislike without removing them entirely, as the mods are overwhelmingly invested in the number of members they have, so they can say they are the biggest server. I asked for receipts that they could not provide, as I haven't spoken negatively about NT in NT.
In their effort to create the biggest server and to do everything different than 2.0, they lack the mods to effectively moderate, they lack the people skills to manage conflict and concerns of their members, and are not addressing the lowkey racism concerns by their members.
But thank god they have gurathin shipped with everyone as long as it includes murderbot and doesn't include people of color.
Overall, I would like to thank the mods for removing me from NT. My appreciation of how hard the 2.0 mods work has increased thricefold since, and I hope one day NT can reach the level of moderation in the 2.0 server.
If you would like a link to 2.0, feel free to message me. They like to manage how many members they get at a time, so they can moderate effectively. It's actually a lovely place where any dispute is handled with grace. Lurkers are welcome in both my server and 2.0, and ace/aro voices are heard and welcomed.
