Why is it that every time I google something like "Are olives poisonous to cats" the top results are always like "Fun fact: Cats are carnivores! This means that they eat meat. There is no reason to include olives in a cat's diet. You should feed your cat cat food, which is dry or wet food especially designed for cats. I've been using the pet poison hotline's poison list cause it has a search function. It also tells you whether something is mildly, moderately, or severely toxic which can be very handy! It doesn't contain like everything but it might be a good place to start, it also includes plants for fellow houseplant lovers <3

Pro-censorship wattpad refugees drama is so funny to me because when I started using ao3 as a kid I was a devout mormon and I thought that reading anything even remotely pornagraphic was a sin and would ruin my life. So when I was 13 and found ao3 I went "oh awesome I found a fanfic website with a filtering system so I won't ever randomly stumble into porn. This is great! I was really worried about seeing something I didn't want to see on the other platforms." I didn't read any smut online until like three years later. If a mormon 13 year old can figure out 'don't like don't read' wattpad users can too cmon you guys i believe in you.

I cannot stand the parodies of modern major general, they're overdone and simply not as good as the original. They've done them about everything, whatever topic, big or small.
And when i notice one of them my eyes will always start to roll.
The diction's always slurry when they rush the complicated words, and adding many fricatives will turn it so cacophonous. The slanted rhymes are silly and they keep just making more and more, please someone stop the parodies of modern major general.
The scanning of the lyrics in the meter is unbearable, they emphazise the syllables in ways that are untenable, in short in matters musical, prosodic and ephemeral, i cannot stand the parodies of modern major general!

“But, ah, back to what I was trying to say. Are you all right?” he did manage to inquire, sickly-pale face so concerned.
Mobius couldn’t help the utterly disbelieving sound that escaped him. “Are you seriously asking me that right now? Seriously?” His voice was a little pitchy, carrying a little less of that forced calm. Sue him. He was worried and–and Loki was ridiculous. Stupidly ridiculous, even.
“I am asking that, actually, yes,” Loki evenly remarked–as evenly as his hoarse, shaky voice could currently reflect, at least–and even though his gaze still didn’t quite land, he managed to reach forward with a trembling hand, ever so lightly pressing too-cool fingertips to Mobius’s cheek, soft, delicate. “You were crying out, frantic. I was worried. I’m allowed that, aren’t I?” he questioned, hesitant, his hand falling back away to his side.
Mobius groaned out a frustrated sigh, swallowing back his initial urge to say no, actually, not at all, he would be the one doing the worrying thank you very much. So that was probably a little unreasonable of him. “Sure, of course you’re allowed to worry. But wasting the energy you don’t even have on a bad dream? Did it not occur to you to just wake me up the good old fashioned way?” he finally questioned instead, and yet he couldn’t manage much strength to his tone. Not with Loki’s pale face, the pain lingering in his fatigued eyes.
“I tried the ‘old fashioned way,’ I'll have you know. It’s hardly my fault you sleep like the dead. I couldn’t get you to wake,” Loki retorted, somehow managing a pointed tone even with his voice hoarse and cracking. “I knew you wouldn’t like it, but I was worried, and after everything that happened, it felt like the least I could do, I…” Loki groaned, eyes closing, head leaning down as he swallowed thickly, so obviously queasy. “It–we both already knew this was going to happen, Mobius. I just–just decided when. Now or later. Does it make a difference, truly?”
Inevitable. Mobius bit down on his lower lip, forcing out a deep breath through his nose. He couldn’t argue with it, nor could he really fault his partner for wanting some agency in his own tumultuous health.
Didn’t make it hurt any less.

ive mosty been editing the last couple days, this bit comes a little earlier than sundays snippet
Loki hadn't anything of value on them, except perhaps the horse, and no reason to hurry back. So, they agreed and waited for the cart to be lifted back onto the road before walking the mare forward so that she could be hooked up to it.
It wasn't until she gave a little start, that Loki realized one of the men had instead crept up too close behind them, some kind of blunt weapon in hand.
But it was too late to prevent the blow that would knock them out.
The bespectacled man grimaced, grabbing hold of the reigns of the spooked horse, as the highwaywoman caught its rider by the shoulders and shifted them to lay across its neck.
"Listen…" he began hesitantly, "I'm getting pretty uncomfortable with all this."
"Well," she sighed, tugging the reigns from his grip and soothing the animal, "that sounds like it's going to be a problem, when it comes time to kill them, later."
"Yeah…" He pursed his lips. "I'm pretty uncomfortable with that, too…"
"Me too," the other man spoke up, frowning. "I mean… we don't really have to kill them, do we?"
"That's what we're getting paid for!" She huffed in exasperation. "Look, just leave the tough stuff to me. For now, lets focus on getting them back to the boat."
listen, none of the characters in the entire fic are a good 1 - 1 match for who i wanted them to be, so i've had to get pretty creative 🤣
