Lokius Week Day 1: Jealousy, Thy Name Is...

With the frantic energy that'd come upon Mobius in the archive, that was the rushed question on his lips as soon as he entered the time cell he'd left Loki in. He was forced to slow down for a second, though, when he didn't immediately see the god in question.
"Loki?" Mobius questioned, casting his eyes around the cell.
It didn't take long to locate him. As soon as Mobius looked down, he found him. Huddled on the ground, Loki was curled in upon himself, his hair fanned over his knees, groaning lowly. He hadn't acknowledged Mobius' presence yet. It was possible he wasn't even aware of his presence.
A little late, Mobius realized exactly why Loki might find it rather difficult to stand, recalling which memory he'd left him in for…how many loops now?
Wincing (for more than one reason), he rushed to Loki's side and crouched to get an arm around him. "Hey," he whispered, finally gaining his attention, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry…"
"Mobius?" Loki mumbled as he was helped to his feet.
"Yeah, it's me," Mobius replied, guiding him across the room towards a (mercifully) padded bench, "I'm sorry I left you in here for so long. Actually…sorry for putting you in here in the first place." As they sat down together, he kept his arm around Loki's waist, perhaps thinking he could somehow undo the damage that had been done that way. Whether subconsciously or not, it was undeniable that they sat closer than would be considered proper or expected of work colleagues, but Mobius didn't seem to notice, or care. "You were right," he hurried on, grip tightening with the fervency of his words, "You were right about everything. And I acted like a jerk; you didn't deserve this."
Still trying to catch his breath, Loki nevertheless listened carefully as Mobius spoke. He remained dubious at first, but with each word from the analyst, he could sense that something had changed in him. That some of the man he'd been growing close to before the disastrous night at the Roxxcart had returned, along with a brand new rebellious streak in him. It was intoxicating. Impossible for Loki to resist. So he didn't.
Subtly leaning into Mobius' touch, he slumped to rest his chin upon his shoulder as he let out a weary sigh. "I must say: your choice of memory prison was an…interesting one."
"You call gettin' kicked in the nuts by Lady Sif 'interesting'?" Mobius asked, incredulous.
Loki hummed. "Not so much the memory itself as the fact that it's what you chose," he corrected, a tiny smirk crossing his lips, "One would think you were a jealous lover."
Almost instantly, Loki could nearly feel the heat of the blush that covered Mobius' face. "I dunno what you're talkin' about…"
