More people need to hack for good causes. If you aren’t making corporations shit themselves in terror what is even the point? 

Like imagine how many lives could completely turn around if only someone managed to toast some servers containing student loan information.

What’s sad to me about this is that I’ve noticed a lot of people saying they “can’t” do art, or dance, or sing. That because it’s turned into a profitable vocation, and thus has some implied heirarchy to it (ie: there are ‘master artists’, and ‘professional singers and dancers’), people feel shame for not “living up to unattainable standards,” when in reality, art for humans is very therapeutic and good for the soul.

Honestly the best piece of advice I can give to younger girls trying to figure life out is to completely ignore men. I’m not being quirky or cute when I say that, I mean it seriously. Ignore men’s judgments of you, ignore their insincere compliments, ignore their half-assed romance. Focus on developing yourself. Practice your art, play sports, do theater, volunteer, spend time with your friends, but do not put substantial effort into pleasing men. They’ll be there for you to pursue when the time comes and if you want to. But nothing will waste your youth more than fighting for male acceptance.

if you are in high school and you follow me idc if you learn nothing else from me, but learn this: do not join the fucking military. they will promise you all sorts of things in exchange for joining their muder-system for a few years. do not listen to them. you won’t find a sense of purpose, you won’t find an adventure, you might not even get the money they promise you for college. if you survive, you’ll come back with blood on your hands, feeling just as aimless as before except knowing you’re a killer. the government will drop you like hot potatoes the second you are not useful to them, and you will be on your own with nothing but some ptsd and a more intimate understanding of the phrase “blood for oil.”

Especially important for you guys to know now that schools letting out and those scholarships they offer can look tempting

stop thinking about her, stop thinking about him. you have so much more exciting and interesting things to think about!! life is happening right before your eyes!! they are not any more significant than the rain coming down today or the flowers that will bloom tomorrow.
