Definitely, Totally Real Ninetales Facts
(Made by a Ninetales for the uneducated)
When a Ninetales turns 100 years old they grow a tenth tail. The reason the tail has never been observed is that it quickly falls off and grows into a baby Vulpix.
The paw pads of a Ninetales have properties similar to the non-stick coating of a frying pan.
There are actually both Ninetales and Ninetails. Be careful! They will be incredibly offended at being referred to as the other species, but are impossible to distinguish. They can tell which one you're saying.
One kind of Ninetales always tells the truth, the other always lies. It is up to you to determine which is which.
Have you ever wondered what the darker colouration on the end of a Ninetales' tails is? I̸t̡'̾s̡ ̴b̴l̸o̾o̜d̾.̡
Alolan Ninetales aren't actually white, they're just covered in snow from their ability.
Ninetales tails can be used for complex non-verbal communication. However, none can agree on what moving a specific tail in a specific way actually means.
Ninetales tails are remarkably strong for their size! It's not uncommon for a Ninetales to walk about on them like an Octillery!
Ninetales can swing their tails fast enough to lift themselves in the air.
There has never been any evidence of a Ninetales being envious of human hands. Stop saying that.
The reason there is only one Yveltal around is because Ninetales hunted it's species.
Many top tier trainers get accused of being Zoroarks that are disguised. This is inaccurate. They're Ninetales in disguise. This is why Cynthia is blonde.
Ninetales secretly have the psychic type, they just all agreed that it's funny to not tell humanity this.
Rock types are a conspiracy created to get pictures of Ninetales wearing booties.
A Ninetales is always watching you, they are confused about your choices, but support them.
The real reason that the Ninetales god tried to steal the rainbow from Ho-oh was to share it with the queers.
There are currently over 35,000 different genders of Ninetales.
While known for their curses, Ninetales are also capable of blessings. Give your local Ninetales an offering today to experience one.
Zoroark are just Ninetales that went goth.
In a similar respect, Thievul are just Ninetales who turned to a life of crime, and Delphox are just Ninetales that became witches. Or furries. Or both.
You can put a whole Egg in a Ninetales' mouth and it will come out hard boiled.
Ninetales used to be dark types, but Theivul stole their typing cause that's kinda their whole thing.
Despite Ninetales not being Psychic type, they are capable of telepathy. They use this primarily to communicate with their trainers, obtain treats, and learn your search history.
At least 10% of Ninetales Curse victims claim they did it on purpose. Most of them were not transformed like they thought they would be.
If you help a Vulpix, a Ninetales will help you with a personal problem.
Ninetales are physically incapable of taking an unprotected treat if told not to. They're also physically incapable of writing.
Ninetales actually only have one tail, itâs just one tail thatâs moving incredibly fast.
All Ninetales are actually 3 Vulpix in a trenchcoat. We don't know where the other six tails go.
Alolan Ninetales originated from a snow sculpture that was brought to life.
A ninetales can spontaneously dissolve into many Spinaraks.
When chasing their tail, if a Ninetales catches it, they curse themselves.
Ninetales used to be psychic types, but Delphox stole their typing out of jealousy.
Ninetales never steal because Theivul would sue them for copy-write infringement.
Ninetales can hear a treat bag being opened from ten miles away. Run.
Ninetales developed Curses to protect themselves from weird people. It backfired when said weird people learned about transformations.
There is a single bipedal Ninetales somewhere out there. You'll know it when you see it.
Ninetails are not cute, and rather, should be highly feared and respected deities with awesome powers.
If you put a Ninetails and an Alolan Ninetails in a room together, you get a room-temperature Vulpix.
Ninetales swim by spinning their tails like a propellor. The Floatzel population sued them for this.
Do not bring up Floatzel with your Ninetails, as it is a touchy subject. (Copyright court battle that has been going on for way too long)
Ninetales can curl into a ball and roll at high speeds, becoming a circular blur. Despite this, their tails are still visible from the "rear" of the ball.
Pressing on a Ninetales' nose will cause it to open it's mouth. (to bite you)
Ninetales have pressure points that will involuntarily force them to shoot a Curse. In wartime, Kanto tried to use this as a weapon once.
There is no such thing as a Ninetales tail curse. This is a lie made up by Big Growlitheâ˘ď¸ to monopolize the fluffy tail market.
Ninetales only have one big tail instead of 9 smaller ones.
Alolan Ninetales are just furry Frosslass. This includes their origin.
There is a ninetales approaching your position rapidly. Do not run, you will only waste your energy.
Ninetales can never lie, for it would compromise their good girl⢠nature. Claims of the contrary are further propaganda spread by Big Arcanineâ˘.
Magic Bounce as an ability was developed to reflect Ninetales curses back at them. This is why there are few Ninetales in areas where Hatterene live.
In the beginning, Arceus made a typo and created a Nonetails. Itâs still out there⌠somewhere.
Some say you can flip a Ninetales and get a Nineheads. No survivors have been found of those testing this.
The underworld is said to be guarded by a three headed Ninetales.
There are 34 rules one must follow while taking care of a Ninetales. Search up Ninetales Rule 34 for more info.
No one has ever seen a hairless Ninetails. This is because all Ninetails are nevernudes.
Ninetales curses are a myth. There is no actual danger in touching a Ninetales' tail, promise~

MOTHER LET ME FIGHT
I am fucking crying
Itâs the last few seconds that really got me crying from laughing so hard!
I went to a lecture last night about charity and the panelists were all middle-aged or older. They talked about how thereâs a decline in giving amongst young people and offered up a few reasons they think that might be: selfishness, decline of religion, less confidence in charities. Not one of those panelists mentioned, ya know, NO ONE HAS MONEY. When they took comments from the audience, a guy in his 20s stood up and said, âDonât you think young people are giving less because they have less? I canât afford to pay my rent, how can I afford to donate money?â And they all sputtered. âButâbutââ Most of us in the audience were students and we all just stared back like wtf how do you get SO out of touch?
Not to mention thereâs a whole web of people online giving their last dollars to gofundmes so that each other can afford food and hospital bills, like just because our charitable giving doesnât manifest in the same way doesnât mean itâs not there

What you need to know about Trumpâs tax bill passing in the Senate (12/2/2017)
Late last night the Senate passed the âTax Cuts and Jobs Act,â which will become a massive overhaul of the tax code. The bill was being thrown together only hours before the vote and it was not re-evaluated by the Joint Committee on Taxation to analyze its full impact. However, the committeeâs analysis of the earlier version found it would add $1 trillion to the federal deficit over 10 years, even after factoring in economic growth.
Last Minute Changes Before Voting
There were last minute, handwritten changes on the bill that were made in private. This version did not have a public hearing, it was not released to the public, and Senators only had a couple hours to go over the bill before voting. Some complained that they couldnât even read what the bill said because handwritten additions were added all over the pages. A preliminary version of the final Senate bill was leaked to Sahil Kapur which you can read here. Or you can read this breakdown. Remember this likely wonât even be the final breakdown so keep an eye on changes.Â
The only republican to vote âNOâ was Bob Corker. Despite other republicans speaking out against the bill (Collins, McCain, Graham, etc) they were all eventually swayed into voting for the bill giving it the push it needed to pass 51 to 49.
Who Will Be Helped/Hurt By This Bill?
The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimated that the repeal of the individual mandate (which was squeezed into this bill) will lead to millions losing insurance. Itâs estimated that 4 million will lose it by 2019 and another 13 million by 2027. Itâs also estimated that about 1 million will lose their Medicaid by 2019 and another 5 million by 2027. Republicans claim that those figures and the fallout is exaggerated. But hereâs what some evidence shows:
This has major consequences for public health. When my colleague Julia Belluz dived into the evidence on the effect of health insurance on mortality, she found two particularly compelling studies, analyzing the effects that Massachusettsâs health reform law (which was very similar in structure to Obamacare) and Medicaid expansions in three states had on death rates. Extrapolating from those studiesâ findings, she found that 20 million people losing health insurance translates to anywhere between 24,000 and 44,000 extra deaths per year.
Using the smaller figure to be conservative, and extending it to the 13 million people who the CBO estimates would lose coverage under this tax bill, that means 15,600 extra deaths every year.Â
Wealthy people and corporations are the big winners here, who will see the majority of the benefits:Â
61.8 percent of the total federal tax change under the bill will go to the top 1 percent in 2027, its 10th year of implementation. They would get an average tax cut of $32,510, and the top 0.1 percent (who make at least $5.1 million a year) would get back $208,060 on average.
Overall, 50.3 percent of taxpayers see their taxes go up, with an average hike of $170; but 28 percent see their taxes go down, by $1,640 on average.
These percentages vary widely between income groups. Within the middle quintile, people earning $54,700 to $93,200 a year, 65.6 percent would see their taxes go up. But only about 1.8 percent of the very richest one-thousandth of Americans would see a tax hike.
And of course those hurt most by the bill will be:
The sick & Elderly -Â âCuts to Medicare will total about $25 billion over the next fiscal year alone. In the long term, the deficit will also force cuts to Medicaid and Social Security, two other programs that elderly people rely on heavily, in addition to low-income and disabled individuals.â (source)
Universities -Â âThe legislation takes the unprecedented step of taxing the income of certain private universitiesâspecifically, it imposes a 1.4 percent tax on net endowment income for universities with endowments larger than $250,000 per full-time student. Some commenters have applauded the tax, as if it would rectify everything they consider amiss with higher education in America. But few of those supporters have examined the measureâs dire consequencesârepercussions that would frustrate everything from access to college in America to the top-notch university research that creates U.S. jobs.â (source)
Grad Students -Â ââParticularly folks who are in graduate school are taking on student debt in order to go to graduate school, and so they have high payments going forward,â Hoene said. âAnd one of the ways that is off-set is through the deductions they get in the federal taxes, and that deduction would be going away.â Hoene also said that there are provisions in the bill that target higher education, and that could take away deductions from colleges and universities. (source)
Charities - âNew tax laws could strip away one of the key motivators of year-end giving in the United States - the right to take a tax deduction for the amount you give to qualified charities if you itemize your taxesâŚ.â ââŚWealthy individuals who give tens of thousands of dollars a year may not be impacted, because it will still make sense for them to itemize. But smaller donors who give hundreds or thousands could drop away. As of now, however, Schwab Charitable, which is one of the largest custodians of charitable accounts, has only seen a boom in giving.â (source)
Veterans -Â ââThere are a set of provisions in the GOP tax bills, both on House and Senate sides, that would actually take an exemption for the bonds that are used to fund the development of facilities for veterans, housing for hospitals, and for a variety of other public structures, Hoene said.âTaking away those exemptions, which has been what makes them an attractive investment, means that theyâll be less attractive investments to people who have the money to put into those sorts of things,â he added.â (source)
Freelance workers -Â âMany freelancer workers or small business owners who work from home can currently deduct certain items that they use for work (a computer, Internet, a workspace, etc), but that could also change under this bill. Some of those deductions will be going away if this passes.â (source)
People with disabilities -Â âThe Tax Cuts and Jobs Act recommends sweeping eliminations of most itemized tax deductions and credits. Many of these deductions, taken together, serve both to ease the tax burden of people with disabilities and to improve their health and access to employment and their communities. The provision that will have the most catastrophic effect on disabled people is the removal of the deduction for out-of-pocket medical expenses. Currently, if your out-of-pocket medical expenses exceed 10 percent of your adjusted gross income, you can deduct that from your tax bill. In the Jobs and Tax Cuts Bill, that provision is excised completely.â (source)
Victims of drink driving -Â âThis is a less well-known provision of the bill, but Senate Republicans are proposing slashing federal alcohol taxes across the board by about 16 percent, a cut affecting beer, wine, and liquor alike. There is voluminous economic evidence showing that higher alcohol taxes save lives by reducing binge drinking and thus reducing deaths due to drunk driving, liver cirrhosis, alcohol-fueled assault and domestic violence, and other causes. That suggests that lower alcohol taxes, in turn, increase deaths from those causes.â
Can We Still Do Anything?
Yes. Because of these changes the bill will have to go through the House and (likely) the Senate again. If you contact your congressmen Iâd suggest doing it now and continuing to do so until the next votes & decisions come over the weeks. This bill is NOT law yet and still has many steps to go through. Thereâs still time to call, email, etc.Â
Members of Congress are living off food stamps for a week to protest Republican cuts. Itâs a challenge for them, but GOP cuts would hurt millions of everyday Americans.Â
Why does this not have more publicity. This needs it!
I want a reality tv show where politicians have to live in poverty for a month. They have to live in Government housing, shop with food stamps, and get only a limited amount of money for clothes. Because here, they still have all their trappings, lilke nice cars and thousand dollar suits. I want them in Walmart jeans trying to determine if they can afford a carton of milk.Â
Give them a full calendar year. I want to see them confident in January, and sometime around June choking back tears at the Safeway because they are tired, so tired, of eating 25 cent cup noodles, eyeing other peoplesâ full grocery carts with a dull bewilderment. Let me see them despair because they have a persistent nagging cough that wonât go away and might be turning into pneumonia but the minute clinic is $60, which might as well be as six million dollars, either way they ainât got it to spare - and that doesnât count the cost of prescriptions. Let me hear them tell people about the muscle cramps they get at night due to eating non-nutritious garbage for months, the weakness from persistent hunger. Let them know the shame and frustration of only owning one pair of cheap polyester pants for work and one pair of thrift-store jeans, and both persistently have ripped crotches and seams coming undone, no matter how many times they get sewn back up. Let the women know the particular sort of despair that comes once a month when you canât afford even the cheapest pads or tampons. Let them understand the frustration of being charged a $35 fee for a $2 overdraft. Let them watch as the bank holds charges from different days in âpendingâ till they all come through on the same day, and the bank charges them four times for a single overdraft because âthe charges all cleared at the same timeâ. I want them to know the particular pain of having to decide between food for the week, or transportation costs to and from work. You canât have both. Choose wisely. You do not truly understand poverty until youâve lived it and a month isnât enough to encompass it. Not even close.
Iâd like to point out that actual studies have linked trans suicides to constant misgendering as a cause (one of, I should add), whereas affirmation of gender is known to do the opposite. So intentionally misgendering trans people is pretty much legit trying to kill them.
In other news, water is wet.
Where the study/source?
Iâm uber busy at work and I donât have the time to pull up the specific spot itâs discussed. But, look up the work of Dr. Ry Testa. Heâs a trans man tackling these issues.
Someone who knows how to navigate resources and has the spoons and time try and find the paper, save trans momma the trouble. Sounds super legit though. Being misgendered almost always causes some dissociation and social withdrawal form me since it belittles my identity. I donât get suicidal thoughts but I could sure as hell see how someone who does would be affected by that.
Hiya! Iâm hoping I could help somewhat. This is all the work Dr. Testaâs done.
Development of the Gender Minority Stress and Resilience Measure.
Effects of violence on transgender people. I think this is the one though; The relationship between gender-based victimization and suicide attempts in transgender people. Misgendering a trans person is a violent act. Itâs an emotional abuse that cuts deep into who we feel we are at our core. We have enough to deal with internally, adding external voices to that can destroy us.
@TERFs who insist misgendering is just âhurt feelingsâ
@ all the people who bring up trans suicide rates as a talking point in their transphobia

DoâŚonline companies not realize that repealing the FCC will affect them too? Sure, theyâll have to pay more to get faster internet access, but at the same time, we the consumers will be paying more, so if the ISPs went âonline shopping is $15 extra! :âDâ a lot of consumers will go âoh will you look at the time I have to make a run to Walmart to buy that item that I could have bought off of amazonâ because physically going to Walmart will be cheaper than amazon.
And like. The same applies for eBay. And Shutterfly. And every online online store. Theyâll suffer huge lossesâŚ
âŚJust so our ISPs could strangle $15 a month extra out of us.
And online gaming yâall. Everyone is gonna go for the âplay offlineâ games. Steam and Origin will take huge hits.
âŚ.So why arenât the CEOs opposing this? The ISPs are gonna screw everyone over if net neutrality dies, including them. Money from their end isnât gonna solve this. They need to step it up.
And like, technology too. Whos going to buy the latest tablet or phone if they cant play online games or access the internet?
What makes a smartphone more useful than a flip phone in that case? An ipad or galaxy tab will be completely useless without the internet. Electronic stores that specialize in computers and tablets and phones will lose out too.
Pretty sure no big company actually thought this through.
last i checked, a lot of companies like netflix DID oppose this, but i havenât heard from them in a while
Last time a lot of companies did a day of protest where they turned off their sites to spread awareness, or had a banner, or something.
This time everyone is strangely quietâŚ
Me choosing what to remove from my inventory when Iâm carrying too much:
