remaking this post again! this is a masterpost about the whole “should feminists ally with the right” debate. uk-centric because a lot of the writings (and tensions) are coming out of there. (personally i dont really like using language like “ally with” or “work with” because people get stuck in debating what constitutes “allyship”. i prefer talking about whether feminist orgs should “let the right set the agenda”. basically, keep your eyes open for orgs that start simping for the right to the point that they drop things that help women.)
