Fresh figs and tangy gorgonzola cheese make this Fig Gorgonzola Tart taste both sweet and savory. It has a flaky puff pastry crust on top of it all. It's a classy appetizer or light meal that's simple to make and great for any event.
Ingredients: 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed. 6 oz gorgonzola cheese, crumbled. 6 fresh figs, sliced. 2 tbsp honey. Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 400F 200C. Unroll the puff pastry sheet onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Crumble the gorgonzola cheese evenly over the pastry. Arrange the fig slices over the cheese. Drizzle honey over the figs. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed up. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves before serving.
