I would totally use actual pictures but I don’t have pictures of most of our family members or coworkers. I would do picrews but I tend to be a perfectionist in my craft and I’m not certain I would accurately represent some people as I don’t remember some of our family members’ faces (for example our paternal cousins that we rarely see but get mentioned in conversation). It would also be like 40 people to make a picrew for so it’s just a lot of time. I also can’t ask some of these people for photos cause they don’t understand AACs, don’t know we use one sometimes, or we don’t have their phone number. Still shelving that issue for now and just putting text only buttons. We can always add images later.
