My school banning chromebook games has just made everyone play shit you'd find in a nursing home. Yeah Danny's really good at chess he's like he chess king. He actually founded the chess club, which genuinely is full beyond capacity. Sometimes they play Mahjong or playing card games in there, too. Personally I'm fond of Tetris and Uno. Yeah I have playing cards and a uno deck in my backpack. We spent 45 minutes doing a crossword yesterday. What the fuck ever.

There is absolutely something Wrong with Steph at her core but I absolutely believe that losing her husband/being irrepably scarred by the raiders/giving birth so soon after it all snapped something in her mind. At the VERY LEAST, she was better at hiding her malice before Lucy's wedding, and even seemed to like her. Her husband also didn't seem afraid of her like Chet is, implying she used to be more mellow.

My bet's on either a minor TBI, some sort of postpartum depression or psychosis, or just a straight power rush from being Overseer. Either it made her more aggressive, or it stopped her from hiding that aggression, and it was already there.

I feel like some people are sorta missing the point of Vault-Tec's cryogenic experiments, since a lot of people are calling it "filler" and "an easy way for Bethesda to start another game where you're a Vault-dweller," and while I am also sick of playing a Vault-dweller, there is absolutely a reason that Vault-Tec keeps doing cryo experiments specifically.

Vault-Tec cannot imagine a world where they don't have the upper hand! They're egotistical enough to think that they'll last past the dropping of the bomb, and they only gave staff in Vault 111 ~180 days of food for that reason! They're used to having all this money and power, and they truly think that power will last forever. Just like House did, just like the Millitary did, and just like the Enclave did.

People who have power often expect to stay in power forever, especially considering that Corporations ruled pre-war America. Vault-Tec is just preparing to branch out again, ignorant to the fact that their middle-managers and money and power won't matter within hours of Armageddon.

I liked this earlier on my alt, but it made me mad thinking about it so im coming back to comment.

In act 1, Joey, who is a 14-year-old girl, can be eaten alive. Similarly, Xefros, who is of a similar age, nearly bleeds to death under the rubble of his destroyed home. This, to the Homestuck team, is more palateable than the existance of a transfem.

In act 2, Joey is manipulated into playing a literal killing game that she only very narrowly escapes. Lynera, who I assume is about 16-17, is dragged away and murdered off-screen. A child who can be no older than 11 is slaughtered after being pushed off of a train, and we get a close-up of the reaction of their other half as they essentially lose half of their personhood and writhe on the floor in agony. This, to the Homestuck team, is more palateable than the existence of a transfem.

Yes, this sort of violence is standard for Alternia and Homestuck as a whole. I have no issue with that, because Alternia sucks. But do you know what else is standard on Alternia? Very low levels of gender conformity, because gender does not matter to trolls like it does to humans. Having several transfem characters would make a lot of sense, actually.

They'd rather make TERFs happy than include a transfem character amongst the 4 canon transmasc characters we have (Marvus, Lanque, Actias, and that one other male jade we haven't met in-game yet) and the 2 nonbinary characters we have with Charun and Cirava.

Like OP said. Holy shit do they need to grow a backbone. This is actually gross behavior.

Adding these tags because they're genuinely so true. I made this exact point in a comment section once and was told that I was a "pick me who doesn't care about other victims!" Another commenter also told me they hoped it happened again, referring to my abuse. They genuinely cared more about the "feelings" of a fictional character than an actual victim who had a difference of opinion to them. Like. Come on. It's almost comical how little they actually care
