This is not an ask, more of a thanks.
I’ve been following your blog for a long time, but this is the first time I’ve ever reached out.
It genuinely saddens me that someone as kind and generous as you has been treated so poorly by a few recently. Of all the people on Tumblr, you’re one of the last who deserves harassment. You give so much of yourself through your stories, your humour, your honesty, and the time you spend replying to people. Sadly, there will always be a handful of people who seem determined to drain the joy out of others.
For every loud troll or miserable keyboard warrior, there are many more quiet followers like me who simply appreciate what you share. I love your stories, your photos, and getting a glimpse into your lifestyle. They’re something I genuinely look forward to whenever you feel like posting. There should never be any pressure to keep everyone happy—your own wellbeing comes first.
You also have something many people would envy: a supportive husband who clearly has your back.
I also saw your 48th birthday is coming up. I honestly had to read it twice—I would never have guessed. You look fantastic, but more importantly, your personality and kindness are what keep people coming back.
Thank you for everything you’ve shared over the years. Please keep being yourself and doing what makes you happy. The people who genuinely appreciate you far outnumber the few who try to tear you down.

I have learned over time that the perils of having a blog and putting yourself out there invite others to comment. 99% of the time, it's positive, but it's the 1% that sucks because, in my case, they all seem to happen at once. It's so wild. It's not like a random one-off or outlier. It's like there's a meeting of the minds and everyone bombards me to see how I react. I generally try to take the high road or come up with a clever, sarcastic response, but sometimes life sucks, and if the timing is right, it just piles on to all the other things that are going not so well in my life. It's okay; I'm resilient and have learned how to bounce back, as they say.
What helps me deal with all of that is, as you correctly stated, my husband. Without Mr. C's love and support, I would break. He has this attitude about life where he literally has zero F's to give. I don't know how he does it, but he is the reason why I embrace the whole "life is short, don't waste it on people who are irrelevant in your life." He's right. It doesn't matter what they think or say. They don't put food on our table. They don't put a roof over our heads. They are people that we probably wouldn't connect with as friends, and in the grand scheme of things, why should we live our lives to fit into someone else's perception of how things should be? As long as we don't hurt others or do illegal things, who really cares? When we are long dead and gone, people will forget about us anyway. Sometimes, I need to be reminded of that. Mr. C is very good at reminding me. Thank you for reminding me what's important. 🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘
