I know a lot of people are unhappy that stars has consistently won 5/8 titles because it will drive away other studios, but what was the alternative? Not give the title to the person who landed on top just because other studio can't handle the amount of talent coming from one studio? Seems way worse and way more wrong then just giving it to the rightful winner don't you think? Also people were truly gonna leave TDA Orlando because stars was winning to much, they would've done it by now. stars has been taking home multiple titles since 2021 and 5 titles since 2024, that's plenty of time to leave if you don't like the results

The amount of discourse about which elementary schooler deserves to win over the other elementary schoolers is absolutely ridiculous and shameful. Also while were at I wanna address something else that others me. repeat winners ≠ favoritism - a dancer worked their butt off and ended up at the top of their division. After taking a year to tour and keep learning, they still remain at the top of their age category - is it that hard to understand? New winners show improvement, repeat winners show consistency - 2 things that we should celebrate instead of making a fuss over. please stop saying that compeitions favor certain people cuz imagine how it would feel to work your butt off to stay on top just to have people calling your hard work "favoritism"

I love seeing Natty title winners reactions when they’re announced, and I think that even the well known dancers are usually surprised and honored in the moment.
However, I love when a Luke Noss 2026 or a Bree Batstone 2025 typa surprise happens!!! Like how fun when a kid is just there to dance and is completely floored when their talent speaks for itself

this to me has more of a velocity & radix vibe i think nycda and tda feel more classy because they arent trying to prove themselves if that makes sense they earned prestige but press play seems to asssume they already have it but i agree the talent is what makes this competition more prestigious

cami’s mom left this comment under one of my posts and i want to share it here! i think this is such an important message for all dancers. no matter what happens tomorrow night, cami is an inspiration both on and off stage and it’s been amazing watching her comp dance career 🥹
Gahhhh you guys really are the best! If you actually know her you would know that …we are poor, we live in the bad part of town, every penny her mama makes go to dance, (single teacher mama), Her costume was from shein… on clearance, her solo was self choreographed because money, she is with her grandma because her mama has to teach summer school because bills, so everything she single thing she has earned was her blood sweat and tears! Her solo was letting go of her struggles with anxiety and perfectionism. Watching her let go made me sob! So no matter what …she is perfect in my eyes! And I want all the little girls who don’t live in the big house, and can’t afford the fancy cars, to know that you can do it with hard work ! believe in yourself, grind, then shine! Last time was really the best time! And I love you all for supporting my girl!!
I’m so stressed for the p21 kids, idk how they’re going to work out the closing show and press play auditions on Sunday
