Guys I took the sw AI post down because people felt like I was harping on the kid. To be clear that was not at all my intent, it is extremely important to me that I do not contribute to the significant amount of negativity spread about competition dancers online (I think for the most part tumblr isn’t bad, but there are certainly other platforms full of negativity). I apologize to have upset anyone, I just got a laugh out of Krista’s choice to put those pictures in chat rather than posting as is. My anons definitely perceived it differently and I would hate to ever come across making fun of any dancer, but especially such a young talent.
There also seems to be some misunderstandings about my account in my anons and why I am on tumblr so I will be a bit more blunt. I am a former competition dancer and graduated shortly after covid, never have I claimed to be a current dancer. I do have a sibling at a bigger name studio, though I never attended the studio myself nor do I associate with them beyond being a family member and supporter. At this point dance is a hobby for me and I get my fix with the odd drop-in class in Toronto!
I have a tumblr page because I enjoy being in the know about competition dance. Since graduating it has become my main way of staying updated, and I really enjoy all the positive, uplifting, and funny people in this community!

They were honestly my pick to win jr female, a recompete of that solo would have ate down and after what I thought was a perfectly executed improv I was shocked we didn’t get it. Are they actually? With Orlando being the last week of school next year (for many east coasters) I worry there won’t be many studios. Then again Vegas this year barely had an eligible studios
