Maybe a hot take but I think big noise is one of the best dances I’ve ever seen

I always wonder how they judge different genres against each other. Like jazz/contemp/lyrical/ jazz funk/musical theater seem to maybe have similar base technique, but like how would a judge whose unfamiliar with hip hop be able to adequately judge a hh solo against like a contemp? Or same with ballroom with its own set of rules against some musical theater?

I feel bad for any AZ dancers whose parents make them do TDA Orlando. They spend all summer preparing for Nationals, they go to Nationals, and then they go to school the second they get back. That’s not a summer! Give these dancers a life!

I really don’t get the negative comments about repeat winners. the same people pointing it out are also praising cami and ian for winning 4 times. it seems it’s only political or unfair when the winners are not someone’s fav. the best should win, thats the reason why the best dancers and studios continue to win. and if people have an issue with that then maybe watching or participating in competitions is not for them.

I think this is an unpopular opinion but I don’t care how many repeaters or stars winners we have. At the end of the day, if they’re the ones who come out on top after the recompete, they should win. This is nationals, it’s not “everyone gets a turn”
