On Douyin, a lot of comments were in pure shock like, “She wore white???”

Among dancers, wearing white can be seen as beyond bold because

you have to be very VERY confident, and

you can’t be afraid of being seen clearly

White is known for making a dancer look visually larger on stage, so many performers avoid it.😭 She had every right to be confident!

There are also rumors that her family bribed the judges to secure a high placement hhh. Her appearance has become a topic of discussion too.. some people criticize her for not fitting their idea of being “pretty.” 🫩 just focus on the dance ffs

But importantly, no one is criticizing her actual skill, which says a lot. She’s genuinely impressive regardless of looks🤞🏼 I loved the edit so I had to show you. Hopefully Tumblr will allow videos in DMs (desktop vers.) someday. But honestly, this works out nice too — more people can see it if they’re into the arts.

Hello my beautiful angels!

missed me?

First of all, I’m sorry I haven’t been active or posted anything recently, I’ve been so so busy these couples days with school, and I competed at a National Dance Competition!!

I’m so proud and happy to say that my competitive dance trio came second place!!

I just had so much fun this weekend I didn't even cry once <3

Here's what I got up to:

I thoroughly enjoyed the long 5hr car ride (yes there and back), blasting my music out loud and singing with my dad, staying at a hotel, the breakfast buffet, dinner with my dad, exploring the host city with friends, doing my makeup at 6am in the morning, having lunch with my dance team, that euphoric feeling before stepping onto the stage infront of so many people, that smell of my perfume mixed with hairspray, the feeling of the adrenaline rush through my body, holding that 2nd place trophy with my two best friends, taking photos in the dressing room mirrors, the gas station snacks, and that feeling of finally coming back to my room (aka the cosiest place in the world), having an everything shower and going to sleep after such an eventful weekend <3

Anyways, I also wanted to announce that my blog is at 120 followers 🥳🥳

I can't believe it and am feeling so grateful!!

I’m am so excited to continue my little girl blog, as I share my ups, downs, thoughts, advice, and experiences etc!!
