The Backrooms: New Entity
(This may be a series. Depends on how much you like Ch.1)
"[9-1-1, what's your emergency?]"
"[Ma'am, remain calm. How old is your son?]"
"He's only 4! Oh my God! I don't understand where he could've gone! He was here literally seconds ago playing on his iPad. I went to the bathroom, and when I came back, he was gone!"
"[Did he wander out of the house, by chance? Where do you live?]"
-insert address here- "And no! The front door is locked! I've checked everywhere, and he's not hiding anywhere!"
"[Ok, ma'am, can I have your name?]"
"It's Diane Henry! And my son's name is Lucas! Please, help me find him! He's just a four-year-old boy!"

Yellow walls. Stained carpet.
Lucas got up, clutching the iPad as he looked around at the strange place.
He called, and called, but his echo was the only answer.
Lucas touched the flashlight button on the iPad and began to wander around.
"Moooooooooommy! MOOOOOOMMY! Where are you?!"
Turn after turn. Hallway after hallway.
And before long, the iPad's battery ran out.
"Mommy! My iPad turned black! I'm scared! Can you come out now?!"
The room remained silent.
"MOMMY!" Lucas screamed. He bawled his eyes out, clutching the iPad so hard the screen almost cracked.

"Alright. Ready to head in?"
Two workers in these heavy, yellow hazmat suits watched the industrial door slide closed behind them.
"Exit secure. This should keep the entity out."
"I don't think that murderous bundle of black squiggles has ever left the Backrooms, dude."
"That doesn't mean that it won't. Come on, the door's close."
They rounded the corner to the research room and saw that it wasn't empty.
"...What's a kid doing here?"
There's a little boy, iPad in one hand and a juice box in the other.
"...Can you guys help me find my Mommy?"
"Hey, little guy." The worker motioned for his buddy to check the cameras while he calmly approached the boy. "What's your name?"
"Nice to meet you, Lucas. I'm Ted. How did you get in here, bud?"
"Dude, you gotta come look at this!" Ted's buddy tapped the monitor.
Three hours ago: The cameras show Lucas falling into the Backrooms.
Two hours ago: The cameras glitched. Lucas doesn't show up on the feed.
Five minutes ago: The cameras show a really tall shadow leading Lucas to the door. The shadow nudges him through. The cameras glitch. The shadow is gone.
"Say... Lucas? Did anyone else happen to be in that room with you?" Ted asked, crouching to Lucas' level.
"Uh-huh. Can you describe the tall lady? Jack, call security. Tell them we found a lost kid."
Lucas took a sip of the juice box.
"She wore a big, flat hat, a dress, and my mommy has this really fancy tablecloth with a lot of holes; the lady was wearing a small one on her face. And all her clothes were black."
"Security's been notified. What do we do about the kid?"
"I'm sure there's an APB out on Lucas here. I'll handle it."
"Alright... It's your head on the chopping block, Ted."
Ted rubbed his neck, trying to think of a solution.
"Lucas, listen to me very carefully. We're gonna help you find your mom, alright? But. You have to promise me that you'll keep this place a secret."
"Mommy says I can't keep secrets if they're bad."
"This isn't a bad secret. This is, uh... That- That lady? In there? We're protecting her... from bad people. So, it's a good secret, ok?"

Entity Label: The Tall Lady
Classification: The new entity was described as a rather tall woman wearing what appeared to be mourning attire: a black, wide-brimmed hat, a black dress, and a veil.
Behavior: The Tall Lady appears to be non-aggressive, almost nurturing in this one encounter with an anonymous child. We went in after the child was returned home and did not encounter it. No word yet on whether this entity is hostile towards staff.
Location: The Tall Lady seems to inhabit the same level as the entity known as The Bacteria. There has been no interaction between entities. Also, the Tall Lady can make cameras glitch.
Additional Notes: The child was not scared of the new entity, which leads me to believe it's either not terrifying or can make itself appear less threatening to children.
Further data is required.
