This year has been kind of an interesting one for the 3 Days of Horror. For the first 8 days 7 of them have been foreign horror and I have more to come. In fact, some of these are going to be blind buys I have already watched a few of those. Wax Mask was a nice movie along with Nightmare City. But here on the 8th day, we moved from Italy to Spain to check out one of Jess Franco’s many films. A tale of both youth and immortality.   

Okay now that the goofiness is over I went back to the Dollar Tree to check out what they had and it seemed like this time it was a lot of unknown stuff or just tons of independent stuff. I like hitting the store just because it is like a blind buy grab bag. I mean what can go wrong with spending only a dollar for a movie. If you do not like then it is just a dollar. But here in this video as you can see I have two handfuls of movies including one that I know everybody loves even me but it has not been in the collection. Now it is. So come along with me and I show you what I found. 

Things come and go over time but there are a few things that stay the same as Halloween, Black Friday, and the Severin Mid-year sale. I will be honest I look forward to all those things. But, the Severin sale is special along with the VS Halfway to Black Friday sale. The Severin sale is special because it has some of the best Italian horror films for the cheapest prices. It is amazing. Growing up when I did in the late 70′s early 80′s for some reason there was always Italian Horror on t.v. or in the theaters. So I have had the luck to see some of the coolest stuff from my youth. Every time I order from Severin it is like I am plugging into the fountain that everyone seems to be looking for. Now I have not seen all the Horror films from Italy but I have seen a great deal. And in this are some that I have seen and some I have not. So, sit back and watch as I show you what I picked up from Severin. 

Redemption is good for the soulI say this because as an avid movie fan I am always looking for stuff to add to my massive collection. A while back Kino Lorber was having a sale and I bought both Pete Walker Collection and Virgin Witch. That was it was the beginning of my affair with Redemption Films. Some time passed by and they had another sale this time it was Jean Rollin vampire box set and Black magic Rights. Again not disappointed at all in my purchase. But some time would by before I would venture back the kino Lorber site. And as time went by I added more stuff from other places. Then it happened Kino Lorber was having yes dare I say it another sale the Lazy Hazy crazy summer sale. Of course, I jumped on the site to see what they had and this video shows you what I got.

A few days went by and the drawing was done. I had won. This is cool I had not received a Horror Pack in a bit of time. Been wanting to buy a box but always worried about getting stuck with doubles. But here it is the stuff that dreams or nightmares are made of the winnings. Check it out.  

So I grabbed this box but it was a gift box with a shirt in it. I like the gift box idea but, to be honest, finding a shirt in my size is kind of impossible So I get stuck with a shirt I will never use. But, it was the only way of getting it on Blu-Ray. I talk about this and more in the video check it out.    

Now another thing when it comes to modern takes on classic films is how to re-invent the wheel per-say. Since the first invisible man, there have been tons of sequels, t.v. shows, and remakes. in this case, we follow the story for a more modern way of turning invisible and I will not say too much about it but I think he got the idea from a bond film. When the new year was coming around all of the companies were showing sales. I heard that Fright-Rags was having a big sale on their shirts. So, I spent some time over on the F-R site to see what they had and if they had any in my size. The answer to both those questions was yes and yes. And I had just received the package from them and here are the shirts in this video so check it out. 

Hey everyone the13thwolfman here just giving you a heads up on my most recent grabs. Back at the end of the November two companies Severin and Vinegar Syndrome were having the half off Black Friday sale. I showed you last week the Severin stuff. This week just before Christmas, which is great on VS for getting it out that fast my Vinegar Syndrome has arrived. Is it as big as the Severin? No. But, this was a good time just the same ordering some of the stuff I have been wanting for some time now. So here it is click the link and enjoy it.  

BlackFriday is one of those days I treat like any other holiday. I tend to count down the days when we get within 90. So, as you know I go out on this day and just buy up all I can in the stores. I did that again this year but when I got home I spent some time checking out the online Black Friday sales. This video is the result of one of them. Still have other stuff coming in. I know what you are saying how can you still find stuff to want. I will always want horror no matter what. Check out the video. 

Well if you are new to my Tumblr or YouTube channel then here is something i do every year. I save up for the year and then on black Friday just buy whatever movies I want. I only use cash. Cash is king on that day. I get up early and my mother joins me on this day we hit all the stores we want in search of movies. We are movie junkies and just can’t get enough. Well this year it was pretty much business as usual. The movie hunt was on and we hit 2 Target stores, 2 Best Buy Stores, 2 Walmart stores and after it was all said and done I have a ton more stuff to add to the collection. Check out the video.

Well I am talking like this because today's movie kind of feels that is what happened with it. I mean it is a okay film but, not a great one and it is a third part in a franchise. So, most people would think the story has run itself out but, in this each movie has its own self contained story so I would expect more from it. But no that is not what happened the story is thin. The logic is almost non-existent. It is just one of those times I expected more and got less. If you are still curious about the movie check out the video.

So many different kinds of horror films you can get into slashers, monsters, vampires, but something really cool is the zombie film. Many masters of horror have made a mark. Making good zombie films. And there are quite a few of them out there. And then there are many bad ones. But every now and then a movie comes along that surprises you and makes you wonder why nobody has thought of this kind of film yet. That is this movie. The one that surprised me out of nowhere. And it is a well-done movie. And I think you would all dig this so check out the video to see what I am rambling about here.
