1. If you’re r/mr/m shippers, OR ok with r/mr/m please get off my blog. You dont have to actively create content for the ship to not be welcomed on here. I didnt think I would have to breakdown the technicalities of this whole thing 

2. Dont?? bring up the intrusives thoughts episode up in support of your active support of inc*st ships? The intrusives thought episode was VERY CLEARLY about intrusive thoughts, NOT about you willingly and actively creating harmful content. Not that, that type of content is ‘off limits’ but if your gonna address things like pedophilia, incest, abuse you CANT glorify it!! And people who SHIP r/mr/m glorify the incest aspect, they dont leave out the fact that their brothers. I've seen fics where the whole fucking conflict is they are brothers. STOP fucking STOP 

3. It doesnt have to be. It does not i repeat have to be REAL to be considered damaging. The twins (yes as the fandom fucking knows them as the TWINS) are canonically brothers and are referred to as such throughout the intrusives thoughts episode. Like MULTIPLE times. It is NOT some sort of allegory.

FIction Affects reality, the TSS fandom is a majority of minors. Im a minor a lot of the kids are young too and seeing ppl say: hey this type of thing is ok. Is DAMAGING, its actively damaging. A blog you respect saying this is ok bc so and so AFFECTS ppl you HARM ppl. If fiction didnt affect reality then propaganda, the whole jaws effect, emotional scenes in movies would NOT be as powerful. Fan content to an extent can be just as powerful as canon.

give the owl house more spotlight, give it more attention. support it like you supported gravity falls, like you supported steven universe, like you supported she-ra. give it that hype. be LOUD. if you cant support it monetarily then talk about it! a lot! word of mouth is the best advertising tool!

its got stunning visuals, awesome world building, amazing character design, really really deep lore potential, realistic relationships and all the characters are more than 2d stereotypes, tokens, and tropes.

if the owl house does really well, it’ll help open the doors to more queer and nonwhite creators being greenlit. it’ll prevent more shows like this from getting cancelled like OK KO (a cartoon made by a black man with canonically queer and neurodivergent characters) was.
