Every time I play Origins I get horribly blindsided by how often Wynne will tell the Warden to seek martyrdom and constantly self-sacrifice. It hits a lot especially playing a female mage... how much of that does she actually believe, and how much of that are the lies she desperately told herself to make life in the Circle possible? They took her freedom, her child, her life, and so Wynne is convinced that you have to be willing to sacrifice yourself for some "greater good". It's just safer for the warden to believe now, so that anything later won't hurt them as much. Wynne makes me so unwell...

Well I have super great news! They do exist in Thedas! Sten actually references them in dao, though it is in his dream. They're also mentioned in datv in Tevinter.

If you need a list of flora and fauna that is confirmed the wiki page should be up to date... mostly. I got like 90% of the way through updating it yesterday lol

like to me. they 100% designed davrin to be the alistair and cullen of veilguard. he's incredibly gorgeous and hot. hot voice too. has that whole tortured "i should've died" arc. they gave him that little turkey pet. the way he flirts with rook makes my toes curl. he has that fanservice workout scene

I think more people should play Dragon Age 2 and actually engage with the more "problematic" content in it in a philosophical manner cause the game is actually kinda wild by current censorship standards for something that came out only 15 years ago

like you can sell one of your companions back into slavery. and one of your other companions approves of this action - the same companion that spends the entire game fighting for the rights and freedoms of his own marginalized group btw. fucking fascinating character work right there
