Very much so. Even beyond Cait's demeanor being considered... antisocial at best, the Witches are not well liked by civilized society. The stigma alone from practicing magic is enough to keep people away, but the Witches are an old and storied culture on the island, and people fear them snatching up their children.
Utter drivel, of course, as Cait would tell you. She has never known her mother to kidnap children, nor has she ever been instructed in such a thing either. The Witches are little more than wisewomen and herbalists who happen to know how to set things on fire from a distance. An ability Cait uses liberally.

12 What is the worst thing that has happened to your OC? How has it affected their behavior, their health, and their life in general?

There are a few things Leon might consider the worst thing that's happened to him. His mother's disappearance is certainly one of them. But the pirate raid of Lowpool when he was a teenager is perhaps the thing that haunts him most - and he knows it haunts Pandora too. She lost her ability to speak that day, all in the name of saving his life. He can't bare to look at the scar it left on her throat, it just reminds him that she almost died, and for what? Him? He cant imagine how that was worth it.
But as painful as it was, as close as she came to losing not only her voice but her life that day, Pandora doesn't regret it one bit. She wasn't using her voice for much, anyway. She would much rather he keep his, if only so she can keep listening to all the stories he knows.

1. Where was your OC born, and where did they grow up?
Ratner and Leon were both born and raised in the town of Lowpool! It's a port city and their country's main trading hub and their father owns a general store in its dock ward, which Leon takes care of primarily on his own now as their father gets older.
Pandora, meanwhile, belongs to a sea elf culture that lives nomadically on the waves. She was both born and raised at sea, but considers Lowpool a hometown of sorts, as it's the primary location her people make port for the majority of the year. It gets too cold in the area for them to stay through winter, however.
Cait grew up in the woods just beyond the fields around Lowpool, just her and her mother. Magic hasn't been illegal in the country for a century now, but it's still frowned upon by the wider populace, so the Witches tend to keep to themselves. Her only real friend is Pandora, who she chanced to meet while the sickly sea elf was inland and hunting a deer that passed through Cait's mother's garden.
And Helene, as Princess and heir to the throne, was raised in the capital - built into a long abandoned and well fortified dwarven ruin. It was, perhaps, a bit lonely - but she oft made friends of the knights in training around her own age. She was born to a long line of Warrior Queens, after all, so she spent much time sparing with them.
2. How does your OC remember their childhood? Is this an accurate reflection of what their childhood was actually like?
Leon and Ratner remember their childhood more or less the same way: there were the happy years, and then the years after their mother disappeared. Leon had been a talkative and rather popular child, the oldest of their group of friends and their sort of leader, but after their mother left he became a bit of a shut in. Partially it was due to an increased level of concern from their father, but in truth he just didn't have it in him to go run around town like he once had. And after the pirate raid of Lowpool in his teenage years, he couldn't much stand to be in public at all. Ratner, by contrast, threw himself harder into his social life. Though really, he just couldn't stand to be home as often anymore.
Pandora's childhood was spent mostly at sea, but the times they came into port were her favorite. Her people treated her like she was made of broken glass, a sickly child and marked for a hard life by her vibrant orange hair. But when she came into port were her happiest memories. She always wanted to see the boy who climbed the shipping crates and told stories of ancient heroes and epic battles. She never got to speak to him much before the pirate raid, and as much as that saddens her, she would never find it in her to regret it.
Cait's childhood was quiet. Just her and her mother and the woods. She spent most of her time reading, studying history and botany and anything else her mother felt it was prudent for her to know. She didn't make her first friend until well into her teenage years, and just her luck she happened to be a mute hunter that Cait would only see every few months. At least it suited her quiet life.
Helene's childhood was not difficult. She is, after all, a princess, and princesses are not known to struggle. Unlike most princesses, however, a large portion of Helene's education was the ways of combat. She enjoyed it far more than her historical studies, as exhausting as they were.
3. If your OC could revisit their childhood, what would they want to change about it, if anything at all?
Leon has many many regrets about his childhood. He would spend more time with his mother, try to keep her from leaving if he could. Try to keep the girl he loved from losing her voice. Try to be less of a disappointment to his father. He'd redo the whole lot of it, if he only could.
Ratner likes to pretend there's nothing he regrets, but just as much as his brother wants to, he'd want to keep their mother from leaving. He could never wrap his head around why she did, why said she'd be back and never was. At the very least, he'd want to ask her just what was so damn important.
Pandora would change nothing. Truly, not a thing. She doesn't regret the bad things that happened to her or around her and there is little point in changing it all.
Cait, too, would change nothing. But because she struggles to think of what she would even change. Nothing much at all happened for most of her childhood, and she sees little reason to wish anything more could have.
Helene's only regret is not listening to her mother more. To her advice, to her lessons, to every last word. She feels so lost without her now, she would only want to go back and take it all to heart.
4. Describe three of the most important photographs your OC owns.
Unfortunately, in the setting they're in they wouldn't have cameras and photographs aha - and I would just answer anyway as if they did, but this post is So Long already. Perhaps if I get this question a second time I might gpose a few things, but I think for now the sad answer will just have to be that they don't have any.
5. What is your OC's gender identity and sexual orientation? Is this also what they identify as in canon, or are they not (fully) aware?
I think as far as any of them are concerned, they're all cis gendered, and I think would all fall under the category of more or less bisexual - barring Helene for reasons Im gonna yap about quick.
My setting doesn't exactly have the same ideas of sex and gender that we would here in the modern world, so I try to keep that in mind for defining sexuality. Leon and Ratner are both firmly bisexual - though Ratner is more practiced at it than his older brother - but sexuality just really isn't a concern for them. They aren't nobility, they have no need for heirs to pass any land or titles to, so they're allowed to just be interested in whoever they're interested in. I would say the "default" is still opposite-sex attraction, but this mostly just affects the idea that being only attracted to the same-sex just isn't really a thing. Culturally you're expected to always be attracted to the opposite sex, but it's not really a big deal to also be into the same gender.
Pandora and Cait also more or less fall under this same idea of bisexuality then, though if we wanted to be modern accurate with it I think Cait falls closer to demi-sexual, she just isn't very attracted to anyone without a cause to be.
Helene, however, would be considered straight by people around - though I consider her bisexual as well - solely because she is of the nobility. Same-sex attraction isn't an option for her, she hasn't even really questioned her sexuality either as she knows she's expected to birth an heir.
I don't think it's in her story to question it, either, but these kind of standards aren't off the table for something I explore in a future story. I think these kinds of cultural standards are interesting to look at and consider, honestly.
