I genuinely don’t know what antis think would happen if ao3 banned darkfic. People are still going to write and post it they’ll just have to post it without trigger warnings out of fear of getting banned. As long as darkfic is allowed to exist uncensored then it will be easy to filter for so you don’t have to read it if you don’t like.
I don't know why antis would think that banning anything on Ao3 would even happen because Ao3 was created by fandom sickos for fandom sickos (affectionately). Ao3 was created by a Wincest shipper, and the first fanfuc on there was, suprise, suprise, incest!
It's always: "Ew, post your deranged, disgusting shit where it belongs!" until writers do and then antis still throw a fuzz because they'd have to use their brain in order for them to navigate a very useful filtering system.
