Around an year ago I was doom scrolling on insta and i got a reel that said when you need fight in Clair obscure but you are too busy dancing on the majestic music and it was a lovely french song in the background.
Needless to say I went down a rabbit hole, searched for the song which turned out to be Lumiere, went to listen to more songs by the same composer from the game. The songs were fucking beautiful but i also wanted to know the story behind them so I watched a 17h gameplay for clair obscure: expedition 33 and let me tell you this the story crushed me and I haven't been ok since.
When spotify wrapped arrived last year it was no surpise for me that Lorien was my top artist or that my top ten had a lot of songs from the game.
When I heard they are gonna be touring Europe I knew i needed to be there wherever there might be. And let me be tell you the ticket war was crushing, the tickets were sold out in the first couple of minutes. Luckily they added a second round of locations and this time I was lucky enough to snatch one!
I just got back from the concert and jesus fucking Christ it was amazing. All these people dressed in bagguette outfit and I was one of them too and it was WHEEEEEEEEE β₯οΈ
And they ended the concert with all of us singing Lumiere and Aux Lendemain non ecrit which is such epic ending
I just can't believe I was there to witness live the songs and the story that's been plaguing me in the last year. 33/10 would recommend
