However, the other man, with "Criminal" written on him, has his shoes untied, and is wearing a baggie hooded sweatshirt and sagging pants. He also has scraggly facial hair, and is wearing a beanie hat that covers up his eyes. This detail may seem insignificant, but it takes away his sense of identity, which is often used to catch criminals. He is also holding his gun as though ready to fire at any moment, pointed horizontally instead of vertically. All of these little details come together to make him look like a hoodlum or shady individual. The viewer is also drawn to him since he poses a threat.

Together, the two men do not appear to be paying too much attention to one another in the first panel. Both are looking straight ahead, not looking at all threatened by the other. However, in the second panel, the well-abiding citizen still stares straight forward without his guns. The criminal, on the other hand, is looking at him with a menacing grin, still holding his gun horizontally. This is important because it shows that the criminal, who obtained his weapon illegally, will get to keep his gun after gun control.

At first sight, I wondered 'Why did the artist make the law-abiding citizen not look concerned?'. The artist is trying to show that to the naked eye, gun control will not seem like that big of a deal to law-abiding citizens, but in reality it poses a great hazard, especially because the law-abiding citizens will not be suspecting it.

Altogether the image depicts that gun control will take away guns from the good law-abiding citizens, but not the dangerous criminals. The artist sums this up by putting "Gun Control for Dummies" at the bottom of the image. He chose to do this to make it clear what he was trying to target, but even more so to mock supporters of gun control. The font used for the "for dummies" text is significant because it relates to the well known series of tutorial books that are published for beginners on almost any topic. This strengthens his mockery immensely.

Sounds way too good to be true right? That's the idea. In reality Beezid is a dangerous game to play. Beezid requires you to pay per bid, and, unlike eBay, you pay for each bid, even if you lose. Also each penny you use to bid actually costs you 70 cents a bid. Losing bids happens almost constantly on the website, since a lot of times people will not quit at trying to bid for an item. The company is also smart, and hires people to bid on the items, giving the people a huge discount, or even free bids, on some items. This means they have no sacrifice in bidding a dozen times, while it costs you $8.40. If an employee wins a prize, the prize can be recirculated onto the site, making them even more money on the same item.

Unless you are bidding on low priced items, such as gift cards, avoid this website at all costs. Beezid also has copycats you should avoid, such as quibids, happybidday, and zeekrewards. For the safety of your hard-earned money, do not keep bidding on items that are heavily bidded on.

Bing rewards is a system that rewards you for doing simple tasks such as inviting your friends, using bing regularly, and searching 30 times per day. For each two searches, you get 1 credit of which you can get up to 15 per day. For using bing regularly, you can get some extra points at Silver Level, which is completed by completing some tours, defining a goal, and earning 200 credits. By becoming Silver, you earn a 50-credit bonus. If you continue to use it even more, you become gold by earning a total of 750 credits, redeeming points for a reward (that ones not too boring), and doing at least 150 reward-able searches per month. The Xbox One, the newest and greatest version of the Xbox at this point, is trying to distract users from its competitor, the Sony PS4. The purpose is to get gamers to purchase Gold and keep renewing it even before they can afford the expensive, $500 Xbox One. Now if you already had gold membership, you would not want to waste it right? Well this thought process makes more people purchase the Xbox One over the PS4. The sales and free games are strictly distractions, and allow Microsoft to make the benefits sound too great to pass up. Now I am not saying that these free games are not good, but they do, in reality, come at a price, and as far as the great sales go, Microsoft wants to get every penny they can get out of the Xbox 360 before everyone switches over.

Self-absorption

Self-absorption has definitely been influenced by social networking. This topic has been caused by many factors. Occurring mostly in the situation of females,  being self-absorbed online consists of adding random guys that will like every single thing you post. In fact, it has gotten to the point where people will tweet 'Good Morning Twitter!' and get hundreds of likes just for that one post. In more severe cases, however, people will post to each other while having a fight online, often in the case of them being their significant other. This puts out your whole fight to the whole internet, and will, if anything, make you hate one of your friends.

Vine, if you did not know, is a website where people can post short videos to their profile, just like Twitter or Facebook. However, this social networking site has caused dangers to not only the 'Viners', but also the people around them.

Conclusion

Intel has spread like wildfire, and is often the consumers processor of choice. It is very hard to find a laptop nowadays with something other than intel in it. In fact, all of Apple's Macs contain only Intel. However, you get what you pay for. Intel processors tend to be much more expensive then AMDs, but they also include Integrated graphics much more often. This means that unless you need to run something highly graphical (such as games or video editing software) you will not need a graphics card to view the operating system on your screen. This may seem silly, but in laptops it can lower the cost exponentially, and allow the laptop to run cooler while being much smaller since the bulky graphics card is not needed. However, Intel is still the choice of most modern day gamers due to its name and graphical support.

AMD is also well-known, but it is very difficult to find one put into a pre-manufactured computer (one you do not make yourself). This is mostly because of the single mistake they made with one of their processors. AMD stepped ahead of Intel, and created dual-core, quad-core, and even more cores much before Intel. However, this quick growth caused them to make a big mistake. Intel's processor and AMD's Processor of the time were put next to each other for a comparison test. The video shows the testers starting up a game on both computers and then removing the heat sinks and cpu fans (the cooling mechanism for the processors) off of the processors. Intel's slowly cooled down and dropped frames to prevent damage. However, AMD tried to keep on chugging along and caught fire! This one big mistake is what pushed AMD off of the map, and made Intel the primary name for microprocessing. AMD does often give more bang for your buck, but does not usually contain Integrated graphics. Also, AMD processors (at this point) do not have enough power to support the newest graphic cards version, PCIe 3.0. At this point, however, this isn't an issue considering not even graphics cards have reached the level required by 3.0. The only downside is that AMD motherboards do not support 3.0 if you wished to upgrade the graphics card later on, when the technology has caught up to it. 

So, which processor is better? Depends on what you want your computer for, and how much you are willing to spend.

In my opinion, AMD wins the war hands down because of the fact that you can buy a much better processor for $200 while Intel's version of it costs $400-$600. I do not care much for integrated graphics since I am a gamer, and buy a graphics card anyway, so why pay extra for the integrated graphics?

With that bring said, for laptops and retail, Intel definitely wins the war. They run much cooler so the laptop will not seem like a private space heater when using heavier applications. Also, Intel gives you a much wider selection to choose from. They have a lot more processor models than AMD, and can be found in almost 90% of computer sold in retail stores.

This news bulletin is a sad realization of what society has come to. Parents blame teachers for failing their student or hurting their student, but yet the other way around does not seem to matter. However, some parents think he did the right thing by pinning the student down after being pushed down the stairs. Students have been spoiled by parents, and have created almost a friendship as opposed to being a parent. Sometimes it is the teachers fault, however when your student pushes a teacher down the stairs, or fails all of his classes with different teachers, it is time to take action. 

On the other hand, schools do have to follow the rules that they set up.  One commenter on this video, Toby, stated that "Doesn't SBCSC have a policy against student cellphone use during the school day??". Is that really the main concern here? The sad part about this fact, however, is that a student captured this video on his cell phone when according to SBCSC regulation is never allowed during the school day. However, luckily this one student broke the rule, and provided evidence of the teacher's innocence.

Let's start with Windows. Windows is an OS (operating system) that runs on most systems today! Almost any software, not made by Apple of course, runs on Windows OS. This reliability is the main strength of Windows, and is why most businesses today still use Windows. Another reasons businesses and people love windows so much is the price, the price of a normal laptop ranges from $300 to $2000. Most people choose to get one around the range of $500 since the higher end ones are usually just important for gaming and graphics rendering. Applications are much more readily available. If you go online and search for a program, almost 100% of the time it works with Windows. Overall, Windows is much cheaper and can be used in many different ways, the hardware will be better for the price you pay, and  they are much more readily available when searching to buy one. It is hard to talk anymore about Windows since features change from laptop to laptop.

Apples Mac OSX has many advantages of its own. First off, only Apple produces any device with a Mac OS on it, while Windows allows other companies to use windows on their laptops (i.e. Toshiba, Sony, HP, Compaq). Now this may actually sound like a disadvantage to most people, but since they are creating the OS and deciding what hardware to put inside, Apple knows what will works well with what. For example, Mac laptops know that they will use an Intel processor and AMD is not allowed. That alone makes Apple's OS support much smaller. The trackpad they created, which is patented, allows you to do many things just by flicking two or three fingers instead of one on the trackpad. Also, you can click anywhere and the trackpad, and it will push down and click. Apple also knows that the charge slot will always be the same. So they created a nice charger (I like to call it "Apple Juice") that is magnetic, so if someone trips over your cord, it will not pull the laptop with the cord. Apple has one feature that I believe wins the war, Bootcamp. Bootcamp is a Mac application that actually allows you to dual-boot your system with Windows, so you are free to switch between Windows and Mac OSX whenever you like! Why would Microsoft allow such a thing? As usual, the reasoning is money. Microsoft signed a contract with Apple allowing their Macs to run Windows on one condition, the user has to buy a retail version of Windows to install it. Microsoft now makes money off of Macs and Windows computers which is a pretty smart move in business.

The Verdict: Who wins the OS war?

E-cigs work by providing flavor and nicotine in cartridges that you insert into the E-cig itself. These cartridges, in great flavors such as Redbull, Fruits, and even tobacco, provide the user with a pleasant flavor while also delivering nicotine all in the form of water vapor. Some may argue that it still contains the nicotine (the addictive chemical in cigarettes) and is not useful when trying to quit, but due to the different amounts of nicotine available for cartridges (some containing none) allow the smoker to slowly wean themselves down to smoking nothing but flavor and vapor. To further enhance the effect of habitual smoking, the E-cig also lights up at the tip when inhaling and is released as Propylene Glycol to create the same smoky look as a normal cigarette. Although all of these traits seem almost identical to a cigarette, the lack of tobacco and chemicals, especially tar, make every smoke much healthier and reduces the risk of cancer or aging.

Not only are E-cigarettes healthier, but they can be smoked almost anywhere! Indoors or outdoors, these amazing Electronic cigarettes are odorless and do not create the risk of second-hand smoke to people around you. Now you can smoke at the mall, in restaurants, and even in your car or home without creating the annoying odor of normal cigarettes.

Critics claimed that some of "Flappy Birds' game art was taken from the popular mid-1980s game, 'Super Mario Bros.'. Both the green tubes and the moving background images are very closely related, although the gameplay itself is not related at all. On the left is a Flappy Bird pipe, while the right image is a Super Mario Bros pipe. 

Not only was Nguyen worried about these criticisms, he was also in fear of the Nintendo Entertainment Company filing a law suit against him due to these similar illustrations.

As you can see from the image above, their picketing is a downright unacceptable, using words such as 'fag' and telling people they are 'going to hell'. Westboro Baptist Church is an American hating, anti-gay church that pickets events such as soldiers funerals and pro-gay conventions with ridiculously offensive and inappropriate signs. The picket events only cause issues and do not do anything for the common good.

These picketing events caused huge public uproar, and the funds for 'Gaymercon' to skyrocket from $25,000 to $90,000 dollars. Westboro Baptist Church, however, did promise that they would picket the convention. One Westboro Baptist Church member says that 'Gaymercon' is "yet another area of life where fag filth is intentionally called out and crammed down our throats." This is not the kind of protest that anyone will follow. If anything, these sickening images make America more pro-gay than ever before.

'GaymerX2' is taking place July 11-13 this year. Westboro church has not yet announced if they will be picketing or not but hopefully they will not discourage the general public from attending.

The Xbox One, when released, had a different headphone jack for chatting with other players online. This jack, unlike the usual 3 mm Xbox 360 one, is not a common one to come by. In fact, the jack is actually proprietary to the Xbox One. Today, Microsoft leaked the new headset that they are selling to compete with the other gaming headset companies. Although the headset is rumored to be released at the low price of $79.99, Microsoft is also releasing an adapter to fit the old 3 mm headset jack. The adapter (which converts the proprietary Xbox One connection to 3 mm audio) is rumored to be only $29.99! That makes it less than half the price to use your old and cherished headset as compared to getting the new one.

However, the Microsoft headset also has some more bells and whistles compared to the outdated Xbox 360 gaming headsets. The new headset will have a "20Hz – 20kHz audio spectrum", which is much higher quality than most of the predesignating Xbox 360 headsets. Also, most of these old headsets will have the burden of them not being Microsoft supported. This means that they are not guaranteeing that the in game audio will work without a separate adapter not made by Microsoft since Xbox One only supports HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) audio. Most old headsets, such as Turtle Beach, use the red and white audio cables, known as Composite audio. 

As you can see from this scene in the show, they make it seem absurd that owning a gun is necessary. They do this very well by showing all of the guns in the cabinet and show that Stan (the man in the suit) is acting like a child by saying "Haha I win." to his daughter when she thought she killed someone with a gun. Stan also, after this clip, says "Guns protect people from people with smaller guns."

In another episode, Stan is entering a conservative convention and gets "gay tested". According to Stan, a "typical homosexual male will be in great shape, well-dressed, wearing sandals, holding a brightly colored drink and listening to Celine Dion." This is obviously a ridiculous stereotype, but somewhat humorous. In the end of the episode, Stan has a revelation when he meets republican homosexuals. After all he goes through with them, he realizes being gay is not a choice and starts to use logical reasoning. This convinces you that the "smart American" respects gays for who they are.

The simple answer is yes. Multiplayer game-play, especially online, is not only full of violence, sexual content, and foul language, but it is also full of the vile teenagers and adults that inhabit it. On most of today's modern game consoles, a microphone is included that allows you talk to other players in your game. The microphone (or as many game regulars call it "mic") can be used to talk to people in your game and meet new people while also being cooperative in the game. Sounds great does it not? The only problem is the "mic" is rarely used for this purpose. It is most often used to "trash-talk" other players inside of the game. Younger players, often referred to as "squeakers", are usually the main target for offensive insults, often including sexual and/or profane language that would make the word idiot seem like a complement. Their behavior often becomes worse due to playing these horrific games, and also cause them to learn about adult content much to soon in their lives.

The simple solution is keep your children off of online video games until you feel they are mature enough to handle them. The ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) even states on every online video game that "Online Interactions Not Rated by the ESRB".
