I was lazing about trying to find something to watch, and I came across Griffin in Summer and I absolutely loved it. I loved your role, and I loved the kid that played Griffin. I remember being a lad his age and being all confused and getting a crush on a bloke that was kind of like Brad, so I think that's why I enjoyed the film so much. But you did a good job, mate. And you looked so good in it to! And because I'm one of those people that need to scope out someone's IMDB when I watch them in something, I saw you were going to be part of the Life is Strange adaptation. That's fucking brilliant, I love that game. Are you filming that now? ( @teaguewo )

the video game to television show adaptions have been on such a roll lately that i have no doubt this one will kill it too. how's the game play going? i'm not sure i would call him one of my favorites. the man makes it so hard to root for him with everything he's doing. however, you? def an actor that i favor so excited to see you bring him to life. summer in vancouver — fun! have you ever visited before?

That's definitely part of it. Couldn't be happier to have shared and continue to share a set with amazing people to learn from, maybe others learn from me at some point. i have no doubt others learn from you too! you have a lot of knowledge to offer, after all. exactly, that learning something always changes something in your thinking, even if it's subtle. so no piece of knowledge is too small. it'd be fun though, even if we didn't guess a single one right. it's all in the attempt, and bonus for having good company for the whole process, too. maybe i'd be more worried about us the next day, because i don't know about you, but my tolerance is stupidly low. not that i'd let that stop me, but i'm just saying. it wasn't bad, though, especially since i really liked the project and was happy to have landed the part for it. technically the vacation was the breather. are you still filming? you'll be happy that i got a little time in new york before having to film the next thing, and honestly, so was i.

Hearing that people enjoyed it has been incredibly rewarding. We all cared about this one a great deal, and I think there was a healthy amount of terror involved in bringing it back after all these years. And thank you. Emily would be thrilled to hear that people are appropriately intimidated by her. That's exactly the reaction she'd want. I did get a little bit of rest, to be fair. Though the second I started relaxing, I immediately had to get on another plane, so I'm not sure it fully counts. Had to promote Disclosure Day, and now I'm about to film A Quiet Place III with my darling husband. You're being very mysterious about it, which is making me even more curious. Though you're right, anything Ang touches usually ends up being beautiful, so I'm already intrigued. Enjoy being home for at least five minutes before the next thing drags you away again.

i've got a good feeling about all this and it's true. the lighter, the better. for me, i know that really applies to everything since i'm not big on being constrained. i'm in new york a lot these days since that's home and i've got not too much going on so just say the word.

I'm not what one would call a gamer by any means, but I do like to play video games to relax sometimes when I've had a stressful day on set, or when my son is down for a nap and he's been a little pistol all day. And Life is Strange is one of those games I like to play, and I just saw you were cast to play Frank Bowers in the TV series, which is so brilliant. I didn't realize they were making a TV series, but I'm very excited and I'm excited to see you bring Frank to life. I really liked you in Mrs. Fletcher, so I'm excited to see you in something else, but it also made me realize I need to watch more of your work!

i love the excitement for the adaptation and hearing people's individual stories about their love for it. which i hope it lives up to said excitement for fans like yourself. i'll be honest with you because i'd never played the game before i landed the role, though of course that's changed in the last few weeks for just wanting to experience it for myself before filming. i was so drawn in by the script though and so happy to have landed the role. does that mean frank is one of your favorites?! filming starts next week, so currently in the process of packing my life up for vancouver.

all the time! especially when i'm working, since i tend to make playlists for my characters and it's inevitable i'll listen to those a lot. plus not my fault nick cave goes with just about everything in my world. i feel ashamed of myself not having heard this song, but i know which one i'm listening to next! it must be a good one if you have it on repeat.

oh, i don't know if it's a great answer than one probably a lot of actors have, but i'd love to do anything within the lord of the rings verse, given i grew up on it. so that show or another film, i'd be so game to just be part of it. and i'll flip this for the musician's answer because i'm curious. is there an artist you haven't collaborated with, and you'd drop everything if you had the chance to?

See, that's exactly the sort of story I love hearing. We spend so long making these things that sometimes you forget they're eventually going to belong to audiences and become part of people's memories. Weirdly enough, yes. It was surprisingly easy to step back into her shoes. The second I put the clothes on and started speaking in her voice, it was like no time had passed at all. She's just sharper now. Terrifying woman. Love her dearly. My favourite thing is that people keep telling me they wouldn't want to be on her bad side. You're all very sensible. And yes, Napa definitely helped. For about five minutes. It was lovely while it lasted, though. Then I immediately got back on a plane and resumed being a professional nomad. Though I can't complain too much. I genuinely love what I do. I'm just beginning to suspect I have a very unhealthy relationship with the concept of rest. Also, congratulations! That's fantastic news. See? You got about three seconds of time off before the universe dragged you back onto a set too. We actors are incapable of relaxing for any meaningful length of time. And California sounds significantly nicer than being trapped in a press junket hotel ballroom for eight hours a day. What are you filming? Are you allowed to tell me anything?

Yeah, that's exactly it. Even if they're not actively teaching you anything, you're learning just by watching how they approach a scene, how they prepare, how they carry themselves on set. And the funny thing is, the really great ones are usually the most generous with it too. They never make you feel like you have to earn the right to be there. That's kind of the perfect outcome, isn't it? Learning loads of things you'll probably never use again, but feeling enriched by the experience anyway.
