You saved me once
Sakura watched in horror as Sasuke broke the arms of Zaku, his screams of pain filled the forest and Sakura could do nothing. It terrified Sakura to see Sasuke at this state. She didn't know what to do and what to think. One moment he was unconscious, the next, he was standing like he wasn't beaten up by that Orochimaru earlier.
Something was wrong with him, that she was sure of. There was something eerie and definitely different about him the moment he woke up from his unconscious state.
'This is not Sasuke' she said to herself. Images of him smiling flashed in her mind one by one as tears spilled out of her eyes. No, this wasn't the boy she loves. If she doesn't do anything now, Sasuke will kill Zaku and his team. She was aware that Ino and her team wouldn't dare stop him, for fear that he will target them too.
With nothing left to do, Sakura stood up despite the pain she was feeling all over her body and with the new found strength, she ran as fast as she could towards Sasuke. The moment she was inches away from him, her arms enveloped his body. "Please stop," she whispered, tightening his hold on him to stop him from hurting Zaku.
Everything else vanished from her view, only the boy she is currently holding right now is what matters now. The curse mark slowly subsided and the both of them was on the forest floor. She sighed in relief, thankful that somehow, she managed to save him.

and now I'll save you too
Sasuke struggled to get up, every inch of his body is burning from pain but it doesn't matter. His eyes focused on Sakura, who was unconscious and being held up by Gaara's sand. He told Naruto to save her no matter what. He couldn't let another precious person die in front of his eyes again.
When Naruto was finally able to stop Gaara, he quickly catched Sakura when the sand let her go. It was the only thing he could do now and he was glad that Sakura is finally safe.
He settled her down besides Paku on a large branch. He was careful as to not hurt her any further. For a brief moment, his eyes turned soft as he looked at Sakura. What was she thinking? Why did she risked her life to save him? He knew that if she didn't managed to stand between him and Gaara, he was done for.
She saved him, and no matter how much he hated it, Naruto saved her. He only catched her when she was free falling and that was enough to let him think that he saved her too.

I will take your pain, and put it on my heart
Sakura's fear came true and there was nothing she could do to prevent it. If she didn't arrived in time, Sasuke would be long gone. Where did she mess up? Kakashi and Naruto reassured her again and again that Sasuke wouldn't dare leave the village. But no matter how many times they tried to ease her troubling mind, in the back of her mind, she was sure something bad would happen.
Sasuke told her to go home but she would not let him leave.
"Why don't you ever tell me anything?"
"Why do you have to be so silent? Why can't you just let me in?"
For once, can he share his pain? Sakura wanted nothing more but to take the burden off his shoulders and let him be happy. But how was that even possible if Sasuke remained silent all the time? What was she to him? Did he see her as a friend? Or someone who just got stuck to him?
She and Naruto wanted nothing more but to help Sasuke. If only, if only he shared his troubles with them, then maybe they could find a way to set him free from his revenge. But that was an impossible wish.
She just wants him to be happy. To take away his pain.
"I'm so in love with you that I can't even stand it!"
It was pathetic to confess her feelings in a time like this. She was desperate to keep him from going that she'll do anything.
"You're annoying"
When he turned his back again, she threatened to scream when he suddenly vanished from her view and felt his presence behind.
"Thank you" was the last thing she heard as darkness consumed her.

I thank the oceans for giving me you
He was once again leaving Konoha, but for a different reason this time. Sasuke was finally saved and she was more than happy. They were at the village gates, preparing to say goodbye to Sasuke again.
She was sad and nervous at the same time. The first time he left the village, it broke her heart and encouraged her to be stronger in order to save him together with Naruto. Now, he was leaving to redeem himself and see the world with clearer eyes. She was glad that he was doing this, but it sadden her to watch him leave again.
She nervously asked him if she could go with him. He told her that it was his redemption and she has nothing to do with her sins. Defeated, she hung her head, silently cursing herself inside her head for even trying.
Then suddenly, she felt a light tap on her forehead. She stared with wide eyes at the boy–man–in front of her. She didn't know what to do and she was sure her face was red all over.
"I'll see you soon," he said. And just like before, he thanked her. Her face heated up ten times more and she had to stop herself from crying.

I won't hesitate for you
The both of them silently watched as the stars twinkled above them. The night was clear from clouds and it was peaceful around them. Sasuke finally agreed to Sakura's request of travelling with him and she was more than happy to accompany him. Her love for him was stronger than ever as they spent their time together for how many months now.
She closed her eyes and smiled up to the sky. She never regretted loving him and she was more than happy when she learned that her feelings for him was finally reciprocated. Her long years of waiting was worth it. They were seated on a large tree branch, waiting for sleep to take over them.
She pointed to the stars when a light tap on her forehead made her head turn towards Sasuke. His eyes were closed and there was a hint of smile tugging on his lips. Something magnetic pulled them towards each other. At this, Sakura closed her eyes.
Under the starry night, under the same sky, the moon witnessed their love for each other.
With their love, Sarada Uchiha was born.
End.
